Namjoon sits in the library with a blank look on his face. He rubs the eraser to his pencil against the table, staring off into space as Gianna talks.

For the last four days, he's been like this. He's been in three practices on autopilot. It worsened last night and he completely zoned out. He had to sit through a game, watching his friends play while the crowd cheered and were puzzled by his benched status.

Even Malia was confused. He hasn't told her anything in great detail. All that he told her was that the Dean pulled him and Xavier aside and told them he was benched for fighting. He didn't say anything about his pending scholarship. Nor did he mention her having to talk to anybody.

Namjoon knows that they'll contact her soon and she'll be even more confused. But he cannot bring himself to tell her that what she does directly affects his possible career. He's at a crossroad. He doesn't know what to do.

"Hey. Are you keeping up?"

He looks from the table to Gianna.

"Yeah. I'm listening." He sits up and looks at the laptop. She's almost done explaining each slide. He hasn't been paying attention through most of it.

"You seem kind of out of it today. Are you okay?"

She can't possibly be asking him that. Half of this entire thing is her fault. Had she minded her business, this wouldn't have happened. None of this would have happened.

"...I'm fine."

"Are you sure? I saw you on the bench last night."

"Yeah. I had to sit out." Namjoon says as he looks at his own laptop. She sent him the final edited version of the PowerPoint.

"People are saying you're gonna get dropped from the team... for fighting on your scholarship."

Namjoon looks up from his laptop to her. She's looking at her own device, talking mindlessly.

"People really need to mind their business. I know you're new but you really shouldn't believe everything you hear on this campus."

"Well, I know people make up rumors and things but so far, everything I've heard is true." She shrugs a little and he feels his eye twitch.

"That's why the whole fight started, isn't it?" She asks. "Because Isaac got with Malia over the summer?"

Namjoon pokes his cheek with tongue as he blinks at her. She looks up from her laptop when he doesn't respond. He wants her to look him in the eye for what he's about to say to her.

"Do me a favor?"

"Hm?" She replies as the look in her eyes become attentive.

"Mind your business. The only reason that fight started in the first place is because you didn't. And you're still not doing it. Anything that happens between me and my friends or me and my girlfriend is none of your business or anybody else's. We're good over here."

Namjoon closes his laptop and starts putting his stuff up.

"You were being pushed around, I was trying to help. Now your so called girlfriend just got outed for having sex with somebody else. Clearly you're not."
