I had to leave early to get things set up for this gender reveal that I was hired to do and Gigi was still asleep so I left her with Dre until I got back. By the time I was done working and got back to the house she was awake and up under me since I stepped back in the door. Dre said she woke up looking for me and when she realized I was gone she was in her feelings
My initial plan was for us to go out today and have a girls day but honestly, I wasn't in that much of a mood anymore and besides, Gigi wasn't either so we were gonna make it a girls day in and kick Dre out since he claims he has shit to do anyways
I ordered pizza, wings, cheese bread, the ultimate chocolate chip cookie, the triple chocolate brownie and then made Dre go to the store and get us some more snacks, cupcakes and candy before he went to handle his business
"That tickles mommy" Gigi laughed as I painted her little toenails with pink nail polish. I smiled hearing her adorable laugh
"You gotta stay still so I won't mess up"
"Don't mess up"
"I won't but you gotta stay still"
When I said that she froze completely, not moving an inch or even blinking her eyes which caused me to burst out laughing. Luckily I was now finished cause I surely would've messed her toe nails up
"Gianna you are hilarious"
She looked down at her toes and smiled "ouuuu"
"You like it?"
She nodded still looking at them with a smile like they were the best thing in the world which no lie, made me feel good
"No they're gonna be pretty for school Monday"
"You come to school with me?"
I sighed closing the nail polish "no. I can't but trust me I would if I could"
She frowned a little and I fixed how I was sitting, being that we were on the floor of the living room and fanned her toes
"Don't be sad. When you go to school you'll make a lot of friends to play with. You get to play outside with other kids, have fun and dance, draw, eat and learn. It's gonna be fun, I promise. And when you finish with school for the day I'll come to pick you up and you can tell me all about your day. Okay?"
"Okay"
"And we can make a deal. If you be a big girl and behave at school I'll buy you whatever you want"
"Can I get a princess doll?"
"Of course! And we'll get daddy to get you some clothes and accessories for your doll too"
Gigi cheesed so hard while moving over to me sitting on my lap and hugged me
"I love you mommy"
"I love you too" I replied, hugging her back.
Gianna saying that honestly made me emotional but I had to catch myself and just embrace her.
I must honestly say that Gianna was someone I never knew I needed and it's crazy how I found myself loving her more than I love my own damn self. Well other than Dre because that's my heart too, but Gigi, it's a different type of bond and love.
