THIRD PERSON
"So, how was it?" his friend, Jino, asked while sitting beside him.
Joaquin sighed as he sip his alcohol. It's been two weeks since he left for a vacation with his fiancee. Ngayon ay nakabalik na sila para maghanda sa paparating na kasal.
"By the way your brothers helped me organize your bachelor's party last night. May plano ba si Ursula?" He asked.
"Bold of you to assume that she has girl friends to join her party," he chuckled.
Nasamid si Jino sa kaniyang iniinom dahil sa narinig, "Seryoso?"
"Baka nai-intimidate sila makipagkaibigan sa kaniya kasi maganda," he muttered. "You want me to invite some ladies for her?" He asked.
"No, seems like she doesn't want some fake bitches and besides, hindi niya rin style, she would rather paint walls," Joaquin shrugged.
"Sa bagay," he shrugged too.
"All we have to do is to invite her family to our wedding. I must convince her father to come. If not, walang mage-escort sa kaniya sa aisle," he told his friend, tumango ito.
"So ano ngang nangyari sa bakasyon niyo?" He asked again.
Joaquin rolled his eyes, "Nothing happened,"
"Ey, that's impossible," napataas ang kilay ng kaniyang kaibigan.
It is really imposible for him to imagine. His vacation always tend to just focus on naked bodies and alcohol, he never appreciate the places he had went in.
"Dude, it must have been so perfect. Cold weather, we own the whole house, we can do anything we want," he ranted.
"Tapos walang nangyari manlang?"
"It's not that we didn't try, it's just that, ugh," he groaned and ruffled his hair aggressively.
"On the first week, she got sick, then a week after, ako naman. Sa last days namin, my dad arrived! Mas nagkaroon sila ng bond ni dad since mas may alam si Dad tungkol sa province niya. I was left with his arrogant secretary,"
He immediately frowned after remembering how he was left home with Wendell to look out for him dahil kasalukuyan siyang may sakit. If hindi dumating ang dad niya, Sula will be the one who will take care of him until he get better.
The time when Mr. Bermuda invited Sula to walk around their province, Joaquin is still sick so he asked his secretary, Wendell, to stay. He felt pissed after remembering how bad he got treated by the guy. Wendell had fun in stepping on his pride.
"Can you pass me that?" He asked Wendell, who is sitting in front of the couch he's laying at, to lend him the canned beer on the coffee table.
Wendell didn't bother to look at Joaquin, he paid more attention to the game he's playing. Kung tutuosin ay break niya rin ito dahil hinayaan siya ni Mr. Bermuda na gawin kung ano ang gusto niya habang nasa kalagitnaan sila ng paglilibot ni Sula.
Joaquin's commands are not part of his job, his father just asked him to look out for him.
"I said pass me that!" He threw a pillow to Wendell's direction.
Wendell shut his eyes closed and fixed his glasses before looking at Joaquin. "Hmm, ito po ba sir?" He asked while raising the beer.
He just glared. Wendell opened the can and drank it himself, making Joaquin's lips apart from each other. He continued to play his game, unbothered.
