Much to my surprise, after my bath in the morning Thor's apparently sent a couple of servant girls down here to request my presence on his behalf.

I thought he'd still disappointed enough with me for lying to him that he wouldn't want to see me again for a few days.

They lead me to a secluded wooded area just outside of the palace walls, and I can't help but suspect that they've brought me out here to kill me.

If I was going to murder someone, then this was definitely the ideal place to do it where nobody would be able to hear them scream.

"You may leave us" Thor instructs them once he comes into view.

I remain silently nervous, even when he takes my arm and continues leading me further and further away from the palace.

"Sorry for bringing you all the way out here, but it was the only way to take my mind off of everything".

"Somethings bothering you?"

"With all the recent attacks and this Loki situation, I just felt the need to get away from the palace for the day".

"With me?"

"Of course. I am truly sorry for the guards behaviour towards you".

"So where are we going anyway?"

"There is a secluded lake nearby that I believe you will find quite beautiful" he smiles.

He wasn't wrong. The area is so well hidden among the trees that you wouldn't be able to find it if you didn't already know it was here. The water was perfectly clear and the scenery was just amazing.

"Wow!"

"I thought you might appreciate it" he laughs.

"Can I swim in it?"

"Go ahead".

I'm sure he thought I was going to jump in still wearing my dress, but to hell with that. I strip off completely and quickly dive into the cool waters, feeling instantly relaxed.

I'd always felt much better out in nature, so this place felt like heaven to me.

"Not coming in, God of Thunder?"

"Perhaps another time" he smiles, trying not to look directly at me.

"Is big, strong Thor too afraid? I'll turn around if you want?"

"I am not afraid".

"Then prove it" I dare him.

He starts removing his clothes, but I don't look away. His body was definitely something to be admired and once he's removed his trousers I was definitely not disappointed.

He isn't as big as his brother, but I could definitely see the family resemblance, in spite of the fact that Loki's adopted.

God, he looked amazing with his long hair now wet, but that may be my sexually frustrated inner self talking.

"Glad you decided to join me".

"I did not wish to disappoint you, Lady Krystal".

I keep catching him looking at me and admiring my body while I continue swimming further out into the water.

"Do I make you uncomfortable like this?" I ask him.

"No, not at all. I am simply not accustomed to being in the company of such a beautiful woman".

"Especially when she's naked in front of you I imagine" I laugh.

"I am not entirely unfamiliar with women, if that is what you believe?"

"So you've been intimate with other women?"

"Many times yes".

I swim over to him and place my hands on his broad, muscular shoulders. Slowly running my hands along his bare skin I can hear his heart quicken at my touch.

"Would you like to kiss me?"

"I am not certain my mother and father would approve of that".

"Kissing a witch?"

"Being bewitched by one".

"Well as you can see I'm wearing a collar, so I can't have used any magic on you".

"Yet you seem to have me under your spell, Krystal".

Just as his eyes lock with mine and I believe he's about to kiss me, there's a loud crashing sound off in the distance that causes Thor to look worried.

"What was that?" I ask.

"There is another beast through the trees coming this way. We must go now!"

After getting out of the water and quickly throwing our clothes back on, barely having enough time to fully fasten my dress up, we start running as fast as we can.

Even through my own pulse ringing in my ears, I can hear trees collapsing behind us and the sound gets closer and closer. Whatever was chasing us is big.

"Thor, I can't go on any further" I struggle to breathe after a while.

"We must keep going!"

"I can't. Just go on without me and I'll hide somewhere".

"I can't just leave you here to die!"

"I'm not dying today, Thor, trust me".

He's apprehensive at first, but eventually he agrees and leaves me behind like I'd told him to. It shouldn't take too long for him to run back without me slowing him down.

Even when I find shelter nearby behind a large tree, I can hear whatever is out there, it's booming footsteps growing closer and closer to where I am.

Attempting to wield my magic into my hands, I fail miserably because nothing happens and I try desperately to remove the collar, but it won't budge.

All I can think about is how pissed off I am at myself because I'd most likely die out here before I ever got my chance for revenge.
