We arrived at cobham and I said just text me when the session wraps lamps and I'll come back over and lamps said okay enjoy and like I say do not touch a ball and I say I won't and lamps says right locker key so I know you don't have your boots and I say lynds has my locker key in her office I think and lamps says fair enough and I say before I head over to the academy I'll say hey to everyone here and lamps says fair enough and I hear Kai and timo heading in and I said morning lads and they said heya mase you recovering well and I said yeah I'm doing alright just got to build my strength back up a bit more before I'm joining you guys again and Kai said slow and steady yeah mase don't want a repeat of seeing you heading off in the back of an ambulance and I say I'm not planning on going in the back of one again anytime soon and Kai said it's such a relief to see you looking a bit more like yourself bro and timo said yeah sick and pale mase is not a good look bro why didn't you say something maybe we could of helped and I said I thought it was just a plain old ear infection and I mean I was sort of right I guess but I genuinely thought it wasn't that bad or serious but hey at least I had the op and I'm all sorted now so about 48 hours to go then I can start training properly again well depending on how quickly I build my self back up after not being able to eat properly for four days and Kai said aw mase you idiot I can't believe you did that why are you here and not resting anyway and i said alright mum jeez I'm okay to be out and about but I can't do anything that may risk a ball to my still slightly sensitive face so I said I want to come and hang out but I'm gonna go head over to the academy and spend some time with them and Timo said nawww bless they will appreciate that they love you over there and I said yeah keeps me busy and distracted from my mouth and also out of trouble so yeah and Kai said just be cautious and do little and often my cousin had two teeth taken out but he had them out without a pre existing infection like you if you can eat it weetabix and milk and I said yeah I had some yogurt this morning so i might try having some more yogurt again but with the vitamin powder and some protein drinks and smoothies too food and fluids in one then and Kai said good plan and lamps said ready for training boys and Kai and timo both say yep see you later on mase enjoy and I say I will you too and lamps said remember mason If you touch a ball my hand touches your ass which then touches the bench for a week I'll find out mason and don't think i won't and I say I promise I'm just going to do my bit for the academy and I make my way over to the academy building and I say heya Sam and she replies hello mase feeling better than the last time I saw you and I said yeah definitely much better cheers and Sam said good I'm glad your alright and i said definitely better than I was yesterday that's for sure and Sam said bless you have fun the kids will love seeing you and I say yeah it's nice to be able to help out when I can and Sam says yeah there lucky kids to have you guys to look up to and head over to jodys office and knock and Jody said it's open and I say hi jods and Jody says hello mase 1 how are you feeling and 2 no you can't transfer to the academy team so you can play before your ready and I laughed and said ok firstly I'm not to bad thanks really glad the anaesthetic is out my system and two I'm not trying to transfer to the academy I just thought it would be nice for the kids to get the chance to ask me any questions about life in Chelsea and the premier league and Just help them out with their training and jody said aww they will love that mase you go and set up the chairs in the indoor pitch and I'll meet you in there in a sec and I say okay and I line the chairs up and I hear jody say mornings guys make your way in to the indoor pitch and pick a seat and everybody comes in and sits down ready to hear what jody has to say and he says today isn't a normal training session and they all say why and Jody says well because we've got a guest with us so make him feel welcome and Jody motions me out and everybody claps and yells mason and I say hiya guys and I get a chorus of mason and yay mase and Jody says yes yes it's mason now he's come over to give you guys the chance to ask any burning questions you may have and everybody says woooo and Jody says and if your very lucky mase may help with your training later ok and Jody says so has anyone got anything they want to ask mason and a few hands go up and Jody says Alex what would you like to ask and Alex asked were you scared to leave the academy or happy and also it's really good to see you looking better and I said ooh good question and at first when I knew I was coming up to my graduation I was a bit scared as all i had known was Chelsea and this environment but I also I was excited as it meant my game could improve as i would be against some new and different teams and in bigger competitions I'll always be grateful to this man here and I put an arm over jody and thank you I'm happy I'm feeling better too and looking forward to being back training myself soon and Ryder puts his hand up and says Mase does it feel different playing for the senior team rather than the academy teams and I said hey Ryder and yeah the senior team has a lot more work to do than the academy team as we have more matches so we have to spend a lot of time training and we have longer training sessions so you guys have two hours training and the first team has six or seven hours of training a day so we really work hard and a another boy called Danny said hey Mason glad your better who's the best to learn from your team mates or your coach and I said ooh another tough question as with my teammates we're focused on getting the right playing system and making sure we are doing what our coach asked us to do but I'd have to say coach and I'm glad I'm back i don't like being off i just want to help my team in anyway I can and another voice says top five favourite people at Chelsea staff and teammates and I oh an easy one lynds lamps Kai timo jody and Jody says blooming typical I'm at the bottom as usual and I laughed and I said would not be the player I am with out them they make every day a dream come true and jody leans in and says you soppy git and ruffled my hair and I chuckled and alex said name the three worst teams and I said Leeds spurs and arsenal and he laughed and said so it's not awkward that I'm a Chelsea boy but my mums a gunner and dads a spurs man and I said no it just means you made the best decision and everybody laughed and Jody said right now you lot out and do your warm ups and we're going to focus on free kicks and mason has said he will stick around to help you with them and Jody makes them all warm up and we check and set the balls out and they all line up to take their kicks and I point out how they can improve and where they are going right and a while later jody says okay boys some good work shown today I'm really happy with how we're looking for our matches coming up and again I want you to say a thank you to mason again for coming over and everybody says thank you mason and I say your welcome and I'll see you soon and everybody bar Alex heads off and I said you okay Alex and he said oh hi mason yeah just a bit frustrated with my kicks they don't seem to be going well and I said show me and he showed me what he was doing doing and I said ahh you're going from your foot and there's no bend in your ankle and I said I promised I wouldn't touch a ball today so I can't physically show you but I can guide you through the addressing of the ball and I said right now shake it out and stand how you were as that was fine and now take your line and bend your ankle and Alex does this and the ball glides into the net and Alex says mase you legend thanks and I say as soon as I can come back into contact with a ball I'll come over and if you're still struggling I'll give you a another hand and help you with them and he fist bumps me and says cheers again mase and my phone begins buzzing and I see lamps has text (super frank 🎖️) hiya mase I've wrapped up training so you can come back over to first team base ☺️ (mason🔵) okie dokes I'm coming home and don't worry I've not touched a single ball other than checking them prior to the academy gang's training 😇 and I put my phone back in my pocket and say please confirm to lamps I ain't touched a ball today other than pre training checks and Jody says I will hope today has kept you distracted enough and i said oh trust me it's not but it's better than laying at home all day going frantic and Jody said you just don't know when to shut off do you mase and I said nope never have never will and I jog back over to the first team base and just as I arrive back lamps phone dings with a text message lamps shows me Jody's message in the group chat he'd set up (jody 👨‍🏫) don't worry lamps mase has been a saint today and not touched a ball like he promised you and has done nothing but bulid your pedestal head back and she said yep let's go and we headed back to lamps and Christine's and Christine says hi boys what are we feeling like for food and I say mmm please can I have some more strawberry yogurt and please can you add some protein powder for me please thank you and Christine says of course would you like a milkshake or smoothie and I said oooh smoothie please need to build myself up and smoothies are my favourite and she said fair enough what about you babe and lamps said ah pasta and a nice cold juice please love thanks and she said right get comfortable then and I'll bring it in and lamps said mase follow me and I did as asked and we headed back upstairs to his Chelsea room and I said lamps what's going on why am I in child masons dream room and lamps giggles and says yesterday you were still spaced out but I want you to close your eyes a sec and I do like lamps asked and I feel something heavy go gently around my neck and lamps said okay open and I say I'm confused and lamps said mirror over there and I walked over to it and I said it's one of your medals and I said hang on it's your champions league medal why am I wearing it and lamps said because one day you will have the medal in your collection why don't you think you'll ever win it mase your good enough and I said i couldn't ever win one and lamps said and why not mase because you are good enough you may not think that but you are all you've faced and look at how far you've come you did it mase im not giving up on you mate I promise you I stand by what I've said to you before I have never seen anyone with so much dedication and commitment to their football like you do and I say well I hope I live up to your standards lamps and I go to take his medal off and lamps say's keep it with you for the time being to remind you how great you are mase okay and I say need the presentation box and lamps say's fair enough and gets me the box and Christine says boys food's ready and lamps says and so now we're going to go down eat our food which is fuel for success okay and I said yeah okay and lamps ruffled my hair and we head downstairs and we eat our food and Christine says starting to feel better now mase and I said yeah I can now taste the food again rather than the anaesthetic so that's a huge bonus and Christine said I bet I'm so happy that you're feeling better mase maybe when you get home have a nice bath and a good old cuddle with lynds and you'll feel even better and I said yeah good idea but firstly come here a sec and Christine walked over to me and I hugged her and said thank you chris for everything you and lamps are truly like my second parents and you should know well lamps I know you know how much you mean to me but I value you just as much Chris and Christine says aww mason you sweetheart there will always be a safe place here for you and your family if you need it plus Frank would go mad if i let anything happen to you and lamps said damm right there babe even if you turned up at 2:00 in the morning a hug and mug and a bed will always be there for either of you and I say thanks guys and I said so now I'm eating more and feeling a bit more sturdy what's the thought of me lightly training tomorrow and lamps said light training yes as long as you behave and if I say rest you do as you are told and i say the day I disobey you lamps is a day that should be written in the Chelsea history books and we all laughed and lamps said in that case then home and bed you three and I smiled and Chris said see you soon mase and I said bye Chris see you soon thanks again for everything and I took mine and lynds bag and helped her into franks car and we headed home and I said see you tomorrow boss and lamps said see you guys in the morning and we said bye and heading inside and lynds said right gorgeous I'm going to pop into the shower and get myself comfortable and you can pick the entertainment and then we can snuggle up together for the night and mase says great idea gorgeous and I set up Disney plus and get it ready just in time as lynds gets out the shower wearing a shirt and short set and we get comfortable with lynd's head on my chest and my hand across her stomach and and we start watching a film when I thought I felt a flutter under my hand but I blanked it until lynds said ahh hello little one was wondering when you were going to acknowledge your presence and I said so I wasn't imagining it then darling our baby is moving and lynds said yep little ones discovered their feet so that means this is the time when I ask do you want to know what this little one is and I say I kind of do and I kind of don't I'm torn baby sorry and lynds said hey it's okay I tell you what we will book the scan and what ever little one decides to do weather or not they make it clear or want to keep themselves a secret and I said good idea so no pressure little one if you want mummy and daddy to know what you are that's fine but if you don't then that's okay too I just want you happy and healthy and i can't wait to see you again I love you and your big sister bree so very much and there's never enough love for me to give to mummy because she's the one who deserves the most love since she's grown your sister so perfectly and she's doing the same for you and I'm so very proud of her and I kiss lynds and she say's despite those gorgeous words baby our little one in here clearly wants more of the attention as I've just received a delightful kick and I say i know baby girl I felt it too and I say hey little one it's daddy again don't go down the violent route your sister did when she was in there too please it's not nice we need to take care of mummy she's incredible and I rubbed lynds's bump and said i still can't believe your pregnant again darling its amazing and she said to be honest baby I didn't feel pregnant until little one woke up and discovered that we can move about and kick out now and I say aw well I just hope littlest mount listens to my warnings and doesn't give you too much trouble and lynds said I'm pregnant with your baby so they don't understand how to behave just like their daddy and I chuckle and say yeah I know i push some of my buttons a bit sometimes and lynds says mason gorgeous you do more than push your buttons you push your whole fucking remote at once and I laughed and said oh that's a low blow my darling a very low blow indeed and I began kissing her neck and jaw and then she rolled over and sat on my lap and crossed her hands behind my neck and I said I swear baby you have my full permission to throw darts at my shirts and force me to watch and lynds said baby I'd never do that I'd simply bedazzle them and make them all sparkly instead and I said oh no that's not right at all i know i overstep slightly sometimes but hey i make up for it and lynds kisses my lips and say's again baby you don't overstep slightly you stag leap yourself into trouble and I say okay that one was justified I guess and we both giggled and I carried on kissing her and I said thank you for everything you do for me baby I hope you know how much I appreciate it and I'm so very grateful and she says your welcome mase and I know you are all three of us are so blessed to have you in our lives as a husband and a dad and she kisses me and I say god I can't wait for tomorrow back to training again and we have our scan for this little one I'm so excited I just can't wait to see how they are doing and lynds says well right now they're having fun doing some wonderful flips in there and I say aw little one can't you get comfortable tonight or are you like daddy and really happy and lynds says i think little one is like daddy and excited and that's why they have so much energy and lynds says a little bit like their mummy but she's got a different kind of energy and she winks at me and she says cover your ears little one or flip away from earshot and she says the kind of energy that gave mummy and daddy your sister and you and I say oooh what a recovery this is and I begin kissing lynds's lips jawline and down her neck and gradually bunching up her pj top and kissing her chest and all over her body and make my way lower each time and she responds with gentle moans and I say I know my darling I know and I lower her pj shorts and begin kissing her legs and then her thighs and she whimpers and scrunches the bedding in her hands and I say it's okay baby girl I'll catch you when you fall that I promise you now and forever and always and we spend a fair amount of time like that and when we are done i help lynds clean up and pull her on to my chest and begin stroking her hair and her shoulder and the top of her arms and she's stroking circles on my chest and soon enough after one final kiss we both fall asleep
