I woke up feeling super excited as today was the day we hopefully find out what sex our baby is i wasn't sure if i wanted a boy or a girl more i thought of teaching my son all about football and me Frank jt and dec playing football with him and I also thought of a mini version of lynd's with beautiful hair that she would want me to style and see her and lynds in matching outfits but I pulled myself out of my thoughts and I made the most of lynds still being asleep and went downstairs to make her a cup of tea and some breakfast for us both I made us both a bowl of weetabix and I cut up some strawberries and placed them in a heart shape in the bowl and made lynds a milkshake and put our water bottles in the fridge and I sent a text to Frank to let him know i may be a bit late to training due to the scan but I'd happily stay and do make up hours after i made sure our midwife notes were in Lynds's bag and I placed our breakfast on a tray and headed up to our room and see if she was awake or was showing any signs of waking up and to my delight she was sat up and was scrolling through baby outfits and she looked up at me and said morning baby what you got behind your back and I say breakfast is served my darling and i walked over and sat on the bed aww this is so cute thank you baby and she leans over and kisses me and she noticed my legs Bouncing up and down rather quickly and she says you okay darling. I say I promise I'm fine I'm just really looking forward to seeing the baby again and hopefully they cooperate and allow us to find out if they are a girl or a boy I'm just so excited about it all I've packed your bag and made sure all your notes are in there and I've made you some pre scan snacks and our water bottles are in the fridge to cool aw mason it's adorable that you've done it all but what am I supposed to do I can't do nothing what about your training bag is that packed lynd's asked me that can be sorted out later honestly I just need to put a hoodie in baby girl now please eat your breakfast and while Your doing that ill be in the shower ok and I head into the shower and I get ready and I adjusted the water temperature so it wasn't to hot for lynds and I walked out and lynds says mase quick come here and i feel as though I jumped to her side what is it darling what's wrong do I need to call mum nik or an ambulance and she says gorgeous relax but give me your hand so I give her my hand and she placed it on her stomach which now has a slight bump and within a few minutes I feel something brushing against my palm and I gasp oh my god our baby is moving I've just felt our baby move oh my god this is really happening and feeling properly real now I can't believe it thats amazing and lynd's said your right baby it's definitely real now they are moving let's hope we can find out what they are lynds says and she heads off and gets in the shower and she comes out wearing one of my T-shirts and a pair of leggings and trainers and we get everything ready and headed to the appointment and I took lynds hand and said to her you alright baby and she nodded and I placed a hand on her bump and said please cooperate for the scan little one and we walked in the clinic and waited for dr Linda to call us in and lucky enough just as lynd's finished her bottle and went half way through mine we were called in and dr Linda says hi Lynds and mason how are we and we both say we're all fine and she asked us if there was anything we were concerned about and we said no and lynds says the little ones definitely following in their parents footsteps though as they are very active and dr Linda says ahh have they started moving and lynd's nodded and said yes we felt it properly for the first time this morning getting ready to come here aw they're going to keep you busy then right let's get to it shall we and I help lynds on to the bench and she's told to lift her top up and the gel is placed on Lynds's stomach and dr Linda begins the scan and says everything looks great and turns the screen and we can see our baby and me and lynds both say hiya little one and then after dr Linda takes a few photos for us as keepsakes and she says now do you want to know now or do you want me to place the gender in a sealed envelope and then you can open it later or get someone else to reveal the gender no we've definitely decided we're far too impatient and we have to many excited family members and friends waiting to find out so can we please know what they are and dr Linda says okay fair enough right 10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1 it gives me the greatest amount of pleasure and the deepest amount of joy to be the first to congratulate you on becoming expecting parents to a wonderfully healthy baby girl and lynds bursts into tears and throws her arms around me and cries into my neck dr Linda says have a minute to compose yourselves but congratulations she is a very lucky baby girl and I bend down hello baby girl thank you so much for behaving and letting your mummy and daddy find out that your a girl we've got so many people excited to meet you oh mummy and daddy love you so much.I've got my queen and a princess what more could I want and I stand up and lynds says baby as cute as your speech was I really need to pee and we've got to get you to training okay baby and I helped her off the bench and I gave her a face wipe so she can clean up a bit and she heads to the loo and when she's done we both get in the car and head to training shall we tell everyone now cause you know how crap I am with secrets and Lynds says it's like you read my mind and we grab the background that dr Linda had printed out with our latest scans and lynds I don't know why but so far Since I've found out she's a girl I've already thought of a name but it's probably just a daft idea since it's related to my cravings and I look at her and say what's the name baby and lynds says well since I can't get enough of strawberries and so I'd thought about calling her bree and I wanna use mums name too and mase looks at me and says it's not daft baby it's beautiful and perfect and we then both placed our hands on Lynds's bump and say bree grace mount and we then felt a hard kick and lynds says owch i think she agrees with the choice of her name and I say then it's settled and we both say we love you bree and we then send the picture to the family chat and I say and wait for chaos to commence. And we pull into my bay at cobham and I say are my gorgeous girls warm enough and lynds says yes we're both warm and cozy and she rubs the side of her bump. bree agrees we're warm enough she says and we get out and we head to the training pitch after I change into my training kit and Frank greets us aww come here he hugs us both and gives lynds a kiss on the cheek and I say right take my coat to put over your lap and sit your self down here and then I bend down and say welcome to cobham bree I can't wait to show you around and I feel a harsh kick against my hand and lynds says she's definitely got the powerful mount kick mastered already and she rubs her bump and me and frank head off to training smiling and and an hour and a half in frank says to take a drink break and I head over to lynds hello to my darling wife and hello darling daughter and My hands instantly make contact with lynd's bump and we kiss and lynds says I think our daughter is currently indulging in her daddy's other favourite activity and is currently sleeping as she's gone quiet on me which I'm not complaining about as I can have a break from her feet pommeling me and my organs and ribs and I say aww I'm so glad she's giving you a break from her kicks darling I've just got a few more sets to do then I'll be on cool down and we can all go home and I'll run you a nice relaxing bath and we can relax for the rest of the evening alright and I gave her another kiss and Jt came out with a cup of tea for lynds and a few packets of strawberry laces and jt looks at me as if to say you cover all of the options when it comes to the cravings and I nodded as if to say I understand and offer him a smile thank you.Frank tells us good job we've all worked hard and once we've showered we're okay to go and I head to the showers throw some hair powder in my hair and changed into my Travel set and after a bye to everyone we headed home and I ran Lynds's a bath and made sure she was okay and then carried on packing away bree's clothes and i hung her I was born to play at the bridge with daddy on the front of her baby grow and her name on the back like it is on my shirts showing and I was then joined by lynd's who tucked herself into my side and I say hi baby enjoy your nice relaxing bath and i feel her nod against my body and say yeah it was lovely until someone not mentioning any names bree grace decided that as soon as I was really enjoying the bath my gorgeous husband ran me she thought it would be the perfect time to make me crave a cheese and spinach pizza with Parma ham now I can't think about anything else she says with a light giggle aww darling right you stay there a minute I just need to pop out I'll be 20 minutes and lynds looks at me and says ok I'll just sit in bed and eat my strawberry laces and watch some Disney films until you come back ok darling I'll be as quick as I can mums downstairs if you need her alright I love you both and I head off to surprise lynds with her pizza craving and since i had ordered ahead it was already for collection i thanked the staff and I hid the pizza under a thick coat of mine to stop the smell from giving it away mum said you've only just eaten mase and I whispered it's for lynds she's craving it so I got it for her as a surprise and mum said you've got a lucky wife and daughter young man and i head up to mine and lynds room with the pizza behind my back and she's crying at lady and the tramp and the scene where lady gets taken into the pound by the dog catchers is playing I say baby Im home and I need you to close your eyes and she paused her film and does as I ask and I removed the coat and placed the pizza on her lap and I said okay baby girl you can open them and she allows her eyes to open and she looks down omg this is where you went to get me a pizza that I've craved and I nod baby come here she says and she give me a kiss and we both eat the pizza and watch the rest of lady and the tramp and when the film finishes and we've eaten all the pizza lynds says I have another craving that only incredible husbands can passify oh what's this I asked her and she said something that got us in this situation and she gestured to where our daughter was currently growing and I said a another craving I'm happy to assist with and I pulled lynds top off and then lowered her leggings and that's how we spent the rest of the evening until we went to bed in each other's arms and both having one hand over our soon to be born daughter.
