I was lulled out of my sleep by my alarm sounding signalling the very day I had been building up to so i cancelled my alarm got up and headed downstairs for breakfast and once i had my breakfast and gotten a drink i headed into the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth then i headed upstairs and took a deep breath in and began putting on my new uniform once my uniform was on and my hair was done nice and neatly and i checked my bag to ensure I had everything i needed and i still had time to spare so i quickly replied to a few good luck messages from mine and masons other best friend dec who was starting at a different high school today (dec chair🪑) morning lynds best of luck with your first day you'll smash it say hey to mase for me see ya soon x
(Brown bear🐻 ) thanks dec have a good day an all nd will do c ya soon x i then checked the time and grabbed my coat and took my phone off charge and then i went downstairs and my parents didn't even acknowledge me or say were proud of me I took the obligatory first day at school in my new uniform photos and then i walked out the door and headed 15 minutes up the road to Masons house where it was a completely different atmosphere to mine as i was  the only child in the household mason however was the youngest of four Charlotte and Nicole best known as Nikki and Lottie Masons two older sisters who were at college and His older brother Ryan who was headed into his first day of year 11 so he was getting ready for work experience instead and as I approached the mount household I couldn't help but begin to wonder weather or not it was a good idea to knock on the door and I had debated about just texting Mason from outside despite masons house feeling more like my home than the one I currently had.But you knocked anyway knowing grace would need back up as mason was rather fond of his sleep and got a tad grumpy when he was woken up much to his siblings delight as this is what usually causes fights between the mount children and the only one who never caught masons wrath was me so I walked to the war zone currently known as Masons house. Morning grace sleeping beauty not graced us with his presence yet then. Oh lynds look how grown up you look goodness it seems like only yesterday you and masey were stood here in your first set of school uniforms I was dropping you both off at the gate I'm so proud of how far you've come you feel like an another daughter Aww thanks grace I'll go and wake sir sleepy up then shall I and I head up the stairs grace laughing as i climb up the stairs automatically knowing when I've reached masons room as the door is painted royal blue and there's football stickers all over the door with Masons room in white letters and before entering his room i gently knocked and announced my arrival.

MASON TONY MOUNT YOU HAVE 5 minutes to get your backside downstairs and you had better have your uniform on if you aren't down these stairs in full uniform and a packed school bag your not having any football time this week and I don't care if you don't get as long in the shower if you get up on time you can have your shower properly i heard being yelled up the stairs by mum.ugh i place a pillow over my head just five minutes more of sleep to face 6 hours of awful school just as my eyes drift shut i hear a gentle tapping at my door "mase it's me are you ready " comes the kind gentle voice of my  best friend lynds. ugh why can't i just hit rewind and go back to sleep with that my bedroom door opens and lynds walks in with her long brunette hair swept neatly into a ponytail and her crisp straight out of the wardrobe uniform worn perfectly with brand new leather shoes looking immaculate ready for the next chapter of her school life.Good morning mase you really need to wake up now your mum will go mad at you if she finds out you haven't even gotten out of bed yet come on I'll lay out your uniform in order for you so all you need to do is get In the shower wash yourself dry yourself then get in to your uniform I've got you your coco pops already so by the time you've had your shower and come downstairs the milk will be chocolatey the way you like it and I've poured out your milkshake so hop to it you but lyyyyynddddds I'm tiiiieeeerrrrddddd mason says snuggling tighter into his duvet and pillows
I know masey this is why our mums wanted us to get earlier nights towards the end of the holidays so we could avoid situations like this now you have 2 seconds to get up and in the shower or I rip off your lovely warm duvet and it's a cold bucket bath for you now what would you prefer
okay okay I'm up geez your just as bad as nikki and Lottie sometimes haha shut up mount and go shower and I'll see you downstairs lynds teases you love me really before poking her tongue out before leaving my room for you to shower If only you knew you thought you've known i had feelings for lynds since i very first met her and it had taken all my strength not to pull her into my lap and kiss her and i loved how she made me feel better by just a hug or comforting words and with that i took a big breath in and stretched and got up and went into my shower the perks of being a large family all the kids had their own bathrooms to avoid the shower fight's especially with Nikki and Lottie
And my footballing i knew sometimes i would need a lengthy shower process and so i turned my shower on and stepped in washing all over and washing my hair and once this was done I stepped out and dried myself and then got into my uniform and did my hair and grabbing my school bag i headed downstairs to join lynds and the rest of the mounts who were busy with their morning routines my sister Nikki first noticed me and came straight Over and hugged me saying ahh little baby mase all grown up now and she ruffles my hair ahhh Nikki don't ruffle my hair I don't do that to you for gods sakes ooo moody mase.Mum will you say something i whine Nicole don't tease him and then my brother ryan joins in by saying wow bro awake before 8 and its not
Even a match day when did the aliens give you your transplant Ryan don't start on mason please ohh shut up ryan if it was aliens I hope next time they come back For you you and give you some brains back i spit back at Ryan BOYS THATS ENOUGH HONESTLY grace shouts aww mase my darling you look so mature and handsome I'm so proud of you and mum gave me a hug and a quick peck on the cheek right now your awake eat your breakfast quickly and then go and brush your teeth and then I want photos of you and lynds please I roll my eyes yes mum i finish my. breakfast and milkshake and then head upstairs to brush my teeth and before i take my phone off charge you send a text to mine and lynds best friend dec (Dec o ration ⚽️ )heya dec good luck with your new school see ya down field soon bro wanna practice penalty taking and free kicks 👟 M

And then I took my phone off charge and a quick sort out of my hair after Nikki ruffled it i headed backdown stairs for photos and then before i knew it would be time for me and lynds to walk to school right I think I've gotten enough pics of you both mum says with tears in her eyes and showing you the results and lynds asking for one of her and you with her arm around your waist and your arm around her waist both smiling and once mum placed a kiss on lynds's head and helped me sort my school tie out and telling me and lynds that she hopes we settle in well and have a good day you both grabbed your bags head out the door and began walking to school.
