We Are Grounders (Part 2) 2

(3rd PERSON POV)

After not getting a response from August, Bellamy is helping build barricades. Then the sound of war drums can be heard. Bellamy stops helping and heads for the gunner position where Octavia is at.

"Where's Octavia?" Bellamy asks Miller and Monroe once he gets to them.

"She left 5 minutes ago after hearing August," Miller answers. "Didn't say where to. She thinks she's a damn samurai."

"You see anything?" Bellamy asks.

"No. What the hell are they waiting for?" Monroe asks anxiously.

"The longer they wait, the better. This is about buying time for Raven," Bellamy answers her.

"I see them. They're moving! I count two, 3, no, wait, there's more. I don't know, man. There's too many of them," A guy's voice comes over the radio before a gun is fired.

"Who was that?" Bellamy asks.

"Sterling, I think," Miller answers.

"South foxhole. South foxhole, report now," Bellamy orders into the radio as more shots are fired.

"Yeah, yeah. We're ok. They didn't attack. It's like it's like shooting at ghosts," Sterling answers.

"There! I see them!" Monroe says before shooting and Miller starts doing the same.

"Stop! Stop. Hold your fire! Hold your fire!," Bellamy calls until they stop shooting. Miller pulls his clip out. "Reload. Now."

"Those were our last clips," Miller says.

"We should we should fall back," Monroe states.

"No. If this position falls, they'll walk right to the front door," Bellamy explains before raising his gun. Meanwhile, August is fighting some of the scouts since she made sure that Finn got away. Clarke is still looking for a wire with the help of Raven in the dropship.

"I don't see anyone. They're too fast. I hit I hit them. I think I hit them," A voice on the radio says.

"Do you see it or don't you?" Raven asks Clarke.

"No. It's a mess down here," Clarke answers.

"It'll be orange. Look harder! You have to find the wire that connects the manual override to the electromagnet," Raven explains. "It's not rocket science."

"It is rocket science, actually," Clarke says.

"Guess we finally found something you're not good at. I used to be picked first for everything. Earth skills, Zero-g Mech course. First every time. So, how the hell did I end up here?" Raven says.

"Raven? I'd pick you first," Clarke states.

"Of course you would. I'm awesome," Raven says. Clarke cut a tie and looks through the wires.

"Hey, I found it. Orange wire," Clarke says.

"About time! Now follow that wire to the override panel," Raven explains. Clarke goes to follow it only to find it fried.

"Raven? It's fried. Totally useless. Tell me this isn't as bad as I think," Clarke says.

"You know how to splice a wire?" Raven asks.

"No," Clarke answers.

"Then it's worse," Raven states. Raven goes to move over but cries out in pain.

"Hey, stop. Just keep talking me through it," Clarke tells her.

August finally kills the grounders that she was fighting. August then climbs a tree before grabbing her bow. She notches and arrow as she watches the grounders.
