Once me and lynds had decided on what snacks and drinks we would have and made our film choice we made our way over to my bed which luckily enough was a double bed so we could both fit in it comfortably I pulled back my duvet and I got in first and lynds got in beside me curling tightly into my side and placing her head on my chest and that's how she stayed only moving occasionally for drinks or food or a loo break but then she'd return to her position of cuddling with me.After making our way through 2 share bags of Doritos and 2 tubes of Pringles lynds stood up and said she was going to get ready for bed and she went into my bathroom and changed into an old shirt of mine and a pair of Nikki's shorts and she'd brushed her teeth she went downstairs to get us both a glass of water and when she came back into my room she set our glasses down on my bedside table and she returned to her previous position only this time she had her head burrowed tightly into the crease in my neck and i wrapped her tightly in my arms and with a big yawn and a big deep breath and the exhaustion of the end of the day catching up to her she briefly lifts her head up to look me in the eyes and she says mase thank you for everything my guardian angel and places a swift gentle kiss to my cheek and she returned her head in to my neck and within seconds her breathing became more and more shallow and then when I knew she was asleep I placed another kiss onto the top of her head and watched her sleep and knowing she was safe here i whispered I might be your guardian angel but your the real angel and I love you oh how I wish it was that easy to tell you before i too fell asleep our breathing falling in a synchronised pattern and even though I held the girl who's never far from my thoughts it didn't stop me from dreaming about her in my dreams I had planned the perfect day of arcade games followed with beach walks and chips and then coming back and having our favourite meal of creamy chicken pasta and chocolate cake with cream for dessert and then films and snacks under a blanket on the sofa but the only difference was the sofa we were curled up on was the one in our own front room in our own place where nothing and no one could ever separate us. and all too soon the sounds of my alarm pulled me out of my perfect dream by the ill timed interruption of my first alarm signalling another day to get through all though it's made instantly better by looking down and seeing clutching on to my sleep shirt the peaceful sleeping figure that belongs to my best friend lynds who's still completely unaware that it's morning but also unaware of the unavoidable smile that instantly makes it's way onto my face and the sheer joy that fills my heart with love and joy and as much as I silently wished I could stay like this forever I knew we had to get up and so i very gently begin with stroking her arms and whispering into her ear lynds all though I want nothing more than to stay like this forever we've gotta get up for school and then I feel her start to stir and her eyelids flutter open and she looks up at me and with a smile that makes me smile in return god I don't think anyone can make me feel the way I do about her as when ever I picture my future she's the one who is by my side she's the one who I'm asking to prom and I can't wait to see her looking even more perfect and me in a suit to match her and us slow dancing and then when I'm competing in big competitions she's the one who I want to be there to watch me lift the trophy's and wear my medals around her neck I want her to be the one who I get to come home to after international duty and abroad games that she can't be there for physically I want her to be the one who I get down on one knee for and be her protector for life in the best job possible by being her husband and I want her to be the mother of my children because I can't do this life thing without her Suddenly I'm pulled out of thoughts by my alarm still going off and lynds stretching and in that moment it's like she was a human goodness who could put Aphrodite to shame morning masey makes a change for you to be up before me what you thinking about she asks and I quickly reply with a morning lynds and just how I can't wait to have my freedom back and how amazing that new Spider-Man film was that's all right before my mother has a another reason to yell at me we had better get up I say .

Lynds's pov
I'm awoken not by my alarm like usual but the feeling 0f soft gentle strokes on the tops of my arms and then the voice of my best friend informing me that it was morning and we had to get up and it was then I realised I was clutching on to masons sleep shirt .morning masey I say this has to be a very rare occurrence that you are up before me whats got you smiling like that i ask curiously. Morning Lynds and just how I can't wait to have my football back and thinking about how good the new spider man film was .came the response and with a quick yawn and a stretch I had my glass of water and went down stairs to have breakfast and get my uniform before having my shower so with a quick kiss on mases cheek and a ruffle of his hair which only I'm aloud to play with I headed to start my morning routine and then I noticed the smell of bacon filling the air good morning grace thank you for letting me stay with mase. Morning love your welcome I can't give him anymore reason to act up honestly to have a weeks worth of detentions after school on his first week is not like him at all he's changed a lot recently I just want my sweet well mannered mason back grace says. I did speak to him grace and nothings worrying him. aw thanks love I appreciate it now here's your bacon sandwich and your drink then pop yourself up into one of the girls rooms for a shower and get changed into your uniform alright sweetie I'll sign your planner for you as well and I don't even need to ask about mason he's probably still sleeping. Aww thank you grace and actually he was up before me and had to wake me up for a change.Wow you need to stay over more often if this is what happens and we both laugh i finished my sandwich and drink and collected my uniform and headed up stairs to get ready for school .and as I make my way upstairs I can hear mason pacing around and talking to himself and hearing the words that leave his mouth shocked me " how do I tell you as the most perfect person Ive ever met that I'm in love with you " my best friend was in love with someone and he couldn't tell me maybe that's why masons been the way he has lately it's nerves over the mystery girl.my heart sunk but I'd hoped he would at least tell me the girl who makes him this happy as I'd do anything to be her and I'll be there despite how much It would hurt but I had to protect mase always as I loved him more and more every day I stayed in Charlottes room watching mase head downstairs and I headed down two minutes after him so he wasn't suspicious about me hearing his confession.
