I laid on the floor of the living room while trin sat beside me, scrolling on my laptop and gio was laying on his stomach, reaching for a toy in front of him while smiling and drooling
"Why is my baby so happy?" I questioned, pushing the toy closer to him because it moved away "I've never been that happy in my life. It's giving I brought the wrong baby home"
"Girl bye! That's y'all baby! He look just like y'all.. well mostly Dre"
I lifted my head up and looked at trin "you think he look like me?"
"A little bit. He got your eye shape but he got Dre's actual eyes.. and everything else"
I sucked my teeth before rolling my eyes "you ain shit"
"I wouldn't be me if I was any other way"
"Here mommy" Gigi said as she walked into the living room, coming from her room with Melody following behind her. Gigi held one of her plates from her toy kitchen set and a toy cake with a doughnut on the side
She sat the plate down, picked up the toy doughnut and handed it to trin before pushing the plate with the toy cake in it over to me
"Who said I didn't want the doughnut?" I asked Gigi and she tapped her chin, looking between both of us
"But.. it's no more doughnuts" she shrugged
"Okay then. Well thank you. I'll give your restaurant 3 stars only because y'all ran out of doughnuts... and the other employee mean mugging me" I nodded over at melody.
Trin started laughing as melody picked up her cup from beside trin, drinking from it
"Bon Apple Tea!" Gigi enthusiastically said all wrong before heading back to her room. I deeply sighed to keep in my laugh meanwhile trin didn't hold hers in.
Melody started to follow Gigi but stopped, turned around and grabbed the cake off of the plate that Gigi gave me and took off back to Gigi's room
"How she steal my cake?"
"Cause she's her daddy's child" trin answered while she scrolled on the laptop "look at dress! This is cute as hell"
"Lemme see"
She turned the computer screen so I could see. It was the prettiest red princess style prom dress covered in crystals
"That really is cute. If I went to prom I would've wore something like that Forreal"
"Me too.." trin said while she faced the laptop back to her then looked at me again "I thought your momma showed me some pictures of you before you left for prom?"
"I left for prom.. but I didn't go"
"Ana, you was busy being grown?"
"No. I ain do nothing inappropriate. Me and my date just changed into some comfortable clothes and went to go eat. Plus my period was on"
"That saved you huh?"
I nodded "it really did cause I cut him off right after that. He was cool but he told me that if we would've had sex prom night then he would've purposely gave me a baby.. like boy! Cut. I don't do that b word.. no offense gio"
"What if that did happen. You would have a 6 or 7 year old right now"
"I wouldn't have shit"
"I could see you when we was working at footlocker. You witcho bad ass"
