Today was definitely going to be a difficult morning as today was Chris's first solo training session in charge of the first team boys ahead of the London derby Chelsea vs West Ham and I definitely felt for him as derby matches are the most exciting as they are usually action packed from even before kick off so I stretched my arms out in front of me and got out of bed and took bree downstairs and got mine and masons breakfast ready and made our snack boxes and I make myself a cup of tea and get bree sorted out and I have my cuppa and then I make masons pancakes and coffee and then I head Upstairs and wake mase and I say babe time to wake up otherwise you will be late for training and mason says ok I'm up and he kisses my head and says for the first time in a long time I really can't wait to get back from training and I say i know gorgeous your coffee is ready and waiting for you along with your breakfast and mason says where  do you keep that crown of yours ehh because I really want to know and mason kisses me and heads into the shower and I head downstairs to sort out mason's kit and when it's done I fold it up put it in his bag and put his snack box and drinks in his bag aswell and then I heard mason approaching and I said your bag is packed and ready to go babe okay and mason says thank you so much and he sits down and has his breakfast and his coffee and I head up and get in the shower and wash my hair and then do my body and get out and get dried and dressed and i plait my hair and pack my work bag and head downstairs and then I grab my lunchbox and snack box and my drinks and then add them to my bag and I say right mase are you ready to head off and mase nods and I say let's do this and grace comes over and says you'll be fine love have fun and she gives us both a hug and I say bye to bree and I grab the car key and mason says I'll drive baby and I say okay and mason begins the drive to cobham and he says I need to spoil you and I say okay why and mason says because you work your fucking socks off and I want to spoil you and I'm not going to take no for an answer so think of anything you want to do or anywhere you want to go and let me know and I'll organise it and mason pulled up into his bay and helped me out and gently pressing me against the car and kissing me and I said come on you training time and mason said yeah I know and don't worry I'll be good and I raise an eyebrow and say mase my darling the day you behave is a day I'm still waiting for but your cheeky naughty behaviour is why I love you as it's never ever a dull moment and I hear Kai chatting on the phone and he mouthed morning to me and I mouthed a morning in response and he said okay boo I've just got to training now so I'll make a note to pick one up on the way home see you later I love you bye and he hangs up and says what the fuck is a period belt because I know I'm German but that was foreign language to me and mason said bro it's like a 2 in 1 it's a wearable heat pad and it massages aswell to help with cramps and pain and kai said oookay and i said Kai don't forget 2 sisters a wife he's been around 3 labouring women and helped deliver the babies the boy has woman experience and Kai said forget you have sisters and I said yep the sisters I don't mind it's my brother that's the one i wish mum had left at the hospital and I quickly laughed and I said I've sent you a picture of what you need to look for Kai and Kai said the world needs more of you lynds thank you and Kai and mase head off and I heard Chris arrive and I said morning Chris how are you feeling knowing that you're in charge of the boys and chris said yeah nerves have definitely been building overnight and this morning I swear I've gotten a day's worth of steps in before I've even done anything with the boys yet how's Mason though i know today is going to be hard for him and I say yeah lamps is all mase has ever known here and he may seem in control on the pitch but off it he's a very delicate human so he doesn't mean anything against you it's just frank and Chelsea are what mase is built on and Chris said no I get that and like I said to Frank I'm not replacing him I'm just his back up the second frank says I've passed and I'm coming home the reins will gladly be handed straight back to their rightful owner Literally and I say you'll be fine those boys are just like the academy kids just a little bit more advanced and worth a bit more money and Chris chuckles and says thanks for the pep talk now let's do this I guess and Chris heads off and I say I'll be over for the brief in a second I'm just popping loo and chris says see you shortly and I head off and go to the loo and i finish and wash my hands and make my way to the briefing bay and Chris says right gents go easy on me while I get used to the whole training the first team thing okay and there's a gentle murmuring of yeah and Chris says right mason you timo kepa billy flynn oli will make one group and Kai you Zac Leo joey kian Matt and arron are the other group so let's start with the usual warm up laps then we will do passes and dribbling and then we will do a simple five a side simulated match okay and the lads say yeah okay right everybody happy and the boys say yes Chris and Chris says that's what I like to hear and we follow the boys out and they all jog off and start warming up and then they come back and they are given a coloured bib each and they start practicing their dribbling and passing and Chris says right now I've seen that let's put it into practice with a few games and then it's into the gym and do some work in there too and then cool down and relax with lunch and then more gym work and then home and rest ready for the match Okay and the boys head off to change into their trainers for the gym and then we head inside and say your doing well and chris says thank you but my god I can't wait for frank to come back and we can all relax and return to our usual routines and i said you honestly can't tell you've never coached a senior squad and chris said don't think I'd have been able to do this without you lynds you make everything feel so much easier and I say aw bless ya and Chris heads into the gym and I head in to my office and get on with my work and a few hours later masons knocking on my office door and I say come on in baby I've got to finish this form a second and then send it over and then we can head home and chill out yeah and mason comes in and shuts my door behind him and sits on my sofa and a few seconds later I heard gentle sniffs coming from the direction of the sofa and I say aww gorgeous it's okay come on let's go and pig out yeah and then words I never thought would leave mason's mouth I don't want to train anymore and I say oh mase it's okay no one is gonna force you what about if you go on individual training or just you Kai and timo and flynn and mase said yeah I'll do individual training I've just rang lamps but I'm sorry baby but I can't train under Chris i just can't it's not because he's a bad coach but it's because he's not lamps and I say hey it's okay it's fine I'll set you up as individual training sessions okay and see how you feel and mason said you are truly the best darling and I say right form done training set up for you four my work here is done now you have my undivided attention and mason says I really want a burger and chips and ice cream and cookies and haribos oh my god star mix or fantangtastics or strawbs and I laugh and say think we'd better go for a drive then baby huh I'll text mum and let her know and I pull out my phone and send grace a text (lynds❤️) hey mum me and mase are going to be eating out tonight so don't worry if we're not back by the usual time 😘😘 (grace🤍) aww bless okay love have fun 💋💋 and i said right come on our evening awaits us and I pack up my MacBook and lock my office door and we headed to the car and I said any particular burger taking your fancy and mason said a double cheeseburger with bacon so anywhere we can get one and I say right fair enough and I head towards mine and Mason's favourite place and I park the car and we head in and mason licks his lips at the smell of Beef and bacon in the air and we sit down and I say are we having chips here or the beach and mason says oooh ummm burgers here and then we can have chips and a sweet picnic on the beach like we used to do and I said I love the plan so burgers here arcade and then chips and a sweet sugary picnic sunset and mason says and my phenomenal wife to make it perfect and I say then that's what we will do and mason says we have the duvet in the car yes and I say yeah we do and mason says good just checking at least I know my beautiful wife and my little man are going to be all warm and cozy and I smile softly and watch mase eat his burger and humm in both delight and appreciation as he does so and I also enjoy my burger and we sit and wait for it to settle before we pay and then head off to a small corner shop to pick up the haribos and the cookies and then we make our way to the arcade and we head to the air hockey and we have a few games and then we have a few games of basketball and mason says right it's definitely time for chips and finding the perfect place to watch the sunset and I say agreed and we head to the car to grab the duvet and then we get our chips and we begin our search for the best spot to eat our chips and when masons happy with the spot he sets down a towel and then we sit down and get comfortable and place the duvet over us and we ate our chips and our sweets and cookies under the soft warm glow of the sunset and kissing each other before mason let out a yawn and I said come on baby let's get home and into bed yeah mason nods and sleepily says yeah okay let's go home and thank you baby I needed that and I said it was a amazing evening and mason helps me stand up and we headed to the car and made our way home and mason sat down on the sofa and immediately fell asleep and grace said aw bless somebody's tired and I said yeah he genuinely enjoyed himself at the arcade and beach though and grace said good he needs to learn to enjoy himself that boy is non stop football and I said yeah it's definitely going to be interesting to see how he trains tomorrow as he wants to do individual training rather than group and Grace said wow that is saying something Mason loves his training and getting on the spot feedback and I said yeah that's such a huge thing for him but we will see how he does and I said right bed time for us three and I stand up and approach the deeply sleeping mason and I gently stroke his cheek and say hey gorgeous why don't you get up in to bed you've got a match tomorrow and it won't do you any favours if Chelsea's beloved captain is all stiff from sleeping on the sofa hey and mason nods but stands up and quietly says night mum love you and Grace kisses his cheek and says i love you too my darling and I follow mason upstairs and he takes off his tracksuit bottoms and his t shirt and gets himself into bed and he falls straight to sleep but before I join him I go to the loo and I wash my hands and brush my teeth and head back into the bedroom and I change into my pjs and I whisper night Archie sweet dreams baby mummy and daddy love you and I get into bed and lay along side mason and watch him sleeping until I too fall asleep
