Today me and mason had our first ultrasound scan and meeting our midwife appointment so i was feeling a mix of anxiety and excitement as this would make everything feel even more real and i looked over at my wonderful husband who was still quietly sleeping but unbeknown to him had his hand linked with mine over my stomach I couldn't wait for my bump to start growing as I knew mason is going to constantly be stroking the bump and he's already reading about what stage our baby currently is at developmentally I took the opportunity when mason moved his hand to scratch his nose and run into the bathroom to be sick and when I was finished I checked to see if mason had stirred but thankfully he hadn't he'd just snuggled my pillow in tighter to his body as though he was still hugging me and I put one of masons Chelsea hoodies on and headed downstairs to be greeted by grace hiya love how's the morning sickness and I croak out it's easing slightly but still there so far aww bless you love do you feel up to eating anything and I replied with grace your lucky I haven't eaten the whole house I swear to you that it is crazy and Nikki and grace both said in unison it's not crazy it's the wonders of pregnancy and grace said here's a milky tea and some biscuits and I drank my tea and ate my biscuits when I noticed why does everything taste different and grace said it's only your hormones adjusting love it's fine ugh i hated em before but I hate em a lot more now and Nikki says this part will all be forgotten and gave me a box of mint polos try these I swore by them when I was pregnant with Blake I ate so many I nearly considered calling him polo and we both laughed and I popped a polo in my mouth and It was amazing and any hint of remaining nausea disappeared nik i think I love you and I laugh and I didn't feel masons arms slipping around my waist and him kissing my neck and cheek and saying good morning darling and ahh that's where my hoodie is was looking for that one why are you awake darling you should be resting and then when I'm leaning back into his hug he moves around to my front and says good morning little one I'm so looking forward to seeing you today I hope you are okay and happy your dad's certainly happy and so very excited and I respond with it's down to the little one that I'm awake my morning sickness paid a visit again and my wonderful mum and sister in law saved the day with polos now come and give me a proper kiss now I don't feel like anything in my body is going to try and leave it via air exit and mason let out a light laugh but did as I requested and gave me a kiss and said once we've been for our scan darling are you coming with me this morning since I'm only doing gym training today and I've got a two hour session and then we could go for a walk or something but it's up to you mason asks me from the kitchen I say I'd love to come to training with him and I say baby why on earth are you eating your breakfast out in the kitchen you always eat next to me and masons response melted me well darling I've got weetabix and a milkshake and I don't want to cause you anymore nausea than i already have he says sweetly awe baby you didn't cause me the nausea its one of those things it's okay to eat near me i promise and within seconds masons at the table by my side and he says actually darling I did cause your nausea as I helped in the making of our baby and he placed his hand over mine on my stomach gently and the smile that appears on masons face is too cute and I think i genuinely can't believe how lucky I am I say to mason right baby I'm going to pop up and have a shower and brush my teeth and get dressed while you finish your breakfast and mase says okay darling keep the door a jar incase you need us and I kissed the top of his head god I love you I say and i head upstairs and into our room and i grab a top and a pair of leggings and I get in the shower and when I'm done I dry myself off and change into my selected outfit and I head downstairs and sit on the sofa as mason says right darling I'm off to shower myself quickly and get dressed so here's our phones if mine goes reply or answer it ok and he mirrors the kiss i placed on his head okay babe and I noticed I had a few texts from frank and jt Franks read (SuperFrank🎖) I hear your promoting mase to dad league congratulations guys you deserve this 😇 and jt's read (JT🥇) Mase told me your baby news congratulations love so happy for you anything you need just come see me ok if you don't know my office Its the one after Franks and doors open anytime 😊 when I finished replying to Frank and JT mase came down the stairs showerd and with his gym bag over his shoulder and said right are you ready to finally see our baby whilst grabbing our water bottles from the fridge and putting a dissolvable vitamin tablet in mine and he says hopefully this might help you feel better I have them for training when it's really hot but you need any and everything good in your body right now and I lean over and kissed him and I said yep I'm really bloody lucky and we headed to the clinic and we said who we are to the receptionist and we were shown the waiting room and the second I sat down i felt masons hand grab mine and I felt him play with my wedding ring and I started stroking his hand and I whispered softly to him it's alright if you need air go it's okay and mason said no way is he leaving and he reassured me that he would be okay and soon enough a lady came out and called Lyndsey mount and me and mason both took a breath and headed towards her room and when we got in she said hi I'm Linda Martin and I'm going to be your midwife so I'm a go to throughout your pregnancy and a brief period afterwards how are you and I say I'm okay now I've finally got the nausea dealt with and my wonderful husband here and I gesture towards mason who's treating me like royalty so i really can't complain at all aw good I'm glad now is this little one your first and we both nod right okay so what Im going to do is do a blood test and this caused mason to increase his grip on my hand and Linda says it's okay mason it's just to make sure Lyndsey's levels are okay and if there's any changes we can make sure she and the baby gets the best care quickly and mason relaxes slightly right let's do this blood test and then we can do your scan and the doctor comes in and does the blood test and then Linda puts a clean sheet on the bench and says right the moment you've been waiting for the first time seeing your baby and mason helps me to get on the bench and then helps me out of his hoodie and then I'm told to lay back and Linda tucks a piece of paper roll in the waistband of my leggings and she says quick warning some find the gel cold and a bit of a shock and then she placed the wand on my stomach and five minutes later she says and there you go you two there's your baby looking absolutely perfect and healthy and me and mason both say in sync oh wow and Linda scans a bit more before wiping the remaining gel off and says right guys there's your photos and we will see you at your next appointment in a few weeks time and mason guides me up and sits me up and helps me put his hoodie back on and we headed out and get in the car and mason gives me a kiss and instantly makes one of the scan photos his Home Screen and i smile and we soon arrive at cobham and mason pulls into his space and we get out the car and mase gives me a kiss and goes to change into his gym kit and Frank comes out of his office and instantly gives me a hug and congratulated me again and says how am I and I reply with I'm okay now I appear to be winning against my nausea and the baby's absolutely fine and healthy and then mason returns in his training kit and Frank hugs mason and congratulates him aswell and mason says thank you and i can see masons desperately wanting to show the scan photos so I say it's okay and I pass mason the envelope with the pictures in and he gets them out and he tells Frank all he'd learnt about our baby and Frank smiles proudly at him and then Frank gets mase to do some warm ups and some stretching and he gets me a chair and I sit down and watch mason do his gym session and then an hour and a half later Frank tells mason to start his cool down and mason says err boss aren't I supposed to be on a two hour session and Frank says yeah you are but you've worked bloody hard so I'm taking you and lynds out for lunch on me and no arguments from either of you since you are carrying a future Chelsea star frank says while looking at me and I say I'm not daft enough to argue with the two of you especially when one of you happens to be my husband and mase sends a proud smile my way and he finishes his last set of work outs and begins his cooling down and recovery and then he heads into the showers and comes back out and then we head to the pub for some food.Frank and mason ordered a Greek salad and I had a pizza and cheese garlic bread with strawberry ice cream and strawberry sauce for dessert and we all had a lovely time and then we said goodbye to frank and made our way home and I had obviously fallen asleep in the car as when I woke up I was on our bed and there was a glass of water and an plate with a already peeled and separated orange and some grapes and a cut up apple and a few large cut up strawberries with a note from mason lent against the glass of water hello darling I'm sure you can guess that i carried you in and up to bed these are for you incase you or little one need a snack i hope you have had a wonderful nap and know I love you both with all i have my love forever mase xxx and I smile and have a much needed drink and I eat the fruit and take the glass and plate down and i walked in to the kitchen to find mason in the kitchen pouring him self a glass of water and i wrapped my arms around his waist and kissed his shoulders hello gorgeous i say to him to alert him to my presence and he holds my arms and says hi baby girl and little one and he turns to face me and he says nice sleep babe I say yes baby it was lovely and made even better when I woke up to your fruit selection and water and your beautiful note which by the way darling i nearly cried at and I love you so much and more and I yawned again and mason turned around and said right you up into your pjs and get your self into bed and I'll be up in a second to give you a cuddle.okay baby I said yawning again and made my way upstairs and I changed into my pjs and got into bed and a few minutes later mason joined me and changed into his pjs aswell land we cuddled until we both fell asleep.
