THIRD PERSON

"What a shame," he pursed his lips as he looked at the paper she gave.

"Ang taas mo na," he raised his hand and dropped it on the table, "And then you will let yourself slide down again,"

"Why? I thought we will let it last for, like a year?" He asked. She just stood straight, not wanting to argue anymore.

He scoffed, "Wow, may konsensya ka pa? Wendell almost caught us. You didn't even bother when my househelper saw you in my room. Where's the confidence, Raya?"

She shut her eyes closed and contemplated. She knows that it is wrong, but she needs an extra income to provide necessities of her own. Joaquin, her boss, offered her a sexual work that pays her double than what she'd been earning as his secretary.

Now she is filing a resignation paper and promised not to appear in front of him anymore. She will completely disappear in his life and won't engage herself to any sexual activities with him from now on.

"Mag-aasawa ka na," she spat.

She knows that she'd been gaining profit in a wrong way, it will be worse if they will continue this knowing that he is already engaged with someone.

It feels weird for her, she began caring about the lady's feelings right after having a conversation with her. She doesn't even feel the guilt even though she already has a boyfriend who is ignorantly lying in the hospital bed.

Maybe because she had seen how sincere was Ursula, how determined she is to take efforts for the guy she's about to take vows with. It breaks her heart knowing that Sula has been caring for someone who is more likely to be in hell in afterlife.

He chuckled, "So what? We're not even in a relationship now, this is purely fixed by my father,"

"I can sleep with whoever I want. I don't even have to hide it from her, sa ignorante niya ay baka hindi niya pa nga mahalata kahit harap-harapan pa," he cockily told her.

He is a plain jerk, and she is just a slut in his eyes.

"Alam mo namang parehas lang kayong dalawa," he said. "Sula and you are both gold-diggers,"

"She only wants the money, gano'n ka rin naman, 'di ba? He asked.

That hit her, she only did those things to provide medication for her sick boyfriend. No one knows about it and she doesn't care. As long as mapagaling niya ang boyfriend niya, okay na siya. She doesn't mind losing everything including her dignity, just to save the guy from dying.

"Both of you only use me to have money, why can't I take advantage?" He asked.

Kilabutan ka naman," she talked back.

He rolled his eyes, "You should have thought of that before engaging yourself to this,"

Naiirita niyang tanong.
