(AUGUST POV)Diyoza says her terms, "I don't care how you make it happen, August. Kill Octavia if you have to. Bring her to me in chains, and I'll do it for you, or she can surrender herself, but your red queen doesn't seem like the type."
"Let us worry about that," I tell her.
"We have an understanding, then?" Diyoza asks.
"We do," I tell her.
"Good. Call me back when it's done, and we can work out the details of your crossing. Over and out," Diyoza says.
"No way," Bellamy says as he finally looks at me with pain filled eyes.
"Bellamy...." I try.
"We are not killing my sister, August. How could you even think of that? I don't care how crazy she is," Bellamy says as the betrayal he is feeling comes out. "Run the loop. The rover's charged. We're getting our friends. That was reckless. We had a plan. You agreed."
"That was before Octavia made Madi her second," I tell them causing Bellamy and Harper to look at me in shock. "That army marches to war as soon as they find out the eye is down. I can't let that happen."
"So we don't tell anyone?" Harper suggests.
"They'll know as soon as we drive away," Monty disagrees.
"Well, who cares? We grab Madi and Mika, and we go," Bellamy says.
"Bellamy, they're by her side," I stress the danger that Madi and Mika are in.
"She's my sister, August," Bellamy deadpans.
"You don't think I know that?" I ask him, knowing I didn't like the plan anymore than he did but my girls come first. "Tell me what else to do."
"We stop the war," Monty states.
"How?" Clarke asks him.
"Algae," Monty answers as he pulls out a tube.
"Monty..." Bellamy says with a sigh.
"Cooper already gave me permission to show what it can do. She's meeting me before the afternoon meal, so I can take her to the..." Monty starts to explains.
"That's enough," Bellamy interrupts before taking the tube from Monty.
"Hey, give it back," Monty tries.
"Monty, Bellamy's right. Cooper's worse than Octavia. No offense," Harper tells him.
"Besides, the first batch put me and Murphy in a coma for almost a week," Clarke says as she takes the tube from Bellamy and hands it to Monty. "By the time it's ready to eat..."
"The first culture, and we're not gonna eat it this time. We're gonna feed it to the plants. If I can make the farm viable again, then we'll still have a chance," Monty explains before the door is opened and Octavia walks in.
"The spy did her job?" Octavia asks as she looks at the computer.
"Uh, we were just about to send for you. Told you Echo would get it done," Bellamy quickly tells his sister to keep her from noticing the tension in the room.
"Can the enemy still see us?" Octavia asks.
"For now, yes. It's technical, but..." Monty answers her before he is interrupted.
"He has to run a loop to mask our troop movements," Cooper interrupts. "When the time comes, we need to clear the surface to reduce the risk of anyone noticing the same people moving in the same direction again and again."
