(AUGUST POV)

"You should get some rest. You'll need it for when you go find your people," Roan says after he had put away the things for my tattoo.

"Thank you," I say as I look at the tattoo on my uninjured side. He nods before leaving the cave. I then fall asleep thinking about finding Bellamy. I wake up a couple of hours later to find Roan sleeping on the other side of the room. I quickly grab my bag, knives, and sias before leaving the cave. Once outside of the cave I head for the dropship.

(BELLAMY POV)

Finn is leading us as he follows the map. We have been running for a while now.

"Everyone, eyes peeled. We're in Grounder territory," I say as I look around.

"Everything is Grounder territory, all right? I can't keep running, all right?" Murphy asks as he stops running making everyone else stop. "We don't even know if the guy Finn killed was telling the truth."

"Keep moving," Finn says as he walks back to Murphy and shoves him forward.

"We can give him a minute," I state.

"No, we can't. You heard what that Grounder said. 'They'll outlive their usefulness.'" Finn explains.

"I heard what he said when you had a gun to his head," I tell Finn.

"Look, you think I wanted to do that? He would have told his people we're coming, and by the time we got there, our people would be dead. Maybe that's something you can live with, but I can't!" Finn says as he goes to walk forward but I shove him back.

"Hey, you did what you think you had to do, but you are not yourself right now, and I can't be out here with another loose cannon," I say.

"Guys," Monroe says as she raises her gun. We hear flies buzzing before turning to see bodies.

"Fall in," I order as we walk through the bodies.

"Where the hell did they come from?" Murphy asks.

"From the Ark," I answer.

"It's a rough landing," Murphy says as we walk to the edge of a cliff to find the station.

"There's nothing we can do for these people. We got to go," I say as we walk away from the edge. We then hear like a girl crying.

"Did you hear that?" Murphy asks.

"Hey. Hey, someone's down there," Monroe says as we walk back over to the edge and look down.

"Hey! Up here!" I call down.

"Please, help me!" The girl calls out.

"Mel?" Sterling asks.

"Help me!" Mel yells.

"You know her?" Murphy asks.

"Shut up, Murphy. She's my friend. We have to do something," Sterling says while Finn looks at me.

"Help me! Sterling, please!" Mel calls out and Sterling takes off his bag to start looking for something.

"We can't stop," Finn says.

"This isn't a Grounder, Finn. We have a rope," I tell and he shakes his head.

"You saw her. She'd never be able to hold on to it. We'd have to lower somebody down. It'll take time that we don't have. I hate this as much as you," Finn explains.

"I know. I... I know. Ok, I know," I tell Finn.

"Just hold on! Just hold on, Mel," Sterling tells Mel.
