Caesar felt like breaking the glass in his hand at the sight in front of him . he was sitting at a table with 2 of his friends while he watched the other dance with the woman he was in love with . he denied it when asked .. but anyone with sense knew he was in love with her , deeply in love with her one should say .
"So .. you just gonna stare or are you gonna put your pride aside and go handle your business?" leon asked from beside him . "I'm not staring at anything , i was zoned out" he said and leon & dylan looked at each other knowing their friend was just being difficult . "you're clearly staring" dylan spoke up and caesar turned his attention to the two of them with an irritated expression on his face . "why are women so complicated" caesar asked and his friends both started fidgeting awkwardly .
"Well- not to be that person but .. technically you and y/n are having problems because of you" leon said and caesar made a confused but offended expression . "elaborate on how any of this is my fault?" "well for starters you knew she was in love with you .. you slept around with her a few times .. played a boyfriend role for a bit & then dipped off leaving her alone with her thoughts and feelings on how she wasn't good enough" "i never said she wasn't good enough-" he was cut off by a voice speaking behind him .
"But you made her feel that way" darren said making the other 3 look up at him . "and who asked you anything?" caesar put his glass down on the table the clinking noise loud enough to catch the attention of a few people close by . "i'm just saying , leon is right .. you & y/n are having problems because of you .. you are the problem" darren finished and caesar stood up facing his friend , causing the others to stand as well . "and you're saying all of this why? you think you're the solution?" caesar asked pushing his hands in his pockets .
People around them began to stare as their height , and attractiveness had all eyes on them anyways . "i might be , i mean let's be frank .. y/n is a very attractive women , both mentally and physically & she's just my type" darren said and in a split second caesar's fist was thrown and almost connected with darren's jaw . luckily dylan grabbed him before they could cause an even bigger scene than they already were . "okay , guys chill" leon spoke up as caesar kept his raging eyes on darren . "may the last man standing win" darren spoke and caesar snatched his arm away from dylan and walked out of the club .
He immediately got inside his car , speeding out of the parking garage . his phone sat next to him on the armrest ringing continuously as he called her . after waiting more than 10 minutes & after 30+ calls he saw himself as pathetic & changed his route to take himself home . upon his arrival he saw y/ns car in his driveway . he immediately parked and ran over to her while she sat on his steps .
The rain fell heavily on her & caesar felt his expression change from sadness to anger . "why the fuck weren't you answering your phone ? and what are you doing out here in the rain .. god can you be anymore fucking stupid ." he yelled out and y/n stood up from his steps . even with her face dripping rain he could still tell she was crying about something . she looked up at him with red eyes , her face now twisted into a scowl .
"I see i've made a mistake coming here" she spoke , her curly hair sticking to her face and heavy on her shoulders . Just as she turned to walk away he grabbed her arm making her chest tighten . "i'm sorry , please don't go" he spoke up looking at the back of her head as she'd had yet to turn around .
In one swift motion his cheek stung but before he could focus on her slapping him he pulled her in kissing her lips hungrily . he was more than surprised to have her kiss him back than at the fact that his face still stung from the slap that happened a few seconds ago . she wrapped her arms around his neck and he placed his hands on her waist sliding down behind her thighs and picking her up to carry her inside the house & up the stairs into his bedroom where she'd been more times than she could count anymore .
The kiss barely breaking as the both of them confessed their love & apologetic feelings towards each other . she was allowing him to manipulate her into his trap again .

While he was showering y/n heard a knock on the door , pulling herself up she threw on one of his shirts and walked down the stairs to the front door . without asking who it was she opened the door surprised to see the person as much as they were surprised to see her . "Darren?" . his heart dropped down to his stomach as he scanned her attire getting a clear picture of what happened .
He'd lost .. well for now he had .
