We had our fa cup final match today 8 months of hard work will show in ninety minutes worth of match time unless we go into extra time for penalties and it was me and Kai as captain with timo on the bench in case he had to go since Chloe was due to have their baby any day now and me lamps Kai and timo had all decided we couldn't risk timo being on the pitch in case Chlo needed him and we'd decided that I'd start as captain and Kai would be on as captain for the second half if needed and me and timo had decided that the girls would be sat together for safety in the box assigned to me and we could easily check in on lynds and chlo when we wanted to whenever which obviously timo was doing and once we were on the bus it's when it really sunk in that this was our first chance to win a domestic trophy under frank so now I had extra motivation and Began to look out the window of the bus and frank said hey mase what's troubling you ehh and i said this is the first chance your Chelsea has at claiming a domestic trophy you have so much riding on your shoulders right now lamps and what will happen if we lose and Frank says then we breathe and take what we didn't do right and correct should sell me in the next transfer window or maybe I shouldn't renew my contract and become a free agent instead and Frank squats down in front of me and says mason i promise you that with my last line and we walked out to thunderous cheers and claps and I saw a sea of signs and flags and the liquidator began filtering around the stadium and I gulped down my nerves and tried to take in the atmosphere which was electric and the air became alive with excitement and anticipation as we shook hands with the other players and took our jackets off i adjusted my shirt and i rolled my shoulders and clicked my neck and jogged on the spot side to side and then we all took our spots on the pitch and then I take a few big breaths and then I heard the whistle sound and this was it the match had started and we get possession of the ball and billy passes to me and I see Kai had a clear chance at goal so I passed the ball to him and Kai hits the ball and in it goes we had the lead and I congratulated Kai and said nicely Done and Kai said cheers for the assist captain and we hi five and carry on with the game and Leo is fouled and Leo goes to square up for a fight and pull him back and say Leo No enough come on be better than that you've just served a suspension don't serve another one now focus on the game and Leo shakes out of my grip and says at least I'm not afraid of the game unlike you and I say what does that mean exactly and Leo says heard you and your precious bestie boss talking and I said we're all nervous Leo frank did it to everyone now anymore of that behaviour and you'll find yourself benched again now pack it in and Zac takes the penalty and the ball goes past the keeper taking us two nill up and I say very nicely done Zac and he says thank you and suddenly before I knew it we had reached half time and we headed in the dressing room and lamps said some lovely work from some of you Kai mase and Zac and but there's still areas we can improve on but other than that keep your heads level and keep your focus on the game and you will be fine and I say I agree some things definitely need improvement but we are still at risk of getting caught but this doesn't mean we need to respond with aggressive behaviour towards players we can do this properly and we can maintain our lead and hopefully add to it and Frank said i agree so mase are you happy with the team and the attitude and I say I think we should make some subs and Frank says okay Leo off and flynn fancy a start and flynn says oh god my Chelsea debut and a trophy no pressure then and say it's okay flynn my debut was at the bridge and it was under my hero this will be a piece of cake for you you've got the talent I promise you and flynn takes a deep breath with his eyes closed and says mase i trust you so let's do this and I say good lad and frank says mase has got you i know he has and heads off to make the match official aware of the change and we head out and I whisper to flynn just have fun and breathe for gods sake I know that's good advice since they are the wonderful wise words of our legendary coach and flynn giggles and we head back out to the pitch and the match resumes and Zac passes to billy who then passed to flynn and I pass the ball to Kai since again he wasn't heavily marked and he scored and Kai said you could of hit it and I said I'm not being greedy and Kai said fair enough and we carried on and I glanced up and saw we had 5 minutes left and i began getting excited and then the opposite team began using more tackles and trying to get penalties and free kicks and us down to ten men but billy got the ball and passed to flynn who passed to me and I thought sod it and powered the ball into the net and the next thing I knew I was bundled by everybody and as I'm released I saw dark blue smoke appearing from the top of the stadium and Frank jumping up and down and he then ran on the pitch and said mase all the worry was for nothing YOU DID IT WEVE WON THE FUCKING CUP THANK YOU SO MUCH MASE and I say no fucking way and then on the match screens I see congratulations Chelsea fc roll around the stadium and I jump up and down and run to find flynn and I hug him and say thanks flynn stunning game and congratulations for an amazing debut flynn says I'm not sure what I was worried about you really did have my back out there cheers mase and said my pleasure and Frank beckons me over to his interview and he says this boy right here is why Chelsea is the team we are and the very reason why we won today he has fought so hard for himself and his team and I can't thank him enough for everything he does and he hugs me and I say it's because of him I'm stood beside him today everyday is a dream to train under my hero to be guided by him and to learn from him I couldn't have wished for more I owe him everything so the trophy is a very shiny thanks for being lamps our forever legend and my forever idol and we hug filtering through the stadium and with a 321 countdown we lift the trophy and we celebrated and confetti falls from the roof and once all the pictures of us and the trophy were taken a few of us head back down to the pitch to clap our attending fans and we all got our phones from our lockers and then we went back and took pictures and selfies and took a few videos and then we took pictures with fans and a few boys gave the fans their shirts and one lad said this is so cool and I smiled and said so flynn this ain't a bad welcome to Chelsea life is it and Flynn said nope and I said take it in and treasure it and Flynn said oh I'm gonna mase trust me and I laughed lightly and then after we'd done another lap I was named man of the match so i head of to collect my award from Jessica and she said another fabulous game mase is lynds alright and I say they are all fine lynds is in the box with chlo where they are both safer and Jessica said aww got a bit worried when I didn't see her in the dugout and I said I'm not taking any risks of lynd's getting hurt and Jessica said no not with bree it's not fun and I said there's that and the fact that she's carrying our son and Jessica said yeah I say thank you and then I head up to the boxes and I knock on the door and lynds said hello baby you were incredible I'm so looking forward to getting my champion captain home to our bedroom later on played brilliantly and I said thanks and then she said well as much as i could enjoy with the baby giving me a reason to reconsider ever giving them a sibling and I said aw chlo bless you and she rubs her back and her side and hissses and she says you can chill now baby the match is over and she scrunches her nose and groans and humms and I say feeling alright there chlo and she says if this little person could go to sleep or calm down I'd be fine and she scrunches her hand on the chair and timo says how can I help my darling and she said rub my side or back we can work it out as to where helps and then says fucking hell owch and timo does exactly that and she said I don't actually mean this babe but timo I really don't like you right now and timo said I'm sorry babe and she began rubbing her back in a circular motion and I looked over at lynds who looked back at me and nodded subtly owch that hurt Chloe said whilst griping onto the chair and taking a deep breath in and i said chlo you alright and she say's just a bit uncomfortable but oww chill little one and i say chlo how long have you had the pain for and chlo says since last night but it's normal isn't it or maybe it's the nerves wearing off and i say yeah umm chlo I think it's beacuse you're in labour and you're having contractions and Chloe says surely not now we won't make it to the hospital ahhh Jesus Christ alive that hurts a lot hang on need a loo break and a few moments later chlo says well the loo break really didn't help at all It's made the pain stronger and lynds said yeah babe don't want to alarm you but that definitely sounds like you're in labour and Chloe says agh shit and I say its okay Chloe we've got you and Chloe says I can't do this I'm so scared I say yes you can chlo your going to be fine you can do this we're all here for you and you trust us yeah and she nods and I say what i want you to do is take nice long deep breaths and Chloe nods and I say right Timo I know you're nervous and scared right now but you can do this I promise you we are here and we're not going anywhere but can you please go and get us some scissors and towels and timo says yeah ok and heads off to get what I'd asked for and I say your doing so well chlo and she grunts a thanks mason and growls the on part and groans and I say good your doing well chlo really well just keep up with your nice deep breathing and chlo says mase lynds don't leave me owww and clutched the cushions and I said Chlo relax we're here with you and I say if you can try going on to all fours and I'll rub your back and Chlo does like I say and she says god it really bloody hurts and timo comes back with everything and says hey babe you are being so brave I can't believe we are finally going to meet the little one and Chlo said yeah instant grounding for the pain levels though and chlo says ow ow ow ow This is proper painful while groaning into timos chest and lynds says where's the pain chick and she said coccyx region and lynd's said okay that's good and chlo says how is it good exactly and lynds say's because it means you are doing everything right and she said so imagining I'm sitting in a ice bath is right is it and god almighty this kills and I said try and either rotate your hips or rock back and forth and I guided Chloe's hips and she said oooooo ow owww wow ow this particular pain is different than the contractions and I say okay chlo just focus on taking really deep breaths in and keeping them nice and steady and let us know when the pain changes again okay and chlo whimpers into timos chest and timo says hey my darling I can't get over how strong you are you've been in labour all day and you came to support my team with me while having contractions and being uncomfortable all night and day your really amazing and lynds said hey chlo at least you're admitting your in labour I went into denial and chlo said okay i give up I know I'm in laaaaaaboooor and I said it's okay chlo your doing brilliantly just take big breaths and chlo said you really should take up midwifery as a side hustle and i chuckle lightly and timo wipes Chloe's face and neck and kisses her and says I'm so very lucky I found you and Chloe said definitely going to take way more convincing than that if you want anymore kids love and Chloe said err guys why do I feel like I'm on fire and lynds said that means little one is ready to say hi and timo said I've got you baby I'm not gonna leave you and I said see chlo and Chloe said umm I think I need to push and I say okay Chlo just breathe a sec and I'll make sure everything's ready and lynds sits the other side of her and I put the towels down and sanitised my hands and I quickly take a sip of water and say okay Chlo whenever you're ready go for it and push and chlo groans and I see her push and she takes a few breaths and I say and again chlo come on girl think of the gin at the end of this and chlo says excellent motivational technique that there mase and she pushes again and Timo wipes her hair back and kisses her and Chloe pushes and says why women say this and your wedding day are the best days of your life clearly drugs themselves on their wedding day because one that hangover was not it and two this is undeniably unfair ahhhhhh Chloe screams in time with her pushes and I say breathe a sec Chlo and she does as I say and she says i want a drink and timo passed her an ice cube and said cooling and hydrating at the same time and Chlo says it will do and I say when you need to push again and chlo says wayyy ahead of ya there mase and she grabs the bottom of timos hoodie and timo says breathe baby nice and slowly your amazing and I say come on Chlo push and she groans and pushes and says that one really hurt and I said you're doing fab chlo and lynds said the boys aren't lying your a proper warrior and chlo says now you I believe a little bit more since you've been here before and somehow are doing it again and I say your both amazing strong powerful women and Chloe says ugggghhhh gotta push and I say alright Chlo just breathe and trust your body and push and Chloe gives a push and I say I can see the head and Chloe pushes and I say come on Chloe you can do it and she pushes a few times and I say on your next push you will have the head out and Chloe says yay and blows a puff of air up her face and timo says come on chlo your doing so well keep going and chlo grunts and pushes and I say that's the head just take a breath a minute chlo in and out come on teems help her out and timo breathes in and out in a slow deep rhythm and she says mmmm and after a few deep breaths chlo says need to push again and I say go on chlo push as hard as you possibly can and Chloe pushes and I say come on Chlo keep going and Chloe pushes some more and I say that's the shoulders nice and gentle pushes now chlo and pant and I start panting and Chloe begins coping me and she starts crying and saying I'm so tired and it hurts so much and I say hey come on Chloe I know it hurts and your tired but your so very nearly there and then this will all be over so come on and push yeah and Chlo starts pushing again and i said baby we got any large towels and lynds said umm these ones babe and she passed me two towels and I put the largest towel over my shoulder and I said this push is the last one Chloe so make it a nice big strong one okay and she nods against timos body and I say 321 push chlo push and Chloe pushed and I caught her baby and I said oh well done chlo you were amazing and she breathed out a cheers mase and I began cleaning the baby up and I say it's a girl and chloe and Timo started crying and I used my spare bootlaces to tie the cord and when I'd cleaned up the baby as much as I could I passed her to Chloe and I said here's your mummy and daddy little lady and Chloe says hello you I'm mummy and I'm so very happy that you're here and timo kisses Chloe's temple and says you are perfect baby girl me and mummy have been waiting for you yes we have and he says thank you again darling for the most beautiful family and Chloe says I can't take all the credit mase thank you and i hope if we are blessed to have a another one I hope your around and I say it's a beautiful thing and I'm honoured that you trusted me enough but I'm far more experienced on the pitch and she says haha and she says I think I know what name to pick for her and Timo looks at Chloe and says she looks like our second girl choice and Chloe says yes she does so Freya Nicole Werner meet auntie lynds and uncle mase and lynds says gorgeous name babes and I say yeah Freya's pretty but the middle name is my favourite part while tucking my head into lynds neck and then there's a tap on the door and a voice says paramedics and Chloe says down here and the paramedics say congratulations and well done to you both and hello and Chloe says Freya Freya Nicole Werner and the paramedic says aww cute and I help lynds stand up and the other paramedic says you don't need us aswell do you sweetheart and lynds rubs her bump and says no I'm a few weeks behind these two and the paramedic says fair enough and congratulations to you I hope you've got a good dad and partner and lynds says yeah I have a real champion for a husband and the paramedic says aww brill and lynds says I'll give you a clue he's the one who helped Freya into the world and is currently playing with the ends of my hair and I say how you do that I have no idea darling and the paramedic says aww nice and congratulations on the win we Had the match playing on the radio in the ambulance and I say thanks and i say see you soon chlo yeah and Chloe says mason get here now and I go over to her and she hugs me and kisses my cheek and says you made this possible will get there now so get yourselves home for some rest and tomorrow night those who feel up to it there is going to be a bash at the bridge so wear your best dancing gear and enjoy yourselves keeping that promise and I kiss her and say I just keep on winning with you and I tuck her into my side and the coach sets off and a little while later we're pulling back in to the bridge and we all get off the bus now loudly singing blue is the colour and cheering and laughing and lamps said now do you believe me that you are worthy of leadership and now we have the trophy I'm not going anywhere and I say yeah I believe you boss sorry I was a bit of a mess and lamps said mase nerves before a match like that are normal and natural I was the same weather it was for Chelsea or England it's perfectly normal to want nothing but the best for your team but it's not just you on that field yeah and I nod and say thanks lamps oh and  congratulations on your first manager's trophy and lamps and getting her pjs and her hoodie for her and then when I was happy with how the bath looked I set out a face mask already for her and went back downstairs and said your baths ready my darling and she gets up and kisses me and says thank you babe and heads up and I head back up behind her and hang my medal up and head in the shower and wash my hair and my body and then I just leave my hair as it is like usual and then dry my body and get in to my joggers and a hoodie over the top and then I head back downstairs and mum hands me a drink and says I'm so very proud of you love and I hope you know that right and I say yeah I do mum and thanks and then lynds joins me back downstairs fresh from her bath and mum says some appleade love and she says thanks and mum says right make yourselves comfortable and I'll bring in your tea and we both sit down at the table and lynds softly strokes her bump and I say is archie behaving darling and she says I promise you love he's just settling himself down and I lean over and stroke her bump and feel a few soft kicks and I say good boy Archie daddy loves you bud and mum comes in with our food and we both say thank you mum and mum says your welcome sweetheart and she tops up my drink and lynds drink and says to mason I'm so proud of you and all your hard work with your football you really deserve all your success i love you baby boy and every one says congratulations mase and they raise their drinks and Ryan says now can we eat I can feel my waistline shrinking and mum says Ryan stop with the dramatics and enjoy your brothers moment for once as difficult as it may be for you and lynds laughs into her drink and we all eat our food and then we have our dessert and me and lynds help mum in the kitchen and then we say right we're heading up to bed and mum says okay love's sleep well and I give mum another kiss and she kisses me back and does the same to Lynds and then we head upstairs to our room and climb into bed and lynd's says I promised you your own reward and celebration for your incredible win and she began kissing all over me gradually getting lower each time and quite a while later through heavy breaths I say that was amazing thank you so much baby and she said your welcome gorgeous and I went and cleaned myself up and then i got back in bed and after gently tucking lynds into my side and placing a kiss on her forehead and one final I love you said to one another we fell asleep lynds with her head on my chest and my hand resting over her bump and I whispered night night Archie daddy will speak to you in the morning before falling back to sleep
