I don't know what to do with myself as I wonder around aimlessly. Normally I'd be making dinner for the both of us at this time, but now it's just me again.

By the time the evening rolls around, I'm going stir crazy in this huge house all alone. I keep wondering where Loki is right now because I've noticed storm clouds heading this way.

I really hate to admit it, but I don't like the idea of him being out there in the cold if it does start to rain at some point during the night.

As I lay in bed that night, I can't sleep, especially when I hear the rain begin starting to tap against the windows. I gaze through them, hoping to see signs of a campfire off in the distance, but there's nothing out there.

After climbing back into bed, I hear that familiar rumbling before the ground starts shaking. Rushing back to my window, there's a flash in the sky and a visible uncloaked ship landing about two miles away.

I know Loki would want me to stay inside the house, but what's the point in doing all that training just to hide. I'm essentially a sitting duck waiting out here for them to come for me, and I was done with being protected.

Once I'm dressed, I shut off all the lights to the house before leaving it in darkness with all the doors locked.

I cast a small locator spell to lead me to the ravager ship so I can take the fight to them, which will be the last thing they'd be expecting. It takes around forty minutes of following a tiny blue orb through the dense forest before I spot their ship.

They've lit a large fire, with the trees above working as a canopy to shelter them from the rain. I can here them laughing while they sit around just doing nothing.

Climbing quietly, I make my way up a nearby tree to give myself a higher vantage point so I can count how many of them there are. So far there's at least five that I can count sat around the fire, but I suspect there might be more out here somewhere.

Sudden movement through the trees near the ship reveals another four, that seem to be dragging the bodies of other dead ravagers, meaning that Loki must've taken them out.

To my horror, another ravager appears dragging someone behind him with their hands bound and a collar around their neck.

It's a still cloaked Loki, who I'd stupidly allowed to walk out of the house this morning. If anything happens to him now then it's all my fault.

"Let's see what we have here, boys" the leader says.

One of them pulls his hood down, revealing his face to all of them.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Prince Loki of Asgard" he laughs.

"Isn't he supposed to be dead?" another questions.

"He looks pretty alive to me" one of them adds.

"What do you say, boys? Shall we take him back to Asgard alive or dead?" the leader asks.

"Can you imagine how much gold Odin will pay if we bring his son back alive, along with the witch's head?"

"You will never find her" Loki suddenly speaks.

The leader punches him in an effort to shut him up, but Loki just laughs it off.

"We hear that you had quite a soft spot for the witch. Is that still true?"

"She means no more to me than an ant under my boot" Loki says, which I'll admit hurts my feelings a little.

"Is that so? So when my men capture her, you wouldn't mind if we brought her back here to die in front of you?"
