Now that my legs healing me and mason have to go back to school and I'm incredibly anxious as that also means I leave masons side and go back home and I was dreading it grace came and knocked on the door and said we had 5 minutes until breakfast was ready . Mase babe we've gotta get up were back at school. Mase clutches on to me even tighter I don't wanna get up cause I love having you here and I don't want you to go back to your house and I don't want you back there what if it happens again .mason baby I'll be fine you'll be by my side all day plus going back shows I'm not scared or prepared to let anything hold me back so come on babe let's go and have some yummy breakfast and get ready ok and then I make my way downstairs and have my breakfast and when I get downstairs I find grace in the kitchen. Good morning love how are you feeling about going back she asked me whilst filling the jug with orange juice and making masons coco pops . I'm ok about going back to school I can't say the same for mase though he's worried it's going to happen again he's not even signed up for the school's team because he doesn't trust them. Wow he's really taking this to heart isn't he grace adds . Yeah he's blaming himself and he said if it was down to a choice he would pick me over football which I love him even more for but grace football is masons life he can't give that up because of me . Grace comes over and gives me a hug oh sweetie I'm sure it's all going to be fine mase loves you so much and you mean so much to him he'll be alright in the end now come and get some breakfast in your system can't have my future daughter in law going back on an empty stomach and grace gives me a bowl of coco pops and a glass of milk once you've had your breakfast Lottie will help you with a shower and getting your uniform on okay love before placing a kiss to my hair . I use the rest of the time reading over the notes from while I was off but i could sense something wasn't right with mason whatever it was it was obviously affecting him but whatever he was going through I would stay by his side through it all and be whatever he needed from me day or night grace pulled me out of my thoughts right my darlings time for school mase reappeared looking very pale and clearly out of sorts I'd let him tell me if and when he felt comfortable enough but I hoped he would be okay I hate seeing him like that .grace came in and spoke to our head master we prepared to head to our first lesson and I gave masons hand a quick squeeze and send him a smile although mase returns the smile there's no usual accompanying sparkle in his eyes and mase pulls out my chair for me and helps me with my crutches and we get through the day without any problems other than that fact we wouldn't be in masons bed together tonight but somehow we got through and grace picked us up hello you two how was your day it was okay thanks grace and mason just held my hand and remained silent. Even through out dinner mase wasn't right he ate very few mouthfuls before excusing himself from the table and he said he'd be back down once he changed. Humm grace said wonder what's up with mase do you know love . No grace I don't maybe he's overtired or something .could be love. Oh well he can always have it later I suppose she says putting masons leftovers into the pan and washing his dishes.my mind however was thinking about my wonderful boyfriend upstairs when he came back down he was dressed in a t shirt and tracksuit bottoms without even saying anything he came and cuddled into me and as i began stroking his head I noticed a thin line of sweat along the top of masons forehead and I thought to myself oh mase what is up with you.before my mum texted me telling me i needed to be home and I knew I had to upset him so I gently whispered into his ear mase baby I've got to go home he mumbled aw okay let me know the second you're back please i wanna face time you as soon as you can . Mason's pov
I knew I should have been getting ready for school but I couldn't stop my mind from spinning I headed downstairs to have my breakfast and I tried to eat but I couldn't help but feel sick I tried having a drink but that didn't work I went upstairs and had a shower hoping that would calm me and my thoughts but it didn't work the second my eyes shut and reopened instead of clear water flowing down the drain i saw blood and my hands began to shake and my legs began to mimic led and my chest felt like it was being forced into a vice like state and before I knew it I was on the floor of my shower taking my entire shelf down and all I could do was clutch at my chest and cry I let out a scream which was obviously louder than I thought it would be and this caused Ryan to come in bro you good he said I tried to and no mater what I did I couldn't answer him Mason he said a little bit louder MASON ANSWER ME Ryan yelled and again I tried but it's like my body didn't want to respond ryan came into my bathroom and crouched in front of me aww bro what happened it's okay slow your breathing for me mate in through your nose and out through your mouth make them nice and slow your doing really well buddy It's okay your fine come here he says pulling me into a hug and wrapping me in a towel right we're going to stand up now and I'm just going to walk you to your bed and your going to get into your uniform okay and then brush your teeth do you want me to get mum to come up so you can tell her what's just happened no she can't know she's got too much to deal with I'll be fine . Bro you collapsed in your shower that's not right.i need to finish getting ready i say before swilling my mouth out with mouthwash as I didn't feel like brushing my teeth fully and grabbed my school bag and headed downstairs and then mum said Right my darlings time for school . I knew I had to face it at some point but I didn't want to leave here as I knew lynds wouldn't be here when I woke up in the morning and I couldn't stop thinking about what's going to happen to her before I can be with her again and it would tear me apart being without her mum dropped us off and headed off to a meeting room with our headmaster and once me and lynds got to class I pulled out Lynds chair and helped her with her crutches and we got through the rest of the day relatively problem free although I still felt on edge after what happened this morning and felt stupid it's lynds who should be terrified to be in this building and yet she's shown so much courage it's amazing. mum picked us up hiya loves how was your day lynds replied with it was ok and I remained silent and mum then took us home and halfway through my fourth fork full I excused my self from the table and said I'll be back down in a bit I'm just changing out of my uniform and ran upstairs to be sick once I had finished being sick I changed out of my uniform and into a t shirt and tracksuit bottoms and make my way downstairs and cuddled into lynds as soon as I was by her side it didn't take long for me to fall asleep and no sooner had I done so i hear lynds whisper my name and then announce she had to leave for home I begrudgingly allowed her to get home but under promise she would let me know the second she was back and then I would face time her and she promised she would answer.
