It's been a few weeks since my cast came off and i was medicaly cleared to play in matches again and I had missed the feeling of waking up hurrying down some weetabix and some milk and jumping in the shower and getting into my training kit and having that pre match feeling lynds was already up and helping nikki with Blake she looked amazing in a custom shirt with my name and number on the back and a pair of leggings and her hair into two plaits and mum said hiya love you got everything as we will be leaving in a few minutes and I said yeah I'm all set up we got in the car and headed to the pitch where are game was due to be played I quickly said bye to mum and gave lynds a kiss and a hug and headed off to warm up I had been selected to start I was happy and me and the team head out to start and then we went to our positions and the match begins and within a few minutes I'm passed the ball and I can see a clear path to goal and I take the opportunity to shoot and the ball goes straight into the back of the net I celebrated it felt good to score again and then a few minutes later I get the ball again and I shoot for goal again and it goes into the corner taking the team 2-0 and then i catch the rebound of a another shot and it goes in I'd gotten a hat trick I was feeling so good and I passed the ball to a team mate and moved slightly to trick the players marking me and I received the ball again and goal was clear and I hit the ball and into the net it went and we were 4-0 and it was half Time and I went to take a sip of water and my coach said someone wanted to talk to me my nerves instantly built and a guy came over in a dark blue tracksuit and Said hi your mason right and I replied yeah I am and the guy said good to meet you mason I've been watching you play and wow you've got talent kid would you ever consider joining an academy. Erm yeah I would my dream is just to play and improve my football as much as I can I say . Good well My names Jody Morris and at that point my world stopped and I felt like nothing would ever make sense again as my dream was within my grasp you okay mason Jody said umm yeah I'm okay this just doesn't feel real I'm just a kid that loves to play football and learn all I can what's special about me I say. I've been to a few of your matches before and after your injury and to play like that is amazing and if your interested there's a training week at cobham you'd be perfect at Jody says I feel the excitement build wait cobham but thats chels's training ground and then I noticed that badge that I adore so very much yes mason I work as the youth development coach at the academy and I'm hereby inviting you to join the academy and see how you go and when your older you will then be in contention for a place on Chelsea's first team squad so have a think oh mr Morris sir no thinking required I'd be incredibly honoured to join Chelsea's academy thank you so much for being here and thank you for everything you did for Chelsea aw that's really sweet of you to say mason I'm looking forward to seeing you at cobham soon but Jody is fine mr Morris makes me feel old he laughs . Not as much as I'm looking forward to being there that place is very special to me what's your most special place then mason Jody asks me there's no place more special to me than Stamford bridge ahh you'll be on that very pitch soon I reckon Jody says you'll never get me off it though it's been incredible to meet you Jody and thank you once again for the words of encouragement and taking the time to watch my matches that blue shirt is going to be mine I say with a smile that's the spirit mason and enjoy the rest of the game and I ran over to lynds and mum who both noticed my huge smile and said good talk love mum asks err yeah the gentleman I was taking too is the youth development coach at cobham also known as Chelsea academy umm he's just offered me a place to train with the academy team and work towards being a Chelsea first team player oh mason darling that's incredible when can you start wait I can train with Chelsea yes darling that team means so much to you and it's your dream I'm not standing in your way aw mum thank you I wouldn't even have this opportunity if it wasn't for you taking me to training and all the matches this may not of happened but what about you baby girl I say as I turn to lynds I don't want you to feel like I'm doing the one thing I said I wouldn't do and that's pick football over you and lynds said baby this is all I want for you and it's not like your moving across the world so you go to the academy and you show the world what you're made off I'm going to be beside you every step of the way I'm stupidly proud of you for you being recognised for being incredible at what you do you deserve this and I can't wait to hear all about your first training session at Chelsea and see you achieving all we have ever talked about baby now go finish what you started babe she says hugging me and giving me a kiss and I take a another sip of juice and jog back over to continue my match I passed my teammate the ball and he scored so we managed to win 5-0 and I was stupidly happy and me and lynd's headed home and I texted dec to share my news and we headed home to to get greeted by Ryan yo bro how's it gone and I instantly cave really well scored 4 and assisted the fifth and not only did I get a hat trick I also scored a place at Chelsea academy and at that point I'm surrounded by my brother and sisters omg mase that's amazing Lottie says and we knew you could do it so proud of you right now nikki says and Ryan adds yo yo it's our future pro our boys got skils err ryan I appreciate the support but stop trying to impersonate a gangster and we all laughed and we had a celebratory pizza and we all headed to bed and lynds got in bed I genuinely can't find the words to tell you how stupidly proud of you I am right now masey i love you so much lynds tells me . I know I said I owed this to mum but I also owe it to you without you being at the pitch side I would've fallen apart time and time again thank you forever baby I love you so much and more all I am is because of you and with a last yawn and a kiss we fell asleep.
