"D-Dr. Cruise..." sambit ko sa pangalan nang taong hindi ko inakalang kakampi sa mga kalaban namin. My lips parted as I watched her approached me like she didn't do anything. "H-How... b-bakit..." my mouth couldn't form a words as my forehead caressed. Napaluhod ako dahil sa panghihina at hindi alam ang sasabihin. My lips trembled, as I gazed her along with Dr.Wade and Dr.Ace, who just watched me in shock.

"Dr.Cruise have taken your blood while your unconscious the day you have your mental breakdown," Dr.Wade suddenly said that made me turned my head on him. Kumunot ang noo ko bago biglang lumitaw ang alaala ko noong nagkaroon ako ng panic attack at naalala ang dugong nakita ko sa sahig pati na ang pamamanhid ng balikat ko. I remembered Drew telling me that he heard Dr.Cruise talking something with two men, and I didn't realized that he was referring to the two doctors in front of me!

"Before the vaccines were even made, we delivered your blood to the buyer to prove that it could really saves people. That's when our betrayal started," Dr.Wade continued, and my jaw dropped after I processed his words.

"W-What?" I couldn't believe it. I-I thought...

"We've all planned all of this, Ms.Gordon. From creating the program to letting you volunteer for the rescue operation to test you and prove that your blood can really saves people," he revealed, and all I could do was to give him a death glare. How dare them! "Hindi pa man nagagawa ang vaccines ay maaga na naming naibenta ang mga ito. Isn't that amazing? We're greedy, I know, but can you blame us? Nawalan lang kami at ito lang ang paraan para gantihan ang taong puno't-dulo ng lahat ng ito," he said with conviction and he even got a grudge to smile after what he did.

Nanatiling bukas ang bibig ko pero walang lumabas na salita kahit pa tuluyan nang nakalapit sa akin ang taong gumabay sa akin nang ilang taon. She gazed me as if I'm a stranger she just meet and stopped in front of me. Lumuhod siya sa harap ko at parang isang gripo na mabilis na bumagsak lahat ng alaala ko noong hinahap ko siya nang ilang araw. Is this the reason why she's missing? Because she already turned her back on us? And she supports the traitor next to her?!

"Trahidor..." I uttered and glanced Dr.Wade behind her after turning my eyes back on her. "You lied to me!" I yelled and feel my rapid breathing. Mas nanginig pa ako sa galit nang ngumisi lang siya sa akin na hindi ko akalaing kaya niya pa lang gawin. I'm too blinded by how good she was and I totally forgot that she's a human too. "Why? Tell me why, Dr.Cruise..." I begged her as I feel my tears falling down on my face.

"Let me tell you a story, my dear Alice," she finally said, and tugged my messy hair to my ear. "There's a friend of mine who was kidnapped eighteen years ago," she went on and I clenched my hands into a tight fist when I realized who she was referring to. "The mastermind of her abduction make her life a miserable one, and my two eyes saw how she suffered from all the pain that the man caused her." She kept our eye contact and didn't show any of the emotions I hoping to see on her face.

"Stop..." I mumbled, but it didn't even reach her ear.

"The man had his escaped from his sin, and my friend was gradually healing from her pain, believing that the man had already paid all of his sheme," tuloy niya pa kaya napayuko ako at kinagat ang labi. Why is she telling me all of this? "Let's make a fast forward. After almost two decade, that mad man had caused another chaos again, and you know what my friend did when she met that man again?" she inquired that I didn't bother to answer. But I did my best to meet her gaze and tightened my lips. "What? Bakit hindi mo masagot? It's the most easiest question I've ever given you, Alice," she innocently said before she grinned.
