March 9th - Prompt: Fight

----------

"Don't make me hit you." Peter growled through gritted teeth.

The boy smirked. "What's wrong?" He asked sweetly. "You don't like us talking about your brother?"

Peter glared at the group of boys. "Not when you say things like that." He spat.

"I've seen what you're like recently." The boy laughed. "You hardly speak to your brother nowadays, why's that?"

Peter pushed away his guilt and shook his head. "That's none of your business." He muttered.

"It's true though." The guy taunted. "So why would you care what we said about him?"

"He's still my brother." Peter murmured.

"I seem to notice you two have done a bit of a switch since returning from the country." The boy said, folding his arms across his chest. "You're always mad and grumpy, and he goes around helping people and smiling of all things."

Peter cleared his throat. "Yes well, things happened." He murmured.

"Clearly." The boy snorted. "Clearly what happened was your brother became a little Traitor, he was a decent chap before the country, now he's nothing but a goodytwoshoes."

Peter froze for a split second, the word Traitor echoing in his mind, and before he'd even known what had happened, the boy was on the floor, and pain was shooting down Peter's hand.

Peter didn't even have time to process this before he was tackled to the floor by two others, each of them landing and painful punch to his stomach as the guy rose, smirking. "Oh that was a bad idea." He grinned.

Peter groaned in pain, coughing a little before he saw a fist coming towards his face, and quickly dodged, kicking at the two boys that held him down, but their grips were firm as they pinned him to the hard floor, stones digging into his back which made him flinch.

Again, the guy took aim for Peter's face, and this time his first met its mark, leaving Peter with a terrible nose bleed that left him seeing stars.

He lay there for a moment, before one of the boys pinning him down was suddenly tackled off him, but Peter couldn't get a good look to see who had done it.

"Well look who's turned up." He heard the boy who'd punched him laugh. "Just like I knew you would."

"Leave my brother alone, James."

Peter's heart skipped a beat at Edmunds voice, but couldn't do much else as he was once again punched, this time right between the eyes, leaving him all but unconscious.

"James!" Edmund all but growled, before charging at him, pushing him away from Peter and over towards the lake in the middle of the park.

The other boys left Peter, leaving him alone and in so much pain he could barely move, blood all but pouring from his nose as he rolled slowly onto his side.

His eyes were currently closed, but after he heard the unmistakable sound of someone being kicked in the stomach, he forced them open, seeing Edmund on the floor a little way off, three boys surrounding him and taking it in turns to deal a blow it would seem.
