(AUGUST POV)

Clarke, Bellamy, and I made our way out of the capital. Bellamy starts looking around and I figure that he is looking for Octavia. Apparently, Clarke had the same idea.

"She'll be okay. Octavia can take care of herself," Clarke says.
"That's not what I'm worried about," Bellamy says. I grab his hand and squeeze in reassurance.
"She won't be charged. Everyone will say that Pike had it coming," I tell him.
"Maybe we all do," Bellamy says.
"How do we tell these people that the world is ending after everything they've been through?" I ask as I look around at all of the heartbroken people.

"We don't, not until we know A.L.I.E. was telling you the truth," Bellamy says.
"It was the truth," Clarke argues.
"Still, keep it to ourselves until we know what we're dealing with and how to stop it," Bellamy says.
"You're afraid of how people will react," I say.
"Yes. Besides, I could use a break from keeping you alive," Bellamy says with a teasing smile.

"I believe I'm the one that's been keeping you alive," I say with a teasing smile. "Keeping you both alive." I nudge Clarke.
"Besides you and Clarke just gave them back their pain. Let's not add to it by telling them they're gonna die in 6 months," Bellamy says. Clarke and I nod in agreement. "Good. Once everyone's down, we go home, we get to work. We didn't survive this long just to let a little radiation takes us out."
"Thank you for keeping me alive," I tell him with a smile and Clarke nods. A woman starts yelling out as she holds onto a man. Clarke takes off running.

"If only she made it easier," I say as I run after her.
"You don't make it easy," I hear Bellamy say behind me. Clarke looks the guy over. "He didn't fall."
"He chased us in the City of Light," I say as I look to Clarke.
"Lexa killed him,' Clarke says and I nod.
"Wanheda," The woman calls out and backs away as she looks at Clarke. A crowd forms and everyone starts mummering while looking at Clarke. We start walking away from the crowd and find my father and Abby.

"Dad!" I say as I pull him into a hug.
"Good. You're down. We have to go," Clarke says as I pull away from my father. "The rover's in the north woods."
"What about the wounded?" Abby asks.

"Grounders don't want our help," Bellamy answers. "Our people, we'll treat at Arkadia."
"Hello? Bellamy, please, come in," Raven's voice comes over Bellamy's radio. We walk away from Abby and my father.
"Raven, you okay?" Bellamy asks.

"Yeah. Yeah. We're all in one piece," Raven answers.
"That's good. There's something we need you to look into," Bellamy says.
"First, tell me how my friends are. Did everyone make it? August?" Raven asks and I take the radio from Bellamy.

"Clarke and I are here, thanks to you, Rey," I tell her. "Raven, did A.L.I.E. ever tell you why she created the City of Light?"

"No. Why?" Raven asks.

"Haihefa-de! En's kiken! Osir gaf fisa in!" A man calls out. The King! He's alive! We need a healer.

"August?" Raven asks.

"Fill Raven in," I say as I hand the radio to Bellamy before taking off to where Roan is.
"They need a doctor," I hear Clarke call out to I guess Abby. I reach his body and roll him over.
"Roan?" Abby asks.

"He got shot trying to help me. I thought he was dead," Clarke explains.
"Not yet, but he's close," Abby says as she feels his pulse. I look at his back to see if the bullet went through or not.
"No exit wound," I tell Abby.
"We need to get the bullet out quickly," Abby says.
"Get away from our king," Echo says as she puts her sword to my chest and brings me back to her.
"Wait. Please, no," My father says. "You're making a mistake. We're part of the coalition."
"I could save him, but you have to let me," Abby says.
"We have our own healer," Echo argues. "Lid haihefa-de gon bangeda seintaim kom ostof kom oso stedaun. Dula'm op nau." Take the king to the embassy with the rest of our dead. Do it now.
"Echo," Bellamy says as he comes running over.
