Since I'd fallen asleep so early I'd actually woken up before my alarm and luckily lynds was still asleep so I stretched my arms and got out of bed and tucked lynds back up and placed a kiss to her cheek and went downstairs and made my coco pops and a coffee and then I headed back upstairs for a shower and I wash my body and hair and I then i got out of the shower and got into a long sleeve and a Chelsea T-shirt and Chelsea jogging bottoms and I headed back downstairs and I sat at the table and had my breakfast and my coffee and then I went up and washed my face shaved and brushed my teeth and grabbed my hoodie and wrote lynds a quick note good morning beautiful I've gone to cobham if you need ANYTHING TEXT ME i love you 3 so very much all my love forever mason xxxx and I got into the car and headed for cobham and I was the first to arrive and so I set up the exact exercises I knew lamps would be getting the boys doing today and then I headed inside for a another coffee and a few ground staff say mase what you doing here lamps give you boys the weekend off so why aren't you in bed like a normal person and I said two of our youngsters think it's big and clever to get themselves red cards and mouth off at lamps so they earned weekend training and a 5 match bench seat and fines and a wage dock and given the way they spoke to lamps yesterday I didn't trust them in fact i still don't so if they aren't here I'm going to be a personal taxi and oh how I hope that doesn't happen and the grounds staff say yikes you definitely mean business don't ya mase ehh and I say yep not having lamps spoken to like that not while I am around to hear it and soon enough my ears alert me to a car pulling in to the car park and I look up from my coffee and say and speaking of my legendary hero he's just arrived and a few minutes later Frank walked over and say jeez mase you're really being a taskmaster on them two ain't ya and I said what ever it takes to get those two in line lamps and Frank said and I thought I was harsh but fair enough and I said I'm not standing by and watching two privileged brats walk around here and the bridge like they fucking own it Chelsea is yours and i will not let anyone destroy it or your reputation and respect while I have air in my lungs and Frank puts his hand on my shoulder and says feel better for that little rant mase and I say maybe and I hope they apologise properly rather than a grumbled sorry and frank says I'm sure you won't let them leave until they do and I say you are correct lamps and frank says right you have you finished your coffee and I say yep all done and Frank says right mate go warm up with alternative laps okay and I say okay and I head off and do my laps and I stretch in between and then do my hip warm ups and then stretch my legs out again and then begin doing ball control targeting and lamp's said easy Mase remember it's not your punishment and i said I know boss don't worry I'll take it easy and I look down at my watch and see it's 8:15 and I say oh dear wage dock increase and lamps says yeah and your warm enough now mase so I'm gonna go and get them and I said oooo to be a fly on your car walls and lamps said mase play nicely now and I say I'll try can't promise anything though and Frank laughed and rolled his eyes and said he'll be a few minutes and I said okay and did a another lap and then began hitting the balls in to the net and a few minutes later frank says having fun and I say yeah just adjusting my goal targeting and Frank says you never have a break do you your not technically supposed to be training you little sod and I say hey anyway I can ensure we cleanly secure the points then I'll do it and soon we're interrupted by the harsh stomping of studs against the tarmac path and lamps says right get your laps started you two and Zac says what about mason he's here too and Frank says yes to help me out he's already done his warm up and set up the exercises and he's going to be my assistant since he knows how to handle himself on my pitches and he's already giving up his weekend to help me out so do as your told and laps now around both pitches and the boys roll their eyes and begin their lap and I say lamps and frank says yes mase and I say was that weird for you to say and frank says was what weird for me to say and I say that I know how to handle myself and frank says oooh yeah point made well we will have to quote that in the Chelsea year book and we both laughed and Zac and Leo are told to do some exercises and Zac says but i don't know how to do that frank and Frank says let me show you then and Leo says if I can be with mason and frank says nope no one other than me is partnering mason today so partner with each other and copy what me and mason do and me and frank look at each other and nod and we spin past the mannequins I'd set up and we both scored and Leo and Zac both missed and I said you let your egos get involved and it stopped your focus stop being cocky and focus on the reason why you're here your professional footballers and try behaving like them we aren't on the school's playing field anymore so don't behave like we still are and frank said right get the ball into the net over the defenders shoulders and the two boys both say that's an impossible shot and frank is it and I curl the ball over the boys shoulders and the mannequin and into the net and Zac says how and Frank said mason focused on two things the goal and the ball which is what you are supposed to be doing and then lamps makes them do a a few more tougher exercises and they both say how much longer are we going to be here for and Frank says until I decide when we finish and they both groan now carry on and they go off and three hours later Frank says right Zac Leo mason come here I jog over and stand behind Zac and Leo and frank says you've completed your weekend training session now you have a 5 match bench suspension and your wages docked which will now increase due to me collecting you this morning now do not make me do this again or I'll reconsider your places in the squad do i make my self clear and the young boys both said yes frank and he said good now I'll drop you off at home and I will expect you here ON TIME on Monday morning now stretch out and then shower and change and the boys head off stretching and frank says really do appreciate your help today mase and I say my pleasure as captain I have to make sure the squad has the right attitude and those two aren't currently displaying it and frank says no they aren't and I said I just can't believe they have the honour of wearing the blue kit and being trained by a living god and that's how they treat you and your badge it's dang right rude and frank says I just hope they've learned something from today and I say if they haven't I'm definitely delivering them back to Jody myself act like a kid play on the kids team then it's simple really and franks says oooh they have hit a nerve ehh come on you shower and get home I'll see you Monday and I say see you Monday boss and I head off for a shower like I'd do after training and I wash my hair quickly and put moose into it so it's really fluffy and I change into my joggers and T-shirt and hoodie and then I hear my phone chime with a text so I opened it to see who it was and it was lynds (mrs mount 👸) Hiya gorgeous hope the youngsters behaved okay and they are still alive 🤭 can you please bring home some chocolate milk and white and some m&ms and smarties me and mum are on a baking mission love you lots baby see you soon xxxx i instantly replied (mr mount 🔐) hi baby and the lads still think they're bigger than their boots but hopefully the lampard lashing has done the trick and of course darling and yummy sounds delicious okay will grab it now and see you soon and I love you too baby xxxx and i put my phone in my pocket and headed to the supermarket for the chocolate and in the chocolate isle I heard a familiar voice that said umm mason that's not good for your diet is it and I look up and say hello Ryder how are you doing and Chris says hi mason sorry for my delightful child's conversational skills and I chuckle it's alright chris and hey I can't blame my mum and my wife if they're baking amazing sweet treats that's what the gym and training burns off and Ryder says I was joking mason I promise you deserve it after your game the other day I was so happy for you your a great captain by the way and say aww thanks Ryder and chris says are you going to tell Mason your news and I say ooo sounds exciting and Ryder says yeah umm I'm trying out at the Chelsea academy and we're moving to Surrey and I say aww that's amazing congratulations Ryder I'm really happy for you when do you join and he says Monday isn't dad and Chris says yeah your first days Monday and I say aww I'm at cobham on Monday I'll come over and say hello and he says thanks mason and I say anything I can help with Chris give me a shout and Chris says rein this rodent in to line he's been buzzing about joining Chelsea all week  and I say keep that enthusiasm Ryder but don't let football take over from school work okay I was like that when I was younger and it's not clever okay and Ryder says I promise I'm being good but Mason I've never been so excited for a Monday before and we all chuckled and I said aww well have the best time moving in and can't wait to see you at cobham in your own Chelsea kit and I hi five Ryder and Chris said god I'm glad Ryder has picked Kai and you as his favourite players your a fantastic role model and to re use the words of my son a fabulous captain he's never forgotten the day you took him back to meet Kai and he got Kai's shirt and had a kick about with him and I said aww thank you that's why I do what I do if I can give one fan a minute of happiness that's all that matters to me so it's my pleasure and Chris said keep being you mason and hope your family is well and I said yeah they are and we're going to be going through it all over again soon since lynds is expecting our second baby and Chris said aww wow mason that's wonderful congratulations and I said thank you well if there's anything I can do to help please let me know and I'll do it and chris said your too kind mason cheers and he said right Ryder have you decided on what you want and he said just some raspberry laces and m&ms please dad and Chris picked them up and said hmm I wonder why you've picked m&ms right let's leave poor mason to do his shopping and you can see him on Monday and Ryder said yeah i still can't believe it please pinch me dad and we all laughed and ryder says bye mason and I say see you ryder and heads off with his dad and I grabbed the chocolates and the sweets and a little bag of haribo for Blake and then paid for them and headed back home and when I walked in the door I was greeted by the smell of warm chocolate in the air and I said mmmm I was right smells delicious in here and lynds said hello baby yeah we've been busy and I said so I see I would have been back earlier but I was caught up with a fellow blue and lynds said who's that baby and I said Ryder is trialling over at the academy and he's just moved to Surrey and lynds said aww bless that's exciting for him and I said yeah I promised him I'd go over and watch his trial and I'll probably take Kai over as well and lynds says ooh he'll love that baby and I say speaking off babies Chris passed on his congratulations on this one as I wrapped my arm over lynds's slight bump and she says aw bless and i say and how has our little girl been and lynds says she's been fine we've had a few episodes of Mickey Mouse clubhouse and cuddles in bed now we're napping off our bottle and I say aww bless her and I say here are the requested chocolates for you and mum says aww thanks love and I say no worries and a few minutes later blake comes in muddy and runs up to me and says uncle mason I've been down the park with mummy and I scored like you did just not as many and I say aww that's cool buddy tell you what why don't you let mummy run you a bath and get all clean and then you can tell uncle mason about your goals okay but while mummy runs your bath shall we do some drawing and Blake says yeah okay uncle mase and we sit at the table and we do some drawings and Blake tells me all about his goals and I say aww uncle mason's proud of you Blake and as promised here's a packet of sweets for being a good boy At uncle Mason's football game the other day and Blake says aww thank you uncle mason and i say your welcome buddy and Nikki says right you bath time you can see uncle mason in a bit and Blake says aww okay mummy and Blake is taken upstairs and I pack away the art stuff and lynds says dinner will be ready in a few seconds love and I say okay darling and I head upstairs to drop my coat off and my shoes and then I head back downstairs and lynds brings in my tea and I said wow baby this looks amazing and smells delicious too and I say thanks baby and thanks mum and I tuck in and mum says welcome love and a short while later i finish my plate and mum says enjoy that love and I said of course it was cooked by two of my favourite women and mum says aww bless you love and lynds says wait for your pasta to settle baby and then you can have some brownies and I say yumm look forward to those and then Blake comes back down and says I'm all bathed and ready for bed uncle mase and I said good boy now i want to hear all about these goals you scored with mummy down at the park and Blake told me all about his goals and said mummy says I looked just like you uncle masey maybe it's my top and he grabbed the badge and kissed it like I did and I say it could be buddy yeah but hi five when uncle mason isn't working again and if he's got a morning training session I'll take you down and we can have a kick about yeah and Blake says yes please uncle mason and I said alright and he yawned and said I can't wait I'm so excited and I said and your also really sleepy too so come on I'll make you a warm milk and I'll tuck you up and I go into the kitchen and make blake his warm milk and put it in his bottle and he yawns again and says but I'm not sleepy uncle mase while rubbing his eyes and I say oh really and I picked him up and lynds gave him a kiss and said Night night Blake sleep tight and I carried Blake up stairs and into his room and I gently lowered him down and he drank his milk and said see I'm not tired at all through hooded eyes and I said oh but if you don't sleep you won't be strong enough to play football with uncle mason or grow nice and tall and he settled himself down against his pillow and he said ok I'll try and sleep and i said uncle Mase will stay with you until you fall asleep okay and blake let's out a final yawn and said okay uncle mase and then a few minutes later he lets out soft gentle breaths and I whisper night night buddy see you in the morning and I pulled his duvet up over him and tucked in his teddy bear and left his room with his door a jar and I said that's blake all settled and I popped in to check bree who was also sound asleep and I adjusted her blankets and I said daddy loves you baby sleep tight and then I headed back downstairs and sat down beside lynds and two little one's sound asleep and Nikki comes in with a glass of appleade and says how do you do that mase your like a child whisperer and I said haha sorry sis if he plays you up remind him that uncle mason won't buy him his sweeties and ice cream or play football and see what he does and she said notes were made and she says your such a good dad mase im so proud of you and I say aw your a fantastic mum too nikki and mum comes in and says and I believe you were promised a brownie after your tea mason and I said oooh yeah and I licked my lips and said can I have some whipped cream and chocolate sauce please mum and she said goodness me mason you and your sweet tooth and said i know but hey I'm appreciating my mum's and my incredible wife's baking delights and she said oh mason and I got my cream and sauce and I ate my brownies and I began to yawn and mum said and i think it's time for you to follow Blake and get your self into bed aswell mr and I said yeah im gonna head up now mum and lynds says night mum night nikk enjoy your actual wine when I've gone to bed and she said i feel bad drinking alcohol around you and how on earth did you know that I was drinking alcohol free drinks and she said this little ones given me super smell haven't they and she softly stroked her bump and Nikki said I'm signing you up for the x force babes jeez and we all laughed and mum said mason bed for you and i said yeah sorry mum and i kissed her cheek and said see you in the morning night and mum said night love's sleep well and me and lynds both went upstairs and walked over to our bed and Lynds got into bed and got comfortable and I took my top off and my joggers followed and I then too got into bed and settled down and my hand drifted down to lynds's stomach and I drew a few soft circles on it and then I placed a kiss on Lynds lips and said good night my darling and sleep tight little one i love you both so very much and fell asleep
