(BELLAMY POV)

I am able to make to the room where they are keeping the grounder prisoners, through the vents.
"Get up," I tell the grounder that help save my life. I open her cage and help her out. "It's time to go. I told you I'd come back for you. Come on out. Our people are marching on Mount Weather right now." I open the next cage and go to get the guy out but he slaps my hands away. "Hey. It's okay. We're getting you out."
"Slow down. They just bled him," The girl says.
"Listen to me. There's an army inside this room, and I need you to help me get them ready to fight.
Can you do that?" I tell her and she nods. "Good. Start with him." She helps the guy out as I move to unlock the next cage. The grounders start shouting. "Too much noise." The girl goes and yells something at them and it becomes quiet.
"Okay. How do we do this?" The girl asks.

"There's an army outside going for the main door. When they get it open, all hell will break loose.
That is the signal for my friends to come here and...." I answer but stop when the P.A. comes on.

"My fellow citizens, this is your president speaking. I have news to share with you that will change all of our lives forever. For 97 years, Mount Weather has been our home. It's kept us alive, but it has also held us captive. Most of us have made peace with what we've had to do to survive. We've done these things for one reason so that our people could someday return to the ground. That day is today," Cage says.
"He's going public," I say.
"Before my friend Lorelai Tsing was murdered by the outsiders still at large in this mountain, she found a cure. It was in their bone marrow," Cage explains.
"Here," I say as I hand her the keys. "I'll be back."
"Where are you going?" She asks making me stop.

"He's trying to get his people to turn on each other. They'll find my friends. I have to bring them here now. I'll send them in groups. You get your people ready to go, but you wait for me to come back, do you understand?" I explain to her.

"Wait! Thank you," She tells me.
"You free your people. Protect mine when they get here. We can thank each other when we're all outside," I tell her before going into the vent.
"This has been the dream of our people since the bombs, but to reach it now, I need your help.
The 44 criminals that irradiated level 5, killing 15 of our people, are now keeping us from that dream. Although we've repaired our home, we can never replace the lives that were so viciously taken from us, and as hard as it is to believe, there are those among us who would help the people who did this, and I am speaking to you now. If you truly want to end the blood treatments once and for all, then the 44 murderers you're now hiding are the key to doing that. You have one hour to turn them in without punishment. After that, we'll be forced to consider you enemies of the state. I'm asking you, please do what's right for your people, our people, so that we can all take our rightful place on the ground. We're almost home," Cage explains.

(AUGUST POV)

Octavia, Indra, a few guards, and I were going through the mines. Octavia and I were leading as Octavia follows Lincoln's map.

"According to Lincoln's map, we're getting close. It's a maze. Lincoln should be here to show us the way," Octavia says.
"He wasn't ready. Even he knew that," I tell her.
"He'll do well fighting with the commander," Indra adds.
"It meant a lot that you forgave him," Octavia says.
"He earned that," Indra says. "I have known Lincoln since he was a boy. He always questioned our ways, but if he ever chooses sides against the clan again, not even his bravery can save him." There is a noise behind us and a guard starts shooting.
"Stop shooting!" I order the guard.

"Reapers are not the enemy!" Indra says.

"We don't kill them unless we..." I go to say but reapers come from everywhere.

"Now!" Jackson yells as he turns on the tone generator and the reapers clutch their ears. "Tranquilize them. Go for the jugular!" The guards tranquilize the reapers and they fall to the ground unconscious.

"Secure their hands and feet," Octavia orders and we tie them up.
"Well done. They'll be out for a while. We'll come back for them," I say. Indra rolls one over and freezes.
"You know him?" Octavia asks and Indra doesn't answer. "He'll be okay now. Abby will help him."
"Let's go. We have to find that door," Indra says as she unsheathes her sword. We continue through the mine. As we continue the lights go out letting us know that Raven took out the turbines.

"We found it," Octavia says as we come to a door.
"You found it. It appears we didn't need Lincoln after all," Indra says.
"Thank you," Octavia says.
"You've done well, Octavia kom Trigedakru," Indra says. I nudge Octavia with my arm and smile.

"What does that mean?" Octavia asks.

"What do you think it means?" Indra asks her back.

"I think I want to hear you say it," Octavia says.
"You're one of us now. As are you, August kom Trigedakru Natblida," Indra says as she also looks to me. Indra walks forward and I nudge Octavia with my arm. We both smile at each other. As we wait for the door to open we hear a horn.
"We're retreating," Indra says.
"That can't be right," I say.
"We have to go. Now!" Indra says as she sheathes her sword.

"Indra, wait! They're still in there," Octavia says.
"And our commander's out there, under attack for all we know," Indra argues.
"I don't trust her, not after Tondc, and neither should you," Octavia says.
"I gave you a direct order," Indra says before looking to me as well.
"Please. This was the plan. If we're not here with the tone generators when they come out, Reapers will kill..." I go to explain.

"Plans change. Octavia, let's go," Indra says.
"I'm not going anywhere without my brother," Octavia says and Indra puts a knife to her throat.
"You are no longer my second," Indra says as she leaves a small cut on Octavia's throat before leaving. The other grounders follow her.

"Octavia, August, please. Come home with us," Jackson says.
"I have no home," Octavia says.

"Bellamy is my home," I say as I stare at the door.
"You'll need this," Jackson says as he hands me a tone generator and leaving his bag. "Come on." Jackson and the guards leave.

"Come on Bellamy," I whisper as I lean my head on the door.
