"Alice!" I almost cover my ears as I heard Thea screech using her thin voice. We've finally arrive safely at the evacuation using what Ali have learned from Matt's about flying the airplane. Habang pababa kami sa hagdanan katabi siya ay kasama naman ni Thea sina Jean, Drew at Gwyn na pasalubong sa amin. "Oh my g! Namiss ko kayo!" Thea expressed and hugs us immediately.

"Hindi halata," pang-aasar ni Drew sa babae kaya mabilis na humiwalay si Thea mula sa pagkakayakap sa amin ni Ali at walang awang sinabunutan si Drew. Napailing ako habang napapansin ang pagiging malapit ng dalawa. "Aray! Ano ba!"

"Thea, tama na," pigil naman ni Jean sa kaibigan habang napunta naman ang paningin ko kay Gwyn na tahimik pa rin at pinagmamasdan lang ang mga evacuees na dumadaan sa tabi namin. She's still quite and aloof to us.

"Kamusta? Natagpuan mo na ba ang pamilya mo?" balin ni Thea sa 'kin at umiling lang ako sa kanya. Mabilis naman napalitan ang masayang mukha niya ng lungkot kaya nagsalita na ako mula sa mahabang pananahimik.

"I didn't find them. But I find an old colleagues," I said instead. Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Thea habang naguluhan naman si Jean at Drew sa sinabi ko. Sumulyap sa gawi namin si Gwyn pero umiwas ulit. "I'll discuss this to you after I visited Timo, okay?" sabi ko pa.

"Samahan ka na lang namin-"

"No. I can manage," I objected Drew's offer. Saglit ko lang sinulyapan si Gwyn na hindi man lang kami tinapunan ng tingin. Right up 'till now she still didn't change. I walked to my right and proceed to reach the nursery room. I still remember it so all I did is to join the medical staffs passes each other by. My eyes stay longer at their medical clothes and my own reflection wearing nurse clothes suddenly appeared on my mind.

I stopped before I even reach my way. "Why are you following me?" I turned around and look Ali who's scratching his nape now. "Didn't you hear what I've said?" I coldly asked him while different people passes us.

"Misis kasi..." mukhang nahihiya niyang sabi. Didn't he remember how he changed his own self earlier and it almost made me go insane just to deal his another persona?

"Stop following me," utos ko rito at bago ko siya talikuran ay nahuli ko pa ang pagdaan ng lungkot sa mukha niya. I wanna be alone right now. But why do I feel some guilt just by seeing him hurted by my words?

Hindi ko napansin na nakatingin na pala ulit ako sa kanya. He's walking now while his back facing me, he's like a kid who's being scolded just how he dragged his feet back to my colleagues. I take a deep breath and put away the guilt inside me. I know he's experiencing a serious trauma and split personality right now but I also have to deal all my problems and burden. And my only way to at least ease this feeling is to see him.

"You're already here..." hindi makapaniwalang sabi ni Doctor Cruise habang pinipirmahan ang dala ng assistant nurse niya. "How was it? Did you find them?" she asked the same question as she gets near to me and look at Timo too, who's currently sleeping right now. He really likes to sleep.

Umiling ako habang nasa sanggol pa rin ang mga mata. "Looks like destiny don't want me to meet them until now," baling ko sa katabi ko na mataman ding nakamasid kay Timothy. Natulala ako habang naglalaro sa isipan ko kung ano nang posibleng nangyari sa pamilya ko.

"Maybe... but maybe not," she said then I faced her. "You know the saying the less you expect things the more it will happen?" I nodded and wait for her next word. She's not just a doctor but also a logical women who almost knows how things do work. "Don't expect to meet them, and destiny will finally lead you to them." she ended and tap my shoulder before she leave when one of her nurses called her.
