"And what y'all doing now? Being that you let her stay up past her bedtime" Dre asked over FaceTime, leaning forward into the camera
"We are decorating cookies.. Gigi you gonna show daddy your cookie"
I turned the camera onto Gigi and she showed her cookie. I ended up taking Gigi for the night and me, her, trin and melody were having a girls night
"See my cookie daddy"
Dre smiled "you doing good babygirl"
Gigi smiled before putting her cookie back down and finished decorating it. I turned the camera back around
"You gone Lemme see your cookie?"
"Dre please! There are children around. And most importantly me"
Dre kissed his teeth while I laughed
"Trin don't nobody think that negative all the time but you"
"That's why her ass got a baby now" Dre added and she shrugged, eating one of her cookies
"Trin why you eating my niece cookie? She supposed to be decorating it!"
"How she gone decorate it Ana?"
"You supposed to help her"
Trin chewed while looking at me some type of way before looking down at melody while sat back on her lap
"Here melody" she tried to put the half eaten cookie in melody's hand. Melody tried to grab it, grabbing just a crumb and went straight to eating her hands
"See" trin resumed eating the cookie
"Whatever.. well I'll talk to you later Deandre"
"Ight. Y'all have fun. I love you"
"I love you too" I responded before hanging up the phone
"Aweeeee! I love you too Dre" trin mocked me in a cheesy voice
"I do not sound like that"
"You do mommy" Gigi laughed. I looked at her while trin cheesed
"Yeah you heard... mommy"
I stuck my finger up at trin before we finished decorating and eating the cookie, which was something I regretted doing so late at night because little Miss Gianna did NOT wanna sit down for like an hour before she eventually crashed out. Once she was tired it was almost midnight and melody had fallen asleep so Trin laid her down and went to catch her some sleep as well before she woke back up, leaving me and Gigi
"Look mommy" Gigi tapped me while we laid in my room watching princess and the frog eating left over pizza cause I really was hungry as hell right now
"You like her princess dress?" I asked her and she nodded
"I'm a princess"
"Yes you are... Princess Gianna"
Gigi smiled as she laid her head on me, focusing on the tv and I looked down at her watching as her eyes slowly started to get low and next thing I know she was asleep
For about an hour I just looked at her, watching her sleep so peaceful without a care in the world. I knew she was comfortable because she was sleeping good with her mouth open a little just like her daddy.
I moved the now empty pizza box onto my nightstand before finally laying her all the way down.
Once I got her down I turned the tv off and laid down as well, eventually drifting off to sleep
