Thor continues to watch over me the entire night while I'm asleep, not wanting to leave me alone so I felt safe enough to get more rest before the morning.

As insane as it sounds, I wish I could've known Krystal. The way Thor described her was as if she'd given up her own life so that I could come into existence.

I also wish there was some way that I could let her know that everything turned out okay.

When I lay in bed looking over at a tired Thor asleep in the chair, I think about Loki and imagine all the things he must've been through after she left.

There's probably so much he still wishes he could've said to her.

"Good morning" Thor finally wakes up.

"Morning".

"You look rested".

"You don't" I point out how exhausted he looks.

"Loki will be happy to see you return today".

"Where is he now?"

"I left him at The Sanctum with Stephen and Wong".

"Oh dear".

I bet that went down well. Probably something similar to my boyfriend meeting my two protective older brothers for the first time.

"Needless to say, they were unhappy to know you had been in the company of a god who once attempted to overthrow the mortal realm".

"He isn't like that anymore though, is he?"

"There were moments after he lost Krystal that I feared he may return to his old ways. The second he heard of the danger to you, he seemed to return".

"I suppose I'll have to have a serious discussion with him when I get back".

"Come now, it is time for us to depart".

"By the way, what happened with your father yesterday?"

"I have agreed to return in exchange for your continued safety".

"You don't have to do that. I can protect myself now".

"This is no longer for your protection alone. If Loki is discovered to be alive, and with you no less before my father's passing, he will be brought back here and quite possibly put to death".

"I'll keep him safe, Thor. Unless he annoys me, then I might just go ahead and kill him myself" I laugh now Thor's finally smiling.

We head to the place that I saw when I got first got here.

"May I speak with you alone?" the man in golden armour asks me while Thor's busy speaking with Skurge who accompanied us here.

"Okay?"

I'm not sure what his intentions are because I find it hard to trust anyone here.

"She will soon return and you may be the only one capable of stopping her".

"And who exactly are you talking about?"

"Hela. The Goddess of Death".

"What does that have to do with me?"

"She will seek you out, you cannot hide from her".

For someone that's as tall and intimidating looking as him, he seems afraid.

"Why me? I don't even know who you're talking about".

"Lady Krystal vowed her allegiance to Hela in exchange for her help. When she returns, she will not care if you are no longer of the same mind. She will not hesitate to kill you if you do not repay the dept promised to her".

"So how am I supposed to stop her?"

"You must remember how to compel, for the fate of the entire universe may soon lay in your hands".

Oh for gods sake! Can't I just have one day that isn't full of this kind of stuff? I feel like I'm constantly cleaning up someone else's mess.

"I'll try" I smile and agree to it halfheartedly, not knowing if I can still do it intentionally or not.

"Ready?" Thor comes over and stands by my side.

"Let's go".

I hold the other mans gaze for a second, almost in a mutual understanding when he turns on the Bifrost to send us back to Earth.

It only takes seconds for us to arrive near The Sanctum and I'm glad to be back.

I practically skip the rest of the way because I'm excited to see Stephen and Wong, back in the place I'd called my home for six months.

"I'm home!" I call out when I barge through the doors.

"Thank god, you're okay" Stephen looks relieved.

"You had us worried sick" Wong hugs me.

"I'm fine, honestly. Nobody hurt me while I was there. Where is he?"

"Oh, you mean your little boyfriend Loki?' Stephen jokes, but he also looks disappointed in me.

"Yep, that tall guy, handsome and mysteriously greasy, but in a sexy way" I try to play it off as a joke, but neither of them seem in the mood.

"He's been confined to his room since his brother went to find you" Wong tells me.

"Why?"

"He referred to our training methods as mediocre".

It seems that Loki's criticism hit Stephen right where it hurts.

"My brother is rather known for his sharp wit as well as his silver tongue" Thor speaks having finally caught up to me.

"I need to talk to him".

"Go on" Stephen says sternly.

Something tells me that he's already planning on having words with me about this later.
