Chapter 100: Premonition

After the compromise between Phos and his master. Phos was told to withdraw and surrender his weapon to Grandidierite, as Phos walks along the grass there he sees the wooden table Grandi works in, with blades and arrowheads lined up on it and on the ground beside her was some packets to store the bigger blades and ice saw, and scythes. Finally Phos had reluctantly reached Grandidierite's station as he greets her

"Heyyy.. Grandi. I- um have to return this.." Phosiderite hesitantly placed his blade on the table

"Ah.. Master suspended you again?" She implores

"Yeah. Permanently this time" Phos whines. Grandi laughs and scoffs until suddenly stopping as she examines Phos' expressions and slightly feels remorseful

"Are you kidding..?" She asks with a concerned tone this time

"No. Not really" Phos replied. Grandi gasped and leaned over to Phos

"Whyyy?" Grandi seemed annoyed as Phos chuckles and scratches the back of his head

"I don't know really.. but it had to do with me remembering something Master had remember in the past." He explained

"Ehh..? That's strange I never expected it'd be a lightweight reason." Grandi wondered this time whilst being perplexed that a reason like that would be unusual

"Ah maybe because you're special now! You can be like me, I don't fight but hey I'm more skilled than I look." Grandi added in hopes to soften Phos' mood

"Eh.. Only you could be special. Master designed you differently.. wider hips and cuter voice aaand cutest hair! ya'know?" Phos replied with a small humble smile

[This is Grandidierite! One of the few 'females' among the gems. When she was born on the Cord Shore, Phosphophyllite was thinking on how Cairngorm turned into Aechmea's bride. He wasn't aware of gender so he designed Grandidierite to his image on how he reimagined a bride Cairngorm would be. Thus Grandidierite was the 1st female gem, though there is no difference or hassle between the male and female gems. Phosphophyllite was reminded of what they are because of Grandidierite. She's Phosiderite's bestfriend and a friend of 'another' gem, her specialty goes to examining and researching on weapons from the moon. Recently a bow from the Lunarians was recovered and was reproduced perfectly.]

Grandi giggled as she patted Phos' back and comforted them even more

"Hey since you didn't really do anything bad, I'm pretty optimistic that you'll have special like me and Obsidian has!"

[A new Obsidian is in this new generation too! He's Grandi's partner and forges, crafts and works with Grandi. Grandi considers Obsidian special because whenever he breaks new shards he produces molten parts of the shards taken apart from him, Phosphophyllite also saw this opportunity and gave him title of "Craftsman" and known to sleep earlier than any of the gems when Winter is near because he's the heaviest sleeper because of him usually repairing and reforging weapons constantly]

"Well yeah I guess.. But what will I do now? How will Eudialyte feel?" Phos overthought this and shrugged a bit

"Nonsense! I bet your new job will be as cool as mine!" Grandi scoffed it and gave him a motivating push

Phos scratched the back of his head once again. 'Looking at weapons all day isn't fun at all.' As he got back on his way and walked away from Grandi's station whilst waving goodbye.

Walking around the grasslands whilst looking at the other gems, and then suddenly his vision changes to something else..

'Huh my eye feels funny.' [This phrase is to indicate what Phosphophyllite said when he saw the earth being destroyed.]
