Malia swallows thickly as she looks at her boyfriend. It's the morning of his presentation for the project and before he goes anywhere, he needed to tell his girlfriend what's been going on with Gianna. He walked over to her suite and waited in her room until she got out of the shower. He told her about what happened at the library a few days before and she's been sitting kind of quiet.

She feels terrible. It's like it's embarrassing for him to even be with her after Isaac said what he said. That's kind of how she feels about it, anyway.

"But I didn't have sex with him." Malia says quietly.

"I know. We know that."

"And she doesn't even know me. Why is she in my business?" She asks with a head tilt.

She's frustrated and very annoyed. She's been nice to Gianna the times that she has seen her. Why is she speaking on her like this? Why is she bad mouthing her as if she's done anything to her? All because she's dating Namjoon? That's not going to change. Malia isn't going to give him up at all.

"She definitely has a crush on me or something. I'm assuming. She made it seem like she was defending me against Xavier like I was supposed to thank her. I told her after the project, I don't want her in my face but, you know."

"That doesn't mean it'll actually stop her." Malia says and Namjoon nods.

"Right."

"I don't care." She says suddenly. She shrugs and makes a face. He raises an eyebrow.

"You're my boyfriend. We're together. We have necklaces and everything." Her fingers fix the rose pendant around his neck. He smiles at her, finding her words to be cute.

"Mhm. Your mom also loves me. And me and your dad are best friends."

"Your mom loves me, too. And she said your dad would have loved my dancing."

"My dad would have tried to learn every dance you do and he would have made you teach him at least one of them." Namjoon admits as he laughs.

"And we would have danced together. Maybe we would have done it at your finals game."

"Ugh." Namjoon pretends to cringe. "That's so embarrassing. Why would you put that thought in my head?"

"Maybe I'll do it with your mom instead. Your dad will be cheering for us and you'll have no choice but to be happy when you watch."

He wants to cringe about that but he can't. Though it may be cringey to watch his mom dance the way that Malia does, the thought of them bonding that way brings a smile to his face. Knowing that his father would be excited about it makes him happy.

Namjoon grabs her hand holds it in his. The smile on her face isn't one that he wants to ruin. So he, once again, holds off on telling her about his pending scholarship. He can wait for one more day.

"Are you okay?" She asks as she pushes his hair back. He wants a haircut but hasn't had the time to get Hakeem to do it. One of them is always busy.

He looks her in the eyes, not wanting to lie to her. But knowing that if he tells her, it'll put a damper on her day. He doesn't want to do that.

"Yeah, baby. I'm okay."

"Are you sure?"

"Mhm. We can talk later. It's not that big of a deal, I promise." He stands up off her bed and keeps Malia's hand in hers. They grab their bags and walk out of the room together. Hand in hand, they walk from the suite.
