(BELLAMY POV)The sickness passed quickly and everyone was preparing for the battle against the grounders. Since the sickness was over we moved August into the dropship so someone could always keep an eye on her since she still hasn't woken up. Everyone is beginning to worry that she won't wake up. After telling some kids to go patrol the south wall, I walk up to Clarke.
"Anything?" I ask her.
"It's been two days. Maybe the bomb at the bridge scared them off for good," Clarke answers.
"You believe that?" I ask her.
"No. They're coming," Clarke answers.
"Jasper thinks he can cook up some more gunpowder if he gets some sulfur, and Raven says she can turn that into landmines and it'll be easier when August wakes up to help," I explain to her. "So be careful where you step."
"Ha! Funny," Clarke states.
"What I really need is 1,000 more of her tin can bombs I can roll into their village and blow those grounders to hell," I tell her and she gives me a 'really' look. "That's what they want to do to us."
"Can't believe we survived 100 years just so we could slaughter each other. There has to be another way," Clarke explains.
"Any word from the Ark?" I ask her.
"Radio silence," She answers as she shakes her head no.
"Finally ran out of air," I state.
"Maybe my mom was lucky being on the Exodus ship. At least it was quick," Clarke says. "No one is coming down to save us." We then get back to work. A while later someone yells fire and I notice the meat room was on fire. I run over knowing that was where Octavia was working. When I get there I find Murphy pulling Octavia out of the fire.
"Are you ok?" I ask Octavia. Murphy stands up before heading towards Del."This is all your fault. We told you it was too much wood," Murphy says before he starts fighting Del.
"Get the hell away from me," Del says.
"Hey! Hey! Hey, stop! Save it for the grounders," I order as I break them apart.
"Well, now what the hell are we gonna do? That was all the food," Octavia says. After the fire goes out, I start looking through to see if there is anything to scavenge.
"Any idea what happened?" Clarke asks as she walks up.
"Murphy says that Del kept feeding the fire, mostly because Octavia told him it was a bad idea," I answer her.
"And we believe Murphy?" Clarke asks.
"I do. Yeah," I answer her.
"We have some wild onions and nuts in the dropship. It's only enough to last us maybe one or two weeks. What's left here?" Clarke explains.
"Nothing. It all burned," I say.
"Then we have to hunt. Anyone we can spare goes out," Clarke states.
"With the whole grounder army out there?" I ask her.
"Look. We can't defend ourselves if we're starving," Clarke explains. We gather some people and head to the dropship to get weapons.
"Each group takes someone with a gun, and they're for killing grounders, not food. We don't have the ammo," I order. "Use the spears for hunting. Get what you can. Be back by nightfall. No one stays out after dark." I then head over to where August is. I bend down beside her and grab her hand. "I wish you were awake. I need you." I watch to see if she would wake up but she doesn't. I then look around the dropship and see that it is just about empty. "I love you." I then kiss her forehead before going to see if Raven has any more ammo.
