|Rory's POV|

It's been a little over two months since the accident. I've been going to therapy to deal with the trauma and physical therapy for my arm. The cast is officially off and I'm excited to have full function of both of my hands again.

Bash has been by my side, helping with my recovery. Still, there's something about him that's changed. The Bash l love is assertive, wears the pants, plays no games about my safety, and will put me in my place if need be. The Bash that I've been getting since the accident is timid and let's me do pretty much whatever I want. You're probably like, girl you're grown, do you. That's not the issue. I hate nonchalant Sebastian.

Since the accident we were officially living together. I gave up my dorm at the end of the semester. It didn't seem any different with the two of us living together as I was here most of the time anyways.

My parents offered to pay for Bash's new car, but he told them no. He upgraded to a Range Rover about a month after everything went down.

As for the rest of the family, Jamie had her baby girl. Zach proposed to Kylie. I can't believe my brother is getting married. Izzy is halfway through pregnancy #2. Time is flying, but thankfully everything seems to be getting back to normal. Next time we'll all be together is Super Bowl weekend. The Chiefs are officially in! Zach is so hype and has been super focused.

Another day and me trying to figure out what's going on with Bash. He was getting ready for work and I was about to go to physical therapy.

"Morning babe," I said, watching him button up his shirt.

"Hey, baby."

He finished and gave me a kiss.

"Ready for your physical therapy?" he questioned.

"Yeah. Only a few more sessions before I switch over to a personal trainer."

He nodded.

"Alright."

Lots of one word answers lately.

"So, I was thinking of going out to lunch after, run some errands, and then tonight my friends wanted to go to a club."

He raised a brow as I said club.

"A club?"

"Yeah, there's this party the girls are going to. There will be plenty of security and an open bar."

As soon as I said open bar he shook his head. Snap out of this shit, Sebastian.

"Alright, be safe and have fun, babe."

What? One thing about Bash was that he reminded me often that I wasn't 21 yet. So, while you could get into a club at 18 here in NYC, I wasn't getting into all the clubs as some of them were 21+. This party tonight is a friend of a friend. They rented a section in the club, put me and my girls on the list, and that's that. Bash won't have a problem with me going out, never does. He just likes to know who I'm with, where I'll be, and when I'm coming home.

"You don't have a problem with me going out? No questions?"

"I want you to do whatever makes you happy. You want to hang out with your friends, cool."

I rolled my eyes. This is the reaction I've been getting. I grabbed my phone, going into the kitchen. I don't know how much longer I could put up with this.

He came out a few moments later and kissed my cheek.

"I'll see you later. Text me if you need anything."

"Mmm hmm."

He went to kiss my lips, but I dodged him. He frowned, but sighed, not saying anything else.
