I was slowly but surely starting to feel a bit better I wasn't sure if it was because of the medication or not but I hoped it was part of the reason I also knew a big part of it was down to the phenomenal woman that was currently softly sleeping on my chest and I wanted to stay like this forever but lynds lifted her head and said good morning gorgeous everything okay and I say how did you know I was awake and she says I felt your breathing pattern change gorgeous and I then say damm it thought I could get away with it and keep you here for a while longer since our daughter is still sleeping and we have the day off I thought it would be nice to stay as we are for a while longer and lynds says okay why don't you stay in bed I'll make us some breakfast and some coffees and we can relax under the duvet for the moment and when Bree wakes up we can sort her out yeah and I say sounds perfect darling and lynds gives me a kiss and heads downstairs and makes our breakfasts and our coffees and we watch some Netflix while we eat our food and have our drinks and i take my medication and Lynds looks over at bree who's signalling that she's awake aswell and says ahh parenthood calls again darling and I say why don't you have a shower baby or something relaxing and I'll look after bree for a bit maybe I could take her and Blake to the park or something just to give you a bit of a break you've been non stop this week and I didn't help create bree to not take up the slack for you and lynds says the park sounds lovely sweetheart but I don't want you feeling like your not doing enough you do plenty okay so no more talk of that please and we've planned a duvet movie day so that's what we're going to do alright and I say okay and we watch a few films and cuddle and lynds falls asleep again and I just watch her sleep so contently and she gently whispers god I love you mase and I smile and kiss her forehead and gently place her on her pillow and tuck her up and I grab bree and take her downstairs and I'm met with mum Ryan and Nikki and Blake and Blake says hi uncle mase wheres auntie lynds and I say she's upstairs sleeping bud as she works so hard and does so much she deserves it and Blake says aww and Nikki says you alright bro bet it's odd having a day off ain't it do you know what that is and I say well now I'm building back myself up with my training yeah it is a bit odd to not be there but it's what keeps us wanting to train and keeps the team's morale up and lynds says speaking of morale baby how are you feeling about your first therapy appointment later and I say jeez baby I hoped you could have slept a bit more and she says I was sleeping fine till I realised your down here and not beside me our bed loses it's appeal then and I smile at her and say I'm feeling a bit unsure with the therapy but it's new and something I've not had to do before but I have to do it to get better for you bree and my pitch family and lynds says you've done so well gorgeous you really have why don't you see if Frank will come with us I know he's kept you calm whenever you've felt unsure about something and this would be no different and I say actually that's a great idea baby I'll ask him and I give her a kiss and she takes bree and sorts her out again and I text Frank (mason🔵) hey umm boss I was wondering if Ermm your not busy or anything and you were free and could you um possibly maybe come to my first therapy session I understand if you've got more important things to do which you probably have and I'm sorry I asked it was stupid I'll Umm shut up see you soon bye and I clicked my phone shut and made another coffee for me and lynds and my phone alerted me to a text message and I opened it and it was frank(super frank🎖) morning mase and makeing sure my star player/captain is okay is important I've already told you this and I'll tell you again and again if I have to so am I meeting you at yours or are you meeting me at mine and I can almost hear frank folding his arms and I say (mason🔵) we will pick you up for a change and thank you ☺️ see you later on will pay in cuddles with bree 😃 and then I decided to head back upstairs and I got out my photo album of my favourite memories which included the first time lynds came over for tea and we made cakes and she made blue ones for me and I made red for her and then the each first day at school photos and I could physically see my love growing for the girl stood next to me which automatically brought a smile to my face and then the amazing days we had at the beach and from when she started staying over her curled up asleep looking like every bit of the angel she is and then a few from our prom night and then on another page were photos from my first bridge trip and then my first day at the academy and in my first full senior kit at Chelsea before my debut and a photo of the goal announcement and then a picture of us after I'd proposed to lynd's and then a few pics of our wedding day and then our honeymoon and then the positive test that told us we were going to be parents and a few copies of bree's scans and then photos of us as a family and looking back on all the photos instantly brought a smile to my face and I was so caught up I didn't even hear lynds coming into our room and she said you okay gorgeous what you got there and I say I'm okay I've just been looking back on some very special memories and she says aww cute and there's still loads more we have to fill it with yet baby and I say way too many memories to make and not enough space but my favourite ones will be in my heart and we share a kiss and she said umm if your ready baby it's time to leave and I said yeah we had better go hadn't we as don't want lip off the boss and I say I'm off to my therapy now mum any issues with bree drop us a message and mum says you'll be fine love and so will bree the more kids you have the more experience you gain Now go on shoo and we head out to the car and lynds drives over to franks I get a few texts from Kai and timo (Kai☄️) Heya bro just sending you a good luck message you can do this mase proud of you and to know you ☺️ (Ⓜ️asonⓂ️) Your a good and then I replied to timo(timo⚡️) Just a quick reminder bro you are the most bravest person I've ever met so proud to share the pitch with you and learn from you ⭐️(Ⓜ️Ⓜ️) Aww timo thanks bro ☺️ knowing I had so much support was something that meant so much to me and I couldn't have asked for better people in my life and soon enough we had arrived at Franks place and I suddenly felt rather nervous but I got out of the car and knocked on the door and Christine answered and hello mason how are you and I said I sort of ok getting there but better than when you last saw me I'm so sorry I did what I did and I'm sorry if I put any stress in your relationship with Frank and Christine says mason don't worry I ment what I said we're both here for you whenever you need anything okay I'm just so glad you're on the way to recovery you can do this mason I believe in you and soon enough I hear franks voice saying who is it babe and Christine says come and see for yourself love and Frank adjusts his tracksuit jacket ahh mase hello you alright and I say other than the fact I feel like I'm back at school and I've been sent to the headmasters office again and I'm a little bit nervous about my appointment but I can't thank you enough for agreeing to come and support me and Frank says stop saying thank you it's absolutely fine anyway I can be there for support i will now let's get going shall we and I nod and Frank gives Christine a kiss and gently ushered me into the car and we made our way to the therapists office and I checked in at the reception and took my seat while we waited and soon enough I heard a gentle mason please called and With a glance at lynds and Frank I stood up and walked over and into the therapists room and we all sat down and the therapist said hiya mason or do you prefer another name and I say umm mase is okay and the therapist says well mase I'm dr gabby Dawson but if it makes you feel more comfortable then gabby is just fine and who do we have with you today she says gesturing towards Frank and lynds and I say this is lynds my wife and this is my boss Frank and she says aww it's great that they've come to support you and I say I owe them so much which is why I have to get better and stay better and I give a soft and shy smile and lynds rubs her hands over my thigh and Frank pats my shoulder and gabby says how long have you felt like you have and what made you want to do what you did mason and I said I blamed myself for my wife's attack when we were younger and before we got together and her tormenter was on my rival team at a match as I'm professional footballer and everything he said and did came flooding back and I couldn't bear the feeling of weakness within me I thought I was broken and damaged because I couldn't be a man and a protector and I could feel my body beginning to tremble and Frank gently started rubbing my upper arm and mouthed slow deep breaths it's okay and I did as instructed and regained control over my breathing and the appointment continued and gabby said well done mason the worst part is done now which is the first appointment you've been very brave and you seem to have a fabulous support system around you these are my details so if you need anything more just get in contact okay and I'll check in every now and then just to see how things are going alright and I nod and say a shy thank you and we leave and Frank puts an arm over my shoulder and says you absolute champ mase you were amazing I'm so proud of you and I say thanks Frank for all your help and support and we leave the therapists building and lynds gives me a kiss and says you absolutely smashed it darling so fucking proud of you and I says thanks baby and Frank says I'm used to mason swearing but I'm never going to be to get used to you swearing lynds and we all laughed and Frank said anyone in the mood for ice cream and mason says yeah sounds good and lynds says you had me at ice cream and we laughed again and we got in the car and lynd's drove us to the ice cream parlour and we got our ice creams and ate them and Frank said you may not realise it mase but you've come so far already and are doing amazingly well and I say really and lynd's says no he's right gorgeous to go from where you were a few weeks ago to now being here it's incredible and your incredible you've taken a huge step and you did it all on your own that takes so much strength and courage and i smile at lynds and say everything I am now is because of you darling and we share another kiss things really do seem a little bit brighter and I was determined to keep it that way and we got in the car and dropped Frank off and I said thanks again for today boss and Frank said you know anytime mase im available yeah and I smile and nod and frank says make the most of your break and I say I will see you later and we drive off and head home and mum says hiya love did it go ok and I said yeah she was nice and said she would check in on me and i can call her at any time so that's good and mum gave me a hug and said I'm so proud of you mason darling and I know this girl here is too as she gestured to bree and I said has she been okay and mum said she's been absolutely fine love honestly now what do you fancy food wise and I say umm I'm not sure what goes well with a chocolate fudge brownie ice cream and chocolate sauce and cream and mum says Blimey mase how much sugar and I said well I can burn it off in training when we're back on Tuesday and umm can we have your special creamy chicken pasta please and she said yes you can love go and relax a bit I'm quite alright with bree so take advantage of the offer while you can and I head up to our room where lynds Is sorting out bree's clothes and she says everything ok gorgeous and I say yeah everything is just fine mum sent me up to relax so would my darling wife care to join me for a cuddle while we wait for our food which by the way is creamy chicken pasta and lynds says aww it's like the good old days me and you cuddled up on your bed and creamy chicken pasta for tea and i said yeah when we were like this as youngsters though I couldn't do this like I was so desperate to do and i rolled lynd's onto my lap and began deeply kissing her and things escalated rather quickly and I begin removing Her top and kissing her all over and she humms and says yeah we're definitely not young kids anymore but I'm just as in love with you now as I was when we first met and we kissed some more and lynds said we can always carry this on later my gorgeous and I say I really hope so and lynd's smiles and mum calls up foods ready guys and I say in three two one let the stampede begin and sure enough I was right nikki and Lottie and Ryan all appear from their respective rooms and Ryan says oi prettiest family member first and I say we'll let lynds go first then ryan and Ryan says why should she go first and lynds says to be fair ryan I don't look like I've just had a bunk up with Elmo and Grover and she said maybe try a less complicated painting by numbers next time and Ryan replied with you woman need to understand that you are a demon and Your disguise is human clothing and lynds says and whats so bad about that and i said ry give up you'll never win against her bro and we carried on making our way down to the table and we all sat down and chatted about various things while we ate and then we had some more desserts and we then went back upstairs with bree and lynds settled her down for bed and kissed her goodnight and then came back and joined me in bed and we resumed our earlier actions and they continued for a while until I began to yawn and lynds says i quite agree baby sleep time and we sort ourselves out and we get comfortable and soon enough I'm pulled further into dreamland and lynds says i love you so much baby and I managed to reply back I love you more and then some darling and then we fall asleep ready to face the next day
