July 5th - Prompt: Hufflepuff

----------

The traits of a Hufflepuff are strong, Just, loyal, patient, hard-working, caring, determined, dedicated, trustworthy and  kind.

Edmund and Lucy are Hufflepuffs.

They are both strong, Edmund was perhaps the strongest person in Narnia, after going through so much he's still standing. Lucy is extremely strong, she was so young when she first came came Narnia, but never let her age stop her.

They are both Just, Edmund especially, he is called King Edmund the Just. He knows what is right and what is wrong, he's been on both ends, and knows. Lucy strongly believes in doing what is right, and hates when people do the wrong thing, especially out of spite.

They're both patient, Edmund stays patient in most situations, and Lucy almost all unless she's extremely excited for something.

They are both hard-working, Edmund would work day and night to finish paperwork if he has too, he always does the work he needs to and its never late. Lucy is hard-working in a different way, she makes sure to keep everyone happy, makes sure the gardens are filled with enough flowers, makes everyone feel welcome, and can't stand anyone being sad, because it just makes her sad too.

They are both most certainly caring, Edmund cares for his siblings deeply, especially Lucy who was younger than him. As she was younger than him he felt a need to protect her, and care for her more than his two older siblings, but that of course doesn't mean he doesn't care for them, because he does, he really does. Lucy cares for everyone she can, her siblings, her people, the animals... anyone. If she doesn't care about someone or something, you know there's probably something wrong.

They're both determined, determined to do their best, at anything, because if they don't try their hardest and aren't determined to do what they need to do, then what's the point? And they're dedicated too, which falls in the same line, they're dedicated to their work, no matter what it is.

They're both two of the most trustworthy people you'll ever meet. Edmund thinks trust is an extremely valuable thing, especially after what he'd done in the past, and gives his siblings every reason to trust him. Lucy couldn't ever imagine being untrustworthy, and hated lying and other things along the same line.

And finally they were both Kind, two of the kindest people in Narnia, possibly one of their best traits, and their two older siblings loved them for it.

Edmund and Lucy are Hufflepuffs, and it's the perfect Hogwarts house for them.

Yep, I put Edmund in Hufflepuff because Slytherin makes absolutely no sense if you look at it, Hufflepuff is the perfect house for him, although I'd say Ravenclaw is a close second ❤
