(3rd PERSON POV)
At first light August, Clarke, Bellamy, Finn, Raven and a few other kids went to go explore the wreckage of the Exodus ship.
"Clarke and August shouldn't be out here," Finn states worried about Clarke.
"Clarke's mom and Bo's father was on the ship. They're looking for answers. You want to help them, find me the black box, hard drives, anything that will explain why the ship crashed," Raven says.
"Stay sharp. Grounder retaliation for what happened on the bridge is coming, just a matter of when," Bellamy explains.
"Can you blame them?" Finn asks.
"No. I blame you," Bellamy answers.
"Maybe if you didn't bring guns," Finn starts.
"If we didn't bring guns, we all would've been killed," August says tired of them arguing before walking over to Clarke.
"Why they're coming doesn't matter anymore," Bellamy says as he looks over at August worriedly. "It's our job to be ready when they do. We're on our own now." Clarke is looking at a piece of the ship when she backs and covers her nose.
"Clarke, stop!" August tells her before running over with Raven not that far behind.
"Rocket fuel?" Clarke asks.
"Hydrazine. Highly unstable in its non-solid form," August answers as Raven picks up a rock. Finn and Bellamy then join them.
"If this stuff meets fire, we're all pink mist," Raven explains as she dabs the rock in the Hydrazine. "Fire in the hole!" Raven tosses the rock and causes an explosion.
"We need to clear the area," August says as she looks to Bellamy.
"Ok, then," Bellamy says as he turns to the other kids. "We move in formation, no straggling, weapons hot. We got to get back before dark." They all head back to camp. August being the first one back hears the campers murmuring about Murphy being in the dropship. August takes off inside to find a bloodied and bruised Murphy.
"Where is he?" Bellamy asks as he and Clarke walk into the dropship. "Everyone but Connor and Derek out. Now!"
"He claims he was with the grounders," Derek states. August can tell by all the cuts that Murphy wasn't lying.
"We caught him trying to sneak back into camp," Conner adds.
"I wasn't sneaking. I was running from the grounders," Murphy says.
"Anyone see grounders?" Bellamy asks. Conner and Derek shake their heads no.
"Just because you didn't see them doesn't mean that they weren't there," August states but Bellamy ignores her.
"Well, in that case," Bellamy says as he raises his gun.
"Hey, what the hell is wrong with you?" Finn asks as he jumps in front of Murphy and knocks the gun away.
"We were clear what would happen if he came back," Bellamy answers.
"No. If he was with the grounders, then he knows things that can help us," Finn argues.
"Help us? We hanged him. We banished him, and now we're gonna kill him," Bellamy says as he raises his gun back up. "Get the hell out of my way." August grabs Murphy's hand and notices that his fingernails had been ripped off. Clarke notices what August is doing.
"No," August states.
"Finn is right," Clarke says as she steps forward.
"Like hell, he is. August, Clarke, think about Charlotte," Bellamy says.
