(August POV)

I was upstairs taking care of Lincoln, while Bellamy watched over us. Raven was able to set up a way to video chat with the Ark. I have been avoiding talking to my dad, especially since he's been actually asking to talk to me. Why does he want to talk now after all these years? I just don't get it. Miller comes up the ladder.

"Did you talk to The Ark?" Bellamy asks.

"I told Digg's mom the news, John's dad. I'm supposed to talk to Roma's parents later," Miller answers.

"Thanks for doing that. I owe you," Bellamy says because he has also been avoiding the Ark.

"Telling all these parents that their kids were murdered by grounders, I just wish I could say we were getting some justice," Miller says and I glare at him.

"We're not killing him," Bellamy orders.

"You were a lot scarier when you had that face paint on," Miller says before splattering berries on Lincoln's face. Lincoln then head butts Miller, knocking him to the floor. I laugh at Miller. I head down the ladder to find Clarke with Bellamy following. Bellamy and I haven't really talked since my whole I'm a grounder speech, but he has been a little protective or stalkerish however you want to put it. I find Clarke coming out of the tent where the video chat is. She sends Dax inside.

"Hey, Clarke," I say walking up to her.

"Just the person I was looking for," Clarke says.

"What's up?" I ask her.

"The Ark found some old records that show a supply depot not too far from here," Clarke answers.

"And you want me to go check it out since I know the area," I finish for her.

"Yeah, that would be great. Take Bellamy with you. See if you can't talk him into talking to Jaha," Clarke says. I nod before heading to find Bellamy. I find him leaving the dropship.
"Bellamy," I call out to him.

"The answer is still no. I'm not talking to Jaha," Bellamy says turning to face me.

"Hey, relax. I'm not even talking to the Ark. Besides, that's not why I'm here," I explain.

"What, then?" Bellamy asks.

"Clarke says the Ark found some old records that show a supply depot not too far from here," I answer.

"What kind of supplies?" Bellamy asks.

"The kind that might give us a chance to live through winter. I'm gonna go check it out. I could use backup," I explain to him.

"Why are you asking me?" Bellamy asks and I'm getting annoyed with all the questions.

"Well, because right now, I don't feel like being around anyone I actually like. I'll get my stuff, meet you in 10," I tell him before walking off. I meet Bellamy over by the rations. Bellamy is packing his bag full. "That's a lot of rations. You realize this is a day trip," I say.

"A lot can happen in a day," Bellamy says and we leave camp. I don't know why but I have a feeling that he is trying to leave for good.

"You know the first dropship is gonna come down soon. Pretty sure you can't avoid Jaha forever," I say trying to make conversation.

"I can try," Bellamy says.

"The depot is supposed to be around here somewhere. There's got to be a door. Maybe he'll be lenient," I say trying to see his reaction to talking to Jaha.

"Look. I shot the man, August. He's not just gonna forgive and forget. Let's just split up, cover more ground. Stay within shouting distance," Bellamy says before walking off. I keep looking around before I trip over something. I look to see it looks like a handle to a door.
"Bellamy. Over here. I found a door," I call and Bellamy comes over. "I think its rusted shut."
