After the last phone call that I got from Steve weeks ago, I also got a call from Tony asking if I'd heard from him at all, but I chose to lie. I didn't want to be put in a position where I'd have to pick sides.

I don't know what happened between them, but I know that Steve wouldn't have gone against his own friend like that if he didn't believe that what he was doing was the right thing.

Stephen told me that Thor had returned to Asgard long before all that drama because of a mortal woman absorbing something called an infinity stone?

To be honest, I didn't want to know anything about Asgard. Stephen just hoped that the King would be distracted by that situation enough that the threat on my life would at least be delayed.

"Wong!" I practically scream as I run outside to greet him.

"It is so good to see you" he smiles and spins me around.

"You too".

"Sorry it is only going to be a quick visit today, but I brought you a special gift".

"A gift for me?"

He hands me a box and when I open it up, there's two silver hilts inside.

"Are these what I think they are?"

"Try them out. We had them made specifically just for you".

Once they're in my hands, I can already feel them drawing the power from my body like they're desperately wanting to be used.

The second I summon my magic into my hands, two luminous blue blades form from the hilts so they now look like swords. Best gift ever!

"Wow! I love them!"

"Consider them a late birthday gift from us".

"Can we practice? I haven't had anyone to spar with out here all by myself".

"I thought you'd never ask".

After he summons his wand we both bow. Normally I've always practiced with a staff, but I still manage to block his attack with my sword once he makes his first move.

Unfortunately his wand absorbs the power of my swords, which he uses to his advantage and his blows only get stronger and stronger the longer we fight.

"So not fair" I pant breathlessly after he's knocked me on my ass.

Once he comes over, seemingly to help me back up off the ground, I quickly sweep his legs from under him and stand up victorious.

"You still fight dirty" he groans.

"And you still fall for that one every single time" I laugh.

Once he's up, I know that it's time for him to go back and I give him a big hug. If I ever had a dad before, I'd like to imagine that he would've been something like Wong.

"I will try and visit you again soon, Star".

"Can't wait, and I promise to keep practicing with these even though I'm all by myself. I might go out into the woods later and start a fight with a tree or something".

I absolutely loved the gift. The more I look at them, the more I notice small intricate details like small stars engraved on the sides.

It's such a nice birthday present that I don't even care that it isn't really my birthday today.

Later that night when I'm laying in bed asleep, I'm woken up by a loud rumbling noise and sit up once I feel the ground starting to shake, thinking that it must've been an earthquake.

It's over almost as soon as it began, but it still scared the hell out of me.

"FRIDAY, how big was that one?"

"Miss Star?"

"The earthquake just now. Is there any damage to the house?"

"There has been no recent seismic activity recorded in this area".

"Are you kidding me right now?"

"No, Miss Star. I am incapable of such humour".

Maybe I'd been dreaming just now, but I swear it felt so real?
