Trigger warning for SH! Please ask for help when you need it, I'm glad you're here :)

The sun was starting to set over the Maze, casting a golden hue on the walls as the shadows lengthened. The day had been grueling, and the stress of navigating the ever-changing corridors was beginning to take its toll. You had been feeling overwhelmed for a while, but today, the pressure seemed unbearable. In a quiet corner of the Maze, you had taken a moment to yourself, trying to cope with the mounting anxiety. You sat against the cold stone wall, your mind racing, and the sense of isolation and frustration reached a peak. In a moment of deep emotional pain, you had made a rash decision, using a small, sharp object you found to cut your arm.

The physical pain was almost a relief from the emotional turmoil, but the sight of the blood made you feel even more lost. You were so wrapped up in your distress that you didn't hear Thomas approaching.

Thomas was on his way back to the Glade when he spotted you sitting alone, looking pale and distressed. As he drew closer, he noticed the blood on your arm and froze, his heart sinking. Without a second thought, he rushed over to you.

"Y/n!" Thomas's voice was a mix of shock and concern as he knelt beside you. "What—what happened?"

You looked up, tears streaming down your face, unable to meet his eyes. The shame and guilt of what you had done were overwhelming. "I—I didn't mean to, Thomas. I just... I was so overwhelmed, and I didn't know how to handle it..."T

homas's expression softened as he took in your tear-streaked face and the bloodied arm. His heart ached for you. "Hey, it's okay. We'll fix this."

He gently but firmly took your arm, examining the cuts with a serious but steady gaze.

"We need to get you cleaned up and taken care of. This isn't something you should deal with on your own."

Thomas carefully wrapped your arm with a cloth he had in his pack, applying pressure to stop the bleeding. His touch was gentle and reassuring, every movement filled with care. "You don't have to go through this alone. I'm here for you, no matter what."

You flinched slightly at the touch, but the warmth of his hands and the sincerity in his voice began to soothe your raw emotions. "I'm so sorry, Thomas. I didn't mean to—"

"Shh, don't apologize," Thomas interrupted softly. "This isn't your fault. You're not alone in this. I'm here to help you, and we'll get through it together."

As he worked to tend to your wounds, Thomas's eyes were filled with empathy and determination. He made sure to speak softly and soothingly, trying to provide comfort in this distressing moment. "I know it's tough right now, but hurting yourself isn't the answer. We'll find better ways to cope with what you're feeling, okay? You're important to me, and I want to help you through this."

Once your arm was bandaged, Thomas pulled you into a gentle embrace, holding you close. "It's going to be alright. We'll get back to the Glade, and I'll stay with you. We'll talk to someone who can help, and we'll work through this together."

You clung to him, feeling the weight of your pain starting to lift just a little bit with his comforting presence. The emotional release of sharing your burden with someone who cared deeply made a difference.

Thomas guided you back towards the Glade, his arm around your shoulders, offering you the support you so desperately needed. As you walked side by side, you felt a glimmer of hope, bolstered by Thomas's unwavering support and the promise that you wouldn't have to face your struggles alone.
