The day started out like always with my alarm going off and I reached out to grab my phone and I cancelled it and I put on my T-shirt and I head downstairs and I'm greeted by Blake who says good morning uncle mase and I said morning buddy you okay and Blake says yeah i get to play football today and I said aw that's exciting uncle mase will have to come and see you play soon won't he and Blake said oh yes please uncle mase and I said well train really hard okay and Blake said i will promise and I said good boy now have your breakfast like a good boy and he runs up and sits at the table and I fill the kettle and boil it and I make Blake his breakfast and his milk and take it into him and he said thank you uncle mase and I said good boy and your welcome buddy and then the kettle finishes boiling and I fill my mug with coffee and make my drink and then I make myself some coco pops and then I sit on the sofa and eat my breakfast and have my coffee and have a scroll through my social media and then lynds comes down with bree on her hip and says morning gorgeous and gives me a kiss and I say good morning baby and I take Bree from her so she can go and make herself a cup of tea and some breakfast and when she is done she comes and sits beside me and has her cup of tea and then she has her breakfast and I say do I or don't I have another coffee and I say mmm yeah why not i think I will have another before I get ready and I have my drink and then when I'm feeling slightly more awake I take my mug out and wash it out and I popped it into the dishwasher and made my way upstairs and into the bathroom and headed into the shower and I started my shower routine and then I got out and sorted out my teeth before drying myself properly and then getting dressed and ready for training and grabbing a apple to eat aswell and then I headed up to pack my bag with fresh clothes for after training and then lynds pops up and gets into the shower and then comes down all dressed and ready and with Archie who's also dressed in a little Chelsea tracksuit and I say aww look at you little man so handsome aren't you ehh and I pack our snack boxes and drinks into our bags while lynds makes up the kids bags with their drinks and outfit changes and nappies and wipes and once that's done I say right off to training and just as I put my jacket on mine and lynds phone chime in sync so I instantly knew it was a group chat message and I opened my phone to see what it was (frank 🏆) morning lads I'm not going to be at cobham this week as I need to do a part of my coaching license and I'm not allowed to be at my own team due to the risk of being biased so jody is going to be taking the training for the week and I don't want any shit from anyone those who do step out of line will find themselves on the bench and will be fined as appropriate do I make myself clear gents (mason 🔵) yes boss good luck don't train them too hard 😁 (king Kai 👑) Yep have fun 😊 (turbo timo🌪️) pocket and we made our way to the training centre and I pulled into my bay and parked the car and headed into the building and after putting mine and lynds snack boxes in the fridge i then made my way back to her office and I popped my head around the door and said need anything before I head over to the canteen and briefing and she said no I'm okay baby I went in and gave her a kiss or two until she said the kisses are lovely baby but you don't want to be late for training and I placed a few more kisses on her lips and said one more for luck and she said fine but after that go and I gave her a quick kiss and a final hug and I said okay I'm all set for training now have a good day baby see you later and she said have fun too babe and I walk into the canteen and find timo propped up against the wall and him falling asleep and Kai quietly holding on to a piece of toast that had a thick coating of jam and inevitably timo fell asleep and fell into the toast and due to the impact of the drop timo woke up with the toast still stuck to his cheek and Kai took a picture and put his phone away before Timo could grab it and I said oh dear bro bad night with Freya and he yawns and nods at the same time and I said I promise you bro it will get better and timo said well hopefully it's soon I'm shattered and i passed him a wipe and he wiped his face off and I said well that could have been worse it could have been weetabix or ready break or something and timo said true and he got him self a coffee and a fresh piece of toast and he ate it whilst Kai had some cut up fruit and yogurt and then we sit and chat until we head over to the briefing room and Jody said Danny yep flynn yep Alex yep Kai yep kepa yep timo ermm just about by the looks of things and timo said bad night with the baby and Jody said oh dear and timo said yeah once I've finished this coffee and warmed up I'll be good and Jody said it's fine it's nothing too strenuous today just passing and controlling and spotting and Jody said and the best till last mase and I say heya jody and Jody said right match tomorrow so you guys know what you are doing so therefore I shouldn't have to tell you much so we will start on the pitch then head in to the gym and he said so gents off you go with your laps and we all jog off and timo said see now I'm outside and moving I'm awake but I can't wait to get home and sleep and I said yeah nothing beats a good training session and then going home and grabbing a nap and we finish off our laps and then we start our drills and we work through our training plan and then Jody's blowing the whistle and right gents into the gym and we all head in after washing our boots and then changing into our trainers and getting started on the gym portion of training and before we know it jody is saying wow great work today gents your looking great now into recovery and then off home for plenty of rest ready for the match tomorrow and I will see you tomorrow morning sleep well fellas and we headed to physio for our massages and post training checks and then when we're all done we headed into the shower and timo said yes we're done and I'm so happy and I let out a laugh and I finished my shower and got changed and sat down next to Kai and said hey bro how are you doing with wedding prep since it's getting closer and Kai said yeah all good bro just got the small things to sort out and confirm now so yeah I'm just really getting excited now and I said aww can't wait it's here before you know it and the day is over so quickly and kai said we'll be too drunk so I'm not bothered by how fast the day goes I'm mainly focusing on my English for the vows and speech and I said you will be fine and I'm more than happy to help you with your English for your vows and speeches and Kai said cheers Mase appreciate it so much and I say no worries see you tomorrow and I head off to the kitchen and grab my smoothie and head to Lynds office and I heard her on the phone so I waited for her to finish and then I knocked on the door and I said hello baby and she said you could have just come in gorgeous and I said you were on the phone it's not my place to interrupt you when you are busy and she said baby I was only checking on Kai's wedding staff for him and I say oh great minds think alike baby I'm helping him with his English and she said yeah he'll get there bless him and I said shall we get back as jody has ordered us to get plenty of rest for tomorrow and lynds replies with sounds great and she began closing her work files and logging out of her computer and then closing her blinds and she packed everything away and she turned off her lights and locked up her office and we made our way home and we pulled up onto the drive and after parking the car we headed into the house and mum said perfect timing guys just dishing up some spaghetti bolognaise and I said awh yeah and we sit down at the table and lynds says it's rather quiet and mum says yeah I sent nikki and Lottie out to get some strawberries so I can make a cake and they took the kids with them but they should be on the way home now and sure enough in comes nikki pushing Archie and Lottie with bree and Nikki said I know I've said it before but we're swapping sons because ugh Archie is a dream and I laughed and said nope sorry sis but you always know that if uncle mase is needed all you need to do is ask and Nikki said I just reckon it's cause your the cool one and you can do fancy things that he can tell everybody about so that's all Blake cares about and mummy can't compete with that and I said ahh but i can also stop those nice things if he's acting up and misbehaving it's not fair on you nik and she said ugh love you so much little brother but I'm not giving up my nephew just yet and I said okay and then mum brings in the spaghetti bolognaise and we eat that and she makes the cake and say's should be ready to eat by the time your done eating and I've no doubt had baths and I said I'm excited already and mum said thought you might be and we finished eating and we did the dishes and then we headed to have our baths and showers and just like mum said the smell of freshly baked cake and warm jam filled the house and I licked my lips and mum said almost done and i said it's smelling so good and when it had cooled down enough mum dished us up some and we ate it and I said okay let's get our snack boxes and bottles washed out and ready for the morning and we do that and mum Said anything you want washed up love so it's fresh and ready for the morning and I said nope everything i want is in the machine anyway same with lynds and she said okay love and I head upstairs and brush my teeth and wash my face and then we get everything ready for putting bree and Archie to bed and then I head downstairs and help lynds and then once the little ones are in bed and asleep we head downstairs and I have a few glasses of water and then I say right I'm heading up to bed been told to get plenty of rest for the match and mum said night love see you in the morning and with a hug for us both we head up to bed and we get comfortable in bed and put on a film until I begin to yawn and lynds says okay time for bed and with our alarms set and a kiss followed by our I love yous i gently pull lynds into my chest and then fall asleep until our alarms are doing their job and lulling us out of sleep and i wake up and cancel my alarm and lynds says I wanna do a you and stay in bed because this is pure heaven and I say mmmm I'd love that too tell you what why don't you stay in bed and I'll bring up our drinks and breakfast and we'll start the day in bed and lynds said I'd love that baby but come here first and she kisses me and I say making it really difficult for me to leave this bed now baby and she says then don't and she wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me over her body and I say okay I'm convinced I'm grabbing breakfast at cobham and I deepen the kisses and before I know it Bree begins stirring quickly followed by Archie and lynds says well we still have Time for a shower if we take it together and I say baby I love the way you think and lynds pulls me into the shower and we carry on with what we are doing and when we are finished I get out first and get dressed then I carry Bree downstairs and change her and give her some breakfast while I have my breakfast and coffee and then lynds comes down also dressed and carrying Archie and she too gets him clean and gives him a bottle and then when I've finished my coffee and breakfast and giving bree her breakfast I take the bowls into the kitchen and wash them out and then make up mine and lynd's smoothie and snack boxes and the spare ones for Kai and timo and I packed them in my bag and then I grabbed my bag and put my change of clothes and then my snack box and Kai's and timos and my drinks and lynds came down with her bag and she said right baby I'm all set and I said yep me too and I said see you guys later on okay and mum said bye love and see you later and with our coats on we got in the car and headed for cobham and we arrived a short while later and we parked in my bay and I gave lynds a kiss and said see you later baby and she said see you in a bit gorgeous give the boys my love and I said i will and I headed into the locker room and changed into my training kit and then headed into the canteen and I saw jody sat planning the match and I grabbed a apple and a coffee and said morning jods and he said ahh mase hello you and morning and I say you alright and he says yeah be glad to hand you boys over though god almighty this is stressful working out teams of who's starting who's subs it's a lot easier with the kids since they don't play as much and I say ahh you've done great Jods and it's been nice training with you again and Jody said aw cheers mase appreciate that mate been nice training you again forgotten how much of a hard worker you are and I said thanks jods and then Kai timo Danny and Alex and Flynn arrived closely followed by kepa and the rest followed soon after and Jody said right good morning gentlemen today I want best behaviour because it's not me your representing it's the club okay just because you are premier league players don't play above the other team you have all been in lower and quieter leagues before so remember where you were before you got here and we all say yes jody and he said thank you right go get your selves ready and on the bus to head to the stadium and we all head off and get ready and then we all head to the bus and Jody says goal keeper check forwards yep midfielders check defenders check pa check brill all in one piece right next thing to achieve arrive at the bridge and soon enough the bus starts leaving for the bridge and some of us are laughing and joking with each other others are having a quick nap and then jody said right fellas we're here and the bus starts pulling in to the bridge and we start the message to wake those sleeping and we all started gathering our belongings and we made our way off the bus and we greeted the fans that were waiting for us and we headed into our dressing room and Jody said right gents the starting lads are kepa kai kian Shane joey Danny flynn Alex timo mason with mason as captain okay any issues and we all say nope and Jody said good right out and get warm  and we head out and complete our warm up and we then change into our match kit and I said jody me and lynds are just popping up to my box to check in with the little ones and Jody said yeah okay mase see you two in a sec and we quickly head up to my box and I said hey mum got a few seconds before kick off so just checking in that everything is all good and mum said yep everything is fine love you looking forward to the game and I said yeah I'm excited to show the other team what they can achieve one day through hard work and mum said yeah just don't be too clever you okay and I said I won't mum I'll see you later okay and i give Bree and Archie a kiss and lynds did the same and then we head back down and I put my captains armband on and we walked into the tunnel and then we get the signal to walk out and we head out to the pitch and then I shake hands with the derby captain and then the match begins and we start with possession and we get the ball out towards our goal and Kai goes to shoot and he is blocked but I catch the rebound and I get the ball in the net so we lead 1-0 and the bridge roars with cheers and we keep possession of the ball and I find a line and it remains clear and I flick the ball and it finds the net again and my team bundle me and I kiss the badge and then we carry on the game and then the ref blows the whistle to signal half time and we head in to have our legs checked and our half time refuel snacks and drinks and Jody says you lads are playing really nice I'm really impressed now we need to go out and get either a couple more goals or keep the lead and just defend okay and we say yeah let's do this and derby have the ball and then Danny wins the ball and Flynn receives it and shoots and the ball ends up in the bottom corner and I say nicely done well done and flynn says ahh thanks mase and then I gain the ball and I kick it and the ball slides into the side net and i hear the cheers and I say yeah come on chels and then the referee blows the whistle and we all celebrated and I broke away and found the derby captain and he said boy am I glad that's over never felt so sick in my life and I said aww you played brilliantly and you should be proud of yourself and your team I know it's scary coming to a big stadium like the bridge and he said you are a amazing player your goals were amazing and I said aw thank you I appreciate that and he said no worries hopefully we can play here again soon this stadium is really nice isn't it and I say it's one of my favourite places in the world always has been and always will be and I say hopefully see you back here soon and we shake hands and I give him my shirt and then we go our separate ways and then we all start making our way to the tunnels when i hear a voice say that was a great thing you've done during the match I'm proud of you and I turned around I saw lamps sat in the away dugout and I said lamps omg when did you get back and how come you couldn't manage us today please don't say that you failed and Frank said chill mase I couldn't manage you guys because it was derby I was managing and I said well they ain't keeping you I don't care your ours and only ours and lamps said don't worry I'm home now and I said well sit in your proper dugout then and lamps walked over and sat in the home dugout and said is that better and I said yeah much and frank said good I'm glad and beautiful goals as well may I add and i said yeah although I now feel bad for scoring them now I never want to score against you again just want to score for you and Frank said mase don't panic what have I told you and I said if you see the opportunity to score take it and Frank said exactly now stop beating yourself up okay and I nod and frank ruffled my hair and I said so found my replacement whilst you were there and Frank said no chance there's only ever gonna be one mase and no one gets ya while I'm near by and then a man in a suit came towards us and said here's your full license mr lampard and this must be the famous mason mount your a lovely player aren't you wonderful goals today and I say oh thank you very much sir but please stop stealing my boss it's really annoying and he said I'm very sorry and don't worry mr lampard won't be called away now he's all official and I jumped up and punched the air said yes and lamps laughed lightly and I said well it's true it's blooming inconvenient and the fa representative said it's nice to see your players clearly respect you mr lampard and frank said yeah knowing mase here since he was a six year old and seeing him achieve all he has for me he's the reason why I am as good at this side of it an incredible captain and fabulous role model for those who are just starting out with their footballing careers and I said I learn everything from him and he knows me better than I do I'd be lost without him so again I kindly ask stop stealing him from chels please and thank you and the fa representative said you have my word mason and I hug Frank and say yay the only time you can leave is when we have our season break and Frank said oh nice to know I'm allowed holidays thank you so much mase and the fa representative said I'll leave you to the joys of your football club now good luck and Frank said bye and frank said right you have you seen lynds and I said no not yet and frank said let's go see your wife and we headed up to the boxes and we get to my box and lynds says hello baby and she instantly kisses me and cuddles me and then she says lamps hey glad to see you back and frank said heya lynds yeah I'm glad to be back but can't wait to get back to work with the boys who I can fully punish as and when required and I said yeah jody could have done with you at a few points in the week when I genuinely Thought timo was planning Kai's demise and frank said why and I said timo had a bad night with Freya and he fell asleep during breakfast and fell asleep on his breakfast and Kai had a field day with winding him up and then you can imagine how the rest of the day went and Frank said honestly you lot and i said erm i was on my best behaviour actually and had no involvement whatsoever with mission kill Kai and frank Said yeah I really can't leave you guys can I do i need to offer jody therapy and I said no jody handled it And frank said good and Archie instantly pulled out and over towards frank and lynds handed him over and frank said hey little man ooo you're a double of your dad huh and lynds said yeah getting more and more like Mase everyday and I said but I promise he'll be raised with half the sass and all the talent and frank said nahh let him go it will be funny to see jody freak out and I say hey I'm trying to behave here whilst giving jody a recreation of his days with Young me and frank says with a laugh oh mase you rotten bastard and I laughed and said oh lamps you really expect me to behave all the time that would get boring and unpredictable of me and lamps just rolled his eyes and said maybe jody could keep you for a little bit to settle you back down ehh and I said i promise you that I'll
behave honest and I'll save the attitude for the pitch okay and we laughed and lamps said I didn't expect anything less from you mase and lynds said so are you back back or will your expertise be required elsewhere and lamps said nope all fully licensed now anything that needs renewal will be done here on match days or at cobham and lynds said fab so I can sign jods off for his rehab now yeah and we all laughed and lamps said right mase why don't you go and shower and change and then fancy some lunch and i said mmmm yes please and frank said right go on then and I kiss lynds quickly and head down to the dressing room and grab my stuff and dart into the shower and give my hair a wash and then I wash my body and then turn the shower off and dry myself and then change into my fresh clothes and then I drop my kit off for wash and I do the same with my boots and then I head back to my box and mum said want me to take your bag back love and I said yes please mum thank you and she said to lynds anything you want taken back love and she said no I'm okay thanks mum and she said alright I'll see you both later then and we both said bye and mum left after saying bye to Bree and Archie and then frank says right food time let's go and we head down to franks car and we get into franks car and after we put bree and Archie in the car seats we headed to the restaurant and frank drives around the back of the building and we all walked in and Christine says hi babe good match and frank said yes the best team won despite the now mixed feelings about the goals that he scored but he now knows that he's being silly over and I said it just felt wrong afterwards and Christine said ah take it you scored then mase and I said yeah got a hat trick and I felt guilty for scoring against frank and Christine said awah bless you were only doing what you have been trained to do and there's nothing wrong with that now I'm guessing you guys are hungry and we all nodded and Christine said okay what are we thinking then I immediately said pizza the bigger the better and I want meatballs and pepperoni and sausages and hotdog sausages and Cheese yeah all the cheese please and thank you and Christine said okay I can do that and Frank said just a chicken salad please and lynds said yeah i agree a chicken salad sounds great and Christine says okay guys I'll get that sorted out for you and she headed off to the kitchen to let the kitchen staff know what our order was and when she did that she said right what are you gonna have to drink and I said I'll have an iced orange juice please and lynds said ooh I'll have a gin and orange please and lamps said a Pepsi for me please love thank you and she okay be back in a minute and she heads off to the Bar to make our drinks and lynds said I'm just going to change arch babe be two seconds and I said okay baby and she grabbed the change bag and headed off to change Archie and frank said still feeling guilty over your hat trick and I said it just feels weird it's like I've had an out of body experience and I'm telling myself that it's not actually me that's scored and Frank said oh mase out of all of that team I'm bloody glad that you were the one that scored you work so hard and every goal you get you deserve okay and I softly say okay but they aren't going to be in my favourite goals okay and Frank said that's fine and I will accept that but stop feeling guilty okay and I said alright I will and Frank said good lad and then Christine arrived back at the table with our food and drinks and we ate and drank and I had some brownies and ice cream and cookies and once that had settled lynds said right you let's get you home and our children fed bathed and into bed and then get ourselves into bed and frank said yeah need you rested okay and I said yeah I promise we will get the little ones in and sorted and then we will be in bed ourselves and Frank said good and frank helps us get bree and Archie into the car and he drives us home and said goodnight guys see you in the morning and we wave frank off and head inside the house and lynds says you alright to sort arch out baby whilst I sort bree and I say yeah that's absolutely fine and I take Archie and make up a bottle so that it's cooling whilst I'm giving him a bath and I wash his hair and then his body making sure he's not got any soap suds left and I take him out dry him off and then change him into his nightwear and grab his bottle and after checking it's cool enough I place him in his cot and then lynds is stepping into the room with a deeply sleeping bree and she say's right that's our children all clean and fed and now sleeping so let's obey the boss and follow their example and I yawn and I headed into the bathroom and quickly swilled my mouth out and then got into bed and after putting my phone on charge and pulling lynds into a hug with a big yawn I found my eyelids gently close and I drift off to sleep
