Minho was used to the usual camaraderie and playful banter among the Gladers, but today was different. He had noticed you were avoiding him all day, skirting around corners to avoid crossing paths, giving him curt answers when he tried to talk to you. It was clear something was wrong, and Minho was determined to figure out what it was.

He spotted you near the edge of the Maze, sitting on a large rock with your back to him. Minho approached slowly, trying to gauge your mood. The Gladers were bustling around, but he made a beeline for you, hoping to catch you before you slipped away again.

"Hey," he said softly, as he came up beside you. "Can we talk?"

You didn't look at him, your gaze fixed on the distant horizon. Minho could see the tension in your posture, the way you were almost vibrating with anger. It was clear that you were upset, but he wasn't sure why.

"Y/n, what's going on?" Minho asked, his tone gentle but firm. "You've been avoiding me all day. Did I do something?"

When you didn't respond, Minho's frustration grew, but he tried to keep his voice calm. "Seriously, this isn't like you. If I messed up, just tell me. I'm not a mind reader."

Finally, you turned your head slightly, but not enough to meet his eyes. "I'm just...mad, okay? I don't want to talk about it."

Minho's face softened, though his concern was evident. "You know you can talk to me about anything, right? If I did something to upset you, I want to fix it. Ignoring me isn't going to solve anything."

You sighed heavily, feeling a mix of guilt and frustration. Minho's persistent kindness was wearing you down, and despite your anger, you couldn't help but feel a pang of remorse for shutting him out.

"It's just...everything feels like it's falling apart, and I needed some space," you admitted, your voice barely more than a whisper.

Minho's expression softened even further, his concern for you evident. "Hey, if you're feeling overwhelmed, you should let me help. We can work through whatever's going on. I'm here for you, whether you're mad at me or not."

He took a seat next to you on the rock, close but not too close, giving you the space you needed while still showing his support. "I don't like seeing you upset, and I definitely don't want to be the cause of it. But if there's something I can do to help, I want to. So, please, just let me in."

His words were genuine, and it was clear he cared deeply about you. The stubborn part of you wanted to hold on to your anger, but the warmth of his offer made it harder to keep your guard up.

You took a deep breath and finally turned to face him, the weight of your frustration starting to lift. "It's not just you, Minho. I've been dealing with a lot lately, and I guess I took it out on you. I'm sorry."

Minho's face lit up with a relieved smile, though he still looked concerned. "It's alright. We all have our days. But you don't have to go through this alone. Let me help, okay?"

You nodded, feeling a bit more at ease. Minho reached out and gently placed a hand on your shoulder, offering a comforting squeeze. "Come on. Let's take a walk. Sometimes talking things out helps, and if not, at least we can clear our heads together."

As the two of you walked side by side, the tension between you began to ease. Minho's unwavering support and willingness to be there for you made it clear that he was more than just a friend; he was someone who truly cared. And as you opened up to him about what had been bothering you, you felt a weight lift off your shoulders, grateful for his understanding and presence.
