No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't feel happy about training nothing about it felt good and I felt myself becoming more and more caught up in my emotions and It's almost like I felt my self turning into glass and I could feel all the cracks appearing a few times I heard Kai say hey mase you good bro and I'd simply blank him and Chris would call out an instruction and I would just look at What everyone else was doing to make sure I was doing the right exercise and I just felt the pressure building and I just couldn't do any more and I just ran despite hearing who I think was timo running behind saying bro wait and I'm also guessing the second voice as kai saying leave him he deserves some time and space and I run to the back pitch where it's away from everybody and I send call and I hear franks voice drifting through the speakers and he says mase talk to me Mate come on it's okay what's happened Your scarring me and I respond with I just don't want to train with out you which I know makes me pathetic but I can't gel with Chris I'm trying lamps you have to believe me that I'm trying but I'm done I'm so fucking done and frank said hey mase breathe with me nice and slow it's okay you can do this it's alright tell me what you can see around you describe it to me yeah and I try and focus on franks words and I say umm I can see the advertising banners and umm there's a net less goal and there's loads of leaves in the corner and umm there's lights on and franks voice soon says good lad mase well done you are doing fantastically and he says right now tell me about the texture of your clothes and I say umm they are kinda silky and they are soft and soggy from my tears and i start crying harder and i hear a gentle hey mase it's fine your okay your doing really well I'm so proud of you keep doing the nice deep slow breathing in through your mouth out and holding it before releasing it through your nose and I do this for a bit and I slur out a mmm feeling dizzy and tired and franks says okay mase have you got any water with you and I say yeah I do it's in a bottle though and frank says that's okay it doesn't really matter just take some small sips for me okay and I do as I am told and i feel better and frank said right got some water in your system and I nod and say yeah don't feel dizzy now and Frank says good well done mase you have done so well I'm really proud of you yeah you were so brave are you feeling a little bit better now and I say still don't wanna train and Frank replied with that's okay go and see lynds and tell her you can do individual training or you can have Kai or timo as a partner or both training with you and I said okay can't wait for you to get back though this really is shit and Frank laughed and said I know mase and ooo language young man and I laughed lightly and said you sounded like such a dad then and Frank said I am a dad to you lot half the time and your starting to make me feel like one with you all growing up getting married and having children of your own and I said thanks lamps Please pass this course and come home I hate it and frank replied with I'm working on it mase i promise you okay stay strong for me and your wonderful wife and your little ones yeah and I'll see you soon but if you need me I'm here day or night okay but if you need anything just pick up the phone okay promise me mase yes lamps I will I promise and Frank says yes what and I said yes dad I will good lad now go and see lynds and stay out of trouble young man please otherwise you won't get any m&ms from me for a week and I say okay i promise and then I say bye to Frank and I end the call and just sit and tuck my legs up on the bench in the small dugout and just rest my head against the side and let the tears quietly fall so I could get the worst of them out and then when I'm a little bit calmer I make my way to lynds's office despite still having a few hours of training left i just couldn't bear training and I eventually reached the main building and headed in to lynds's office to stay close to her and I just sat on her office sofa and occasionally sniffed but watched her work and I was watching her stroke the side of her bump so I guessed Archie was either moving or kicking and I thought about when I could possibly be going through this with him if he had a good relationship with his favourite person and they were away I was getting really excited about meeting Archie so I did all I could to focus on that feeling instead until lynds said right form done training set up for you four my work here is done now you have my undivided attention and we make our way to the car to carry out our plans that we had made and I just let the day's events slowly melt away and just enjoy the time with lynds god I was so grateful for her
