I'd woken up to a subtle buzzing coming from my phone and I opened it to see a text from jt (jt2️⃣6️⃣) Morning mase id rather you hear it from me but unfortunately me and Chelsea are parting ways and I'm leaving the bridge so I'm going to following in lampsy's footsteps and go into management for a bit I'm hoping I've done enough to keep frank there but keep the blue flag flying high cobham's instantly clutched at my chest and my thoughts and breathing ran wild I respected jt and I got on with him but he wasn't a patch on Frank that man's blood was blue he gave us the best 13 years of his heart and soul and now he's training us to be the same I couldn't regain my breathing and I began to violently shake and I headed into the bathroom and lock the doors and find my hidden blade and I placed ten cuts along each of my thighs and and let the tears mix with my blood I don't know a Chelsea with out frank he's been such a huge part of my life they surly can't treat Frank like an unwanted pet that's not right and I hear lynds moving around and typing on her phone frantically I don't blame her if she's had enough of me I mean I'm crying over my idol possibly loosing his job and suddenly our room goes quiet and my eyes feel heavy I managed to place three more cuts to my thigh totalling 13 cuts that represents the 13 years frank was there for i then dropped the blade and allowed my eyes to close like they so desperately wanted to do and I heard a knock on our front door and an Irish accent that I couldn't quite work out where I'd heard it and then I picked up fast approaching footsteps and our bedroom door opening and footsteps headed to our bathroom and then I heard a tap on the door and a voice spoke out mase mate it's Frank if you can can you open the door for me I really need to see your okay mate I'm worried about you mase and I flick the lock on the door tainting the silver handle red and Frank comes in and says aw mason hey open your eyes for me mase and I briefly opened them and weakly said Frank I'm so sorry this is my fault I shouldn't have ever gotten that red card during the Leicester match I can't imagine Chelsea without you there Frank oh god this hurts I did this to you i ruined your career and failed you and Frank placed a flannel over each of my thighs and said woah mason don't you dare blame yourself my job at Chelsea's fine I promise you mate I just got a warning for my over celebrating that's all its my fault not yours don't even think about blaming yourself mason now I'm so sorry mate but how much do you trust me and i that alright and I nod an agreement and Frank removed the flannels from my thighs and he said it's okay mason your being a real champ luckily they aren't that deep so we can treat you here mase do you have a first aid kit and I say shyly erm I think so and Frank says all right I'll check with lynds  and Frank re wets the flannels and places them back over my thighs and heads off to see if we have what he needs and 10 minutes later and he comes back in and says don't worry mase it's Frank and he sets himself back besides me and says right chap this may sting a little bit but gotta make sure these heal properly and he begins cleaning up my thighs and then once he's done he placed a dressing over them and repeats the process on my other thigh and he says right that's that all done now and dusted can I ask what happened to get you in that thought chain huh and I say i ruin things it's all I know how to do its me mason stupid fucked up mount the one who cost a legend of Chelsea his job and Frank pulled me into his chest hey mase you've not fucked anything up I promise you faithfully god this is heartbreaking i wish you knew how much your loved by everyone i still stand by what I said to you the day I saw you at the academy on your first day you have so much talent and are a beautiful young player and you think it's an honour to be coached by me well it's an honour to coach and I say a bit louder i have to call or text you and Frank says we'll done next question who's staying put at  Chelsea to look after the biggest pain in my ass but I wouldn't change him for anything and I say you lamps and Frank says correct again now come on you before our wives think we're having an affair and i laugh and Frank says if you don't behave and stick to our agreement mason I will make you play in either a Tottenham kit or arsenal kit depending on how mean I'm feeling and I say that's worse than feeling down that's just proper embarrassing and Frank said well it's incentive to listen to your bloody boss then isn't it you little shitbag and I laughed Frank then says ahh much better right we really should get back to our wives and i agree and I stand up and me and Frank hug and I say thank you so much Frank best hero and best boss in the world and Frank says my pleasure mase and we head downstairs and I see Christine sat holding bree ahh that's the Irish accent I couldn't pick up on and lynds sat beside her and Frank said aw god she's got a baby I'm in trouble and lynds looks up mase and she comes running over hiya gorgeous feel better now you've heard it from Frank directly and I nod and say im sorry I broke my promise and lynds said baby never apologise it's part of you and it's one of those things you we have to live alongside and it's each day as it comes the main thing is that you know no matter what you always have a pair of arms to comfort you and a shoulder to cry into no matter what the reason yeah and I nod I couldn't ask for a better extended family than the one I have and we ended up in a group hug and Frank said I'll be checking in with you and lynds just incase some information may not reach the destination also known as you lying to me by leaving out what you think I don't need to know so if you suddenly find me on your doorstep thank your wife and I said I will all of you mean the world to me which is why I'm going back on the medication for a bit and see how things go and lynds looked up at me and said I'm so very proud of you gorgeous and frank said I agree but with out the gorgeous part and I laugh and Christine says you can do this mason and I'm also always at the end of the phone if you ever need me especially to babysit and I hug her and say I appreciate that Christine thanks and then Frank said right now you know Im staying put at the bridge I'll leave you in the more than capable care of your wife and I'll message you tomorrow and don't even think about training at the moment either if I get one report you've made contact with a ball I'm sticking you in a box of ice alright and I nod shyly and frank and Christine leave and lynds gives me a kiss right you little shit what are the plans for this afternoon I'm thinking films and cuddles and I say that sounds perfect and she said right you go and figure out what we're watching and Im getting the snacks ready and having a shower and then we're not leaving our bed until bree needs us and i say that sounds perfect baby thanks and off she goes to get everything ready for us and I went and sorted out bree who had woken up hey little lady you still up to your old tricks and interrupting mummy and daddies time together and bree gurgles up at me and I say oh I see is it like that well then daddy had better see to you then and see if I can get you back to sleep and I hope as you grow up you have amazing wonderful people in your life like daddy has in your mum and everyone else so let's get you changed and all comfy again and i Change bree's nappy and put her in a fresh baby grow and give her some of her bottle breaking off occasionally to wind her and then I took her upstairs and put her in her Moses basket and lynds came out of our bath room and said hey baby and hello darling girl look how cute you look mummy loves you baby sleep well now please no more interruptions so I can spoil your dad and she wrapped her arm around me whilst we both tucked bree in and then once bree was down and sleeping we headed over to our bed and lynds said to me how are you feeling now baby and I responded with like a twat for doing what I did especially since I broke my promise to you and I was incredibly selfish to do that knowing that our baby daughter is in the house and lynds said hey that's just it bree's a baby she's not going to know what's happened to you today and it's only me and Frank and Christine that knows whats happened here all bree knows is her amazing kind hard working daddy who loves her very much and she loves you just as much back and I see the handsome perfect loving man who I worship more than ever and you make me so proud of you everyday I can't imagine my life without you baby you are my heartbeat and bree is my blood and I'll need you whatever the situation and I pull her into a hug you Mrs mount  are perfect and we get into bed and watch our films cuddling and I place kisses into Lynds's hair and eventually I fall asleep ready to get my life back into my control i had too for my family all of them. When I woke up lynds and bree were already up and I could also hear Lottie and Ryan arguing over who was getting the remote and mum stepped in and said did you two actually grow up or was that skipped and Ryan retorted with mum let's not be mean to her I know it's difficult for you to admit I'm the favourite child but I don't want the celebrity status and Lottie says phaha the only status you have is for being a man tart and even that's a bad one and mum says pack it in you two honestly and I say ahh another day in paradise ehh mum and gave her a hug and she said good morning mase you okay love and I nod and say yea errm mum do you remember what I did with dr Hugh's contact card I forgot to save his number and mum instantly raised her eyebrows and I said yeah erm things got really bad yesterday and i i i er ah I relapsed so I think I need help and mum looked and said what happened darling is something wrong with lynds or bree and I said no thankfully they are both fine It's more to do with football chels specifically jt got sacked yesterday and Um Frank nearly did too and I just panicked at the thought of being at Chelsea with out Frank I owe him my career and lynds is franks pa and if Frank left I couldn't ask lynds to leave a job that all though she hasn't started properly yet I know it makes her so happy and I'm ridiculously proud of her but I wouldn't trust anyone else with her and mum says aww love it's ok the main thing is franks job is safe and yeah it's sad about jt but I'm sure he'll be back soon mum says and I say I just can't break my promise to lynd's again well or you for that matter so I have to crack it now and mum passed me the card and said Im so proud of you darling and kissed my forehead and I put the number into my phone and I thought make yourself stronger mason and fight it without pills first and then my phone buzzes in my pocket and when I pull it out I feel the first piece of my anxiety fade (super frank🎖) Mason I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this from you so umm I'm not just Chelsea's coach anymore I'm actually CHELSEA'S OWNNER so don't think I can sack myself to be honest 😂hope you feel better now proud of you mase 🙂 (Mason🔵) This is one hell of a way to wake up aww frank now I really feel stupid over yesterday but congratulations at least you and your clubs safe now let's make the world blue 💙🔵 I quickly typed back and within a few seconds Frank also replied (super frank🎖) Ooh those last words are words of power and talking off this is now yours (picture of captains armband) PERMANENTLY 🏆 Please be Chelsea's captain 🙂 (Mason🔵) YES CONSIDER IT DONE🥲 the relief I felt at knowing frank will now forever be my boss gave me a huge sense of comfort and relief spread quickly through out my body and lynds picked up on this and came over and said I'm guessing you now know about the new owner huh baby and I picked lynds up and she wrapped her legs around mine and kissed me and I said yeah and Franks not the only one who has a new title when I'm back off paternity leave I'm going back as Chelsea's brand new captain and lynd's kissed me oooh im a captains wife I love it and I love you baby you make us so proud of you congratulations gorgeous and she whispered I hope your captaincy has perks and She then winks at me Oooh mrs mount you are trouble personified and she pokes her tongue out at me and I sit her on my lap and tickle her and she playfully smacks me and whilst laughing I had even more reason to fix myself now I have to be the best captain for Frank and for Chelsea and a player my family will be proud of .
