Author's Note: Ah the glory of the enemies-to-lovers one-bed troupe. Had to add  it in. I just had to.

"I refuse to share a hut with him," you said firmly.

"I refuse to share a hut with you, too, greenie," Gally replied.

"I refuse more!" You argued.

"That doesn't make sense." Gally scoffed.

"You don't make sense," you muttered.

"Enough! We don't have enough rooms right now so you'll have to share. Alright?" Newt insisted.

"Nope, not alright," you protested.

"Not alright at all. I'd rather sleep in the slammer," Gally said, crossing his arms.

"I would rather die."

"That can be arranged," Gally mumbled.

"Both of you get to the hut and go to sleep right now or you'll be sleeping in the maze with the Greivers!" Newt ordered.

Grumbling, you both walked into the hut and shut the door.

You both froze and died inside when you saw that there was only one cot.

"For the record, I hate this," You said.

"For the record, I hate you," Gally replied, "but I'm not sleeping on the floor all night. I have hard work to do tomorrow, unlike you, and can't afford a stiff neck."

You had been about to offer to sleep on the floor, but there was no chance of that now.

"No way! I call the bed."

"Can't, I called it first."

You jumped on the cot and stared at Gally.

He gritted his teeth in annoyance.

"Fine," he said. "I'll push you off myself."

And he proceeded to do so, off the bed and onto the floor. Then he climbed on the bed himself and lay with his arms behind his head.

"Goodnight, then."

"Goodnight indeed," you mutter.

"Scoot over!" You ordered.

"No."

"Fine. I'd you won't, then I guess I'll just have to sleep on top of you."

You moved to climb on top of Gally, but he scooted over quickly.

"Get in already," he grumbled, "but you'd better not kick me in your sleep. Or snore."

"I'll snore as loud as I want to, thank you very much," you said as you climbed in.

It was a small cot, so Gally was very close to you. You tried your best to avoid him and mostly succeeded. You were successful until you fell asleep. Once you fell asleep, you unconsciously snuggled up to him and put your arm over his chest.

If you were awake, you would have seen a tiny smile on his face. But you weren't awake, and he left in the morning before you awoke.
