Knowing Dre had court in the morning really sat on my mind all day today and even more tonight so I really couldn't sleep. Plus gio just chose tonight out of all nights to wanna stay be up
"Listen Giovonni. I need you to go to sleep or something cause this ain it" I told him with a yawn while I put his pacifier in his mouth, getting him quiet
Wasting no time spitting out the pacifier, gio started smiling and I laughed a little
"As much as I love that you're a happy baby, this late at night is not the time to be happy. Go to sleep child"
I put him in his swing and laid down on the couch, where I was because once I got up to get his bottle I just stayed out here
"What you doing in here?" I heard Dre's voice so I looked up and saw him walking into the living room
"Go back to sleep. I got him. He just wanted to do all of that crying tonight for some reason"
"I ain hear him cry"
"Because you sleep like a fuckin hibernating bear" I muttered while giving gio his pacifier again and this time he sucked on it, looking like he was about to go back to sleep
Dre came and sat down on the chair resting his hand on my thigh
"Why you ain woke me up?"
"Cause you got court in the morning"
"Oh so you ain going nomore?"
"Of course im going with you still. But YOU got court. I'm just moral support" I answered while turning on my side
"Nah you ain just moral support so shut up with that shit. And even if... at the end of the day I'm still a parent. What I look like sleeping all night and making you take care of him by yo self just so I can go to court in the morning and try to prove I'm the responsible parent"
"Well I'm giving you permission to sleep in this one time"
"Nah" he grabbed my arm and pulled me up "go getcho ass in the bed"
"I'm good Deandre"
"You heard me"
I rolled my eyes and sat all the way up looking at him
"Look" I pointed at gio "he's good. He sleep now. If he wake up again I'll come get you"
Dre went and picked gio up before walking off, heading back down the hall
"Bring yo ass on and get in the bed"
"You probably woke him back up asshole" I cursed while he just ignored me
Letting out a deep breath, I stood up and shook my head while going back to the room
He laid gio in his crib and LUCKILY he went right back to sleep
"If he would've woke up I would've beat yo ass Deandre"
Dre looked back at me then pointed at the bed "go to sleep"
"I'm going. Calm down"
I headed over to the bed and laid down before Dre eventually did the same, throwing his arm around me and I laughed
"Whatchu laughing at?"
"Cause if you just wanted me in the bed with you then that's all you had to say"
Dre sucked his teeth
"It's okay though cause I know how y'all niggas like to get when y'all get put on the spot about y'all feelings. So I'll leave you alone but trust me. I know you was missing me"
