Today me and dec had a local team match so our teams were playing against each other and everyone was coming to watch i woke up and had some weetabix and a milkshake and then I went into our shower being very quiet since lynds was still asleep I'd wake her up after my shower once I'd had my shower brushed my teeth and put my football shorts and socks on I'd put the top on in a bit and I headed in to wake lynds up and I did so by smoothing the hair off of her neck and began kissing it and soon enough she began stirring she stretched out her arms and she said in a slightly dry voice mmm morning baby ready for your match against dec I can't wait to see you thrash him haha .Yeah it should be a good game we've all trained hard and we've been playing well so I'm fairly confident that we will win this plus I have an incredible cheerleader waiting for me pitch side so that's plenty of motivation to do well and play well.I know you'll be great babe have you finished in the bathroom I'll shower before breakfast lynds asks yeah I'm all done babe ok I'll be 20 minutes and she disappeared into the shower and I text dec for a bit (dec o ration ⚽️) yo bro sending ya a final text before I beat ya don't get jelly of my medal I might let you wear it 🤣. (Money mase 🤑) see ya on the pitch bro and who knows might get a miracle haha i put my top on and lynds came out of the shower wearing a top with mount on the back a black pair of jeans and hi top trainers and her hair in two plaits you look amazing baby and I kissed her and we headed off to the field and I gave mum a quick hug and lynds a final kiss and every one wished me luck I headed over to my coach to find out if I was starting and I was so I was really happy coach gave a brief and told us the formation we were going to use and we took our positions on the pitch and the ref blew his whistle signaling the start of the match we were playing really well and had a majority of the possession if we could just wear the other team down we may be able to score I got passed the ball and I took the shot and it hit the top corner of the net so that put us 1-0 I was thrilled with my goal and everyone cheered for me it boosted me up loads I knew i wanted to score again and one of my teammates was fouled by dec so we were given a penalty and dec received a yellow card I was chosen to take the penalty I was nervous but I took a breath and positioned the ball how I wanted it and with a another deep breath I launched forward and made contact with the ball and that also went in so we were now 2-0 and heading towards half time so i headed over to lynd's and everyone mum says lovely penalty sweetheart thanks mum lynd's passed me my water hey my super scorer someone's definitely going for man of the match and she kissed me hey babe what happened to dec I don't know he tackled one of my teammates bad he's gotta be careful though he's getting close to a second and a suspension for 3 games ohh dec and soon enough I'm summoned back on to the pitch and the second half starts and again we started of strong and we were creating a difficult game for the other team and just as I received the ball I was tackled to the floor and a felt a sharp burning pain travel from my ankle right up my leg and I heard dec yelling at his teammates and then he crouched beside me bro I'm so sorry I can't believe they did that to you and a few seconds later a medic came over and said mate we need to take you off to hospital are any of your family here I said yeah they are pitch side dec go get em for me bro and off he went and I was loaded into the ambulance and my ankle was put into a air cast and mum and lynds appeared on the ambulance lynd's spoke first hey baby your going to be fine decs fuming and worried you blame him he wanted to come over but he was scared your mad at him so is giving you space nah I'm not mad at him I'll text him when I get to hospital and then the paramedics ask who is lynds to me and she says take me away from him and I'll snap all of your legs are we understood I'm his girlfriend and this is his mum so we're staying put and mum just raised one eyebrow and said got your hands full with this one love quite a spirited little lady ain't she and we laugh out loud I wouldn't have her any other way though mum and mum began texting my siblings to let them know and 10 minutes later I arrived at hospital and I'm taken straight through for an x ray and mum had to come in with me since me and lynd's aren't married so she's not my next of kin yet but I'm taken through in to the X-ray room and had my X-rays done and then I'm taken to the waiting room to wait for the result i sit and look out the window and mum noticed hey baby what's on your mind. Mum what's going to happen if it's a bad injury what if I can't play again. Hey love don't think like that you can come back from this sweetheart at worse you'll need to miss this season but with your work ethic towards football it will barely be noticeable and you'll be back on the pitch on no time and then I'm called in right mason unfortunately it's a pretty nasty break so unfortunately it's going to require surgery in order to repair the break my heart sunk and obviously the doctor picked up on it don't worry i know what's coming next yes you'll still be able to play football but we've just got to wire the bones together to ensure they heal correctly in order for you to continue to play so what we're going to do now is pop a cannula in to get your pain relief and anti inflammatories  started and get you settled on the ward and then you will be in theatre tomorrow once your out of theatre we will re X-ray to ensure that the repairs been a success and we will keep you over night for observation and then you'll be free to recover at home and then the nurse came in and put my patient wristband on and prepared my hand for the cannula quick scratch 321 and your all done well done love we'll take you up to the ward now and I'm wheeled up right mum and your friend can only stay for a bit okay.she's not my friend she's my girlfriend and okay as long as she's here when I'm out of theatre I don't care . Aww I'm so sorry I didn't mean to just guess tell you what I'll speak to the ward manager and see if we can fit an extra bed in and she can stay overnight with you and mum says that's probably for the best neither one do to well without one another and this young man can be quite stubborn at times and soon enough we have an extra bed and mum says I'll be back with some  bits for you both in a second and she kisses our heads and we both say thank you how are you doing baby lynds asks I'm okay bit worried about the op though. Aww you'll be fine baby honestly if anyone can come back from this it's you gorgeous.thanks babe and i appreciate you being here. Hey you stayed in hospital with me with my leg so I really do owe you. And we cuddled up and I text dec for a bit and mum comes back with our stuff and she stays with us for a bit and then it's time for her to leave and we all hug lynds then changes into a lounge set to sleep in and we watch a few films on my iPad and then we fall asleep.
