Malia wakes at the sound of her alarm going off. It's a muffled noise and she knows that it's trapped in the blankets somewhere. She sits up, irritated, and looks around for the device. Groaning in frustration, she stands up and shakes her blankets out.

Her phone drops to the floor and she picks it up, turning the alarm off in the process. She tosses it back on the bed and turns to her dresser. She grabs clothes for the day; a pair of jeans and a long sleeved shirt. The shower that she takes lasts 20 minutes.

When she gets out, she makes breakfast for herself and Camryn. Said woman is trudging from her hall. She tosses her book bag on the couch as Malia slides her plate toward her.

"Thank you. I feel like shit."

"You look tired as hell."

"I am." Camryn says as she bites into the breakfast burrito. She inhales deeply as she chews. "This is so good."

Malia smiles at her as she chews her own food. Camryn's phone starts ringing and she groans as she answers.

"Imma knock this man head off. I swear to-. Hello?" She answers Midas's FaceTime.

"You want a mocha or hazelnut flavor shot in your coffee?

Malia raises an eyebrow and mentally coos at how cute that is of him. Camryn looks down at her phone, just blinking.

"...Mocha, please."

"Alright, I'll bring it you. Your first block at 9, right?"

"Yeah." She says as she bites her lip to keep from smiling. Malia grins at the couple.

"Okay. I'll see you in a minute, baby. I love you."

"I love you, too."

They get off the phone and Cam looks at Malia.

"You were about to be so mean to him and he got you coffee." She scolds her and Camryn finishes her food.

"Girl, leave me be."

They wash their dishes, grab their bags and head out the door. Other students are walking through the hall as well. Malia greets them with a wave, Camryn ignores them. She's not trying to be rude. She just knows the majority of people on campus are trying to get to their destination and nothing else.

She is one of said people.

Her and Malia walk quietly to their first classes of the day. Upon entry to her block, Malia scans the room. Seeing that she'll be by herself first thing in the morning is a bit disheartening.

Finding a seat toward the front of the room, she sits all the way to the left side against the wall. She puts her bag down and takes out a pen. Nobody is sure what they'll be doing outside of introductions and going over the syllabus.

The professor introduces herself and then they start going around the room. When it gets to Malia, she looks around before standing up.

"I'm Malia, I'm 19 and I'm the dance captain this year." She says, full of nervousness as she talks. She's never liked public speaking and quite frankly, she doesn't think that she ever will.

As she goes to sit down, a voice asks the question that many are thinking.

"You got a man?"

The class laughs a little and her face warms.

"Yeah." She says as she turns to face the front. It feels weird openly admitting to dating somebody. Even more weird that it's Namjoon that she's dating. She likes the feeling of being able to say that she has a boyfriend. No matter how intimidating it feels for her to be able to say that it's Namjoon. It's not a bad intimidating but still is, nonetheless.
