THIRD PERSON

"You're shameless, aren't you?" Sambit ni Wendell habang sinasara ang pinto.

He scoffed, "I already knew it all along. You know where she is from the start,"

"Why didn't you beg? Bakit hindi ka lumuhod manlang sa'kin para ipaharap ko siya sa'yo kung alam mo naman pala?" Wendell smirked.

"You know that we're about to divorce. No one knows that except us both. And why would I beg to someone like you?" He just shrugged as response.

Joaquin crossed his arms, "You blend so well in this environment,"

He knows that Wendell is not as good as they think he is. He is cold and only thinks about himself and his image. He might just helped Sula to move places because she is one of those people who think that Wendell is flawless.

"Don't compare me to the dirty you, we're not the same. All I did is to protect your wife," Wendell told him.

Joaquin laughed, "Right. My wife, shouldn't I be the one protecting my wife?"

He crossed his arms, "Are you obsessed? Bakit ba ang hilig mong manghimasok sa buhay ko?" Joaquin asked him, he just scoffed.

"You have months, days, hours, minutes, seconds to treat her right. But you still act like shit. If you think that sticking with you is better, please think again. She had experienced the worst because of you," he spat.

"That bitch you had reffered to the company before," he suddenly muttered.

He realized that his former secretaries are actually hired by Wendell. It is either they like money, or Joaquin himself. He never had a secretary that actually declines his offer. At ang pinakahuli pa ay pinipilit siyang gumawa ng kung anong makakasakit kay Sula. It was all planned to destroy him and his family.

He admits that he was wrong for offering sexual works before, but he already left all of those in the past. He can't even sleep properly knowing that Sula thinks that he is cheating during their marriage. Now, he wasn't even sure if Sula hears his apologies.

"I never said that it would be better if she will stick with me. But she doesn't deserve this either. If you think you had treated her right while I am not around, why would she has to suffer like this?" He asked.

"It is her fate, because of carrying your child, she had suffered--"

"Bullshit. Fate? Wendell, are you telling me that she had suffered because of her damn choices? Is it really terrible, or she is just surrounded by people she thought she could trust?" He asked, quite pissed and disappointed.

He almost believed that Sula meant it when she said that she would prefer Wendell over Joaquin. Sula trusts him a lot, she trusts every people she could treat as friends. And because of her genuine trust, they must have the responsibility to keep her safe.

Joaquin feels bad that she needs to lean on everybody, she can't act on her own. And because of that, people take her for granted, even him. Her own husband admits that he had taken Sula for granted.

"You know how genuine she is to everyone. You have no right to tell her that. Parang sinasabi mong deserve niya ang nangyayari sa kaniya kasi hindi siya marunong magdesisyon para sa sarili niya?" He spoke.

"So what if she chose to raise my daughter? So what if she still wants the marriage? Who are you to stop her from choosing what she wants to do?" He asked Wendell.

"If these things are the consequences of her life choices, why would you blame her? Blame me. She carried my child, she married me, it all happened because of me. Don't blame her, I wrote the fucking fate she's in. It is all my fault so never blame her for her misfortunes, please,"
