(AUGUST POV)

We've been driving for what feels like forever now. I would so much rather be riding a horse. It had started to rain about an hour or so ago, so I took looking out the window. I could feel eyes on me every now and then, I know they are Bellamy. I'm just not ready to talk to him yet.

"It's been an hour since we passed the airplane wreckage. Seeing as we're using a map without any distances, it could be days before we reach Luna's village," Jasper says and I look back to see him looking at the map. I then look back out of the window.
"At least we know we're going the right direction," Bellamy says.
"We're running out of daylight. We should stop in the sun, recharge the battery," Jasper argues.
"What sun?" I ask him.

"We keep going until it dies," Clarke says.
"We keep going until we get to Luna," Octavia corrects.
"This her?" Jasper asks.

"Yes," Octavia answers.
"What do you think she's gonna say when we show up asking to put an A.I. in her head?" Jasper asks. She's going to say no.

"Lincoln said she helps those that are in trouble. She'll help us, too," Octavia answers. Bellamy then slams on the brakes and I'm sent flying forward. Instead of hitting the dash like I expected, I hit something else. I look to see that Bellamy had stuck his arm out. I give him a thankful nod to which he nods back to.
"Think she can help us find a better map?" Jasper asks as we see a tree in the road.

"Backtrack. We'll find somewhere where the trees aren't so bad," Bellamy says. Octavia then hops out the back and I hop out as well. "Hey!"

"Guess we're going on foot," Clarke says as she also gets out and starts following Octavia and me.
"Anyone hear the part where I said it could be days?" Jasper asks.

"Stop," I say as I grab Octavia. "You hear that?"

"Water," Octavia answers and we smile before taking off with Clarke not far behind us.
"Eyes sharp. They could be hostile," Bellamy calls out.
"They're not hostile," Octavia argues.
"Put the guns down," I add. We find a river and follow it all the way to the ocean.
"Where's the village?" Jasper asks and Octavia looks in the journal.

"No. Oh, no. It can't be," Octavia says before she takes off.
"It's not a village. It's just a bunch of rocks," Jasper says as we look at the stacked rocks around us.
"She's gone," Clarke says.
"What do we do now?" Jasper asks. Octavia goes and kneels down by the rocks by the ocean. She then lets out a yell.

"We wait," I say and they look to me as if I am crazy. "They come to us." I then walk off to collect sticks for a fire. Bellamy eventually came and started helping me. Octavia and Jasper start to make the fire.

"It'll be dark soon. We need to talk about what we're gonna do," Clarke says and I roll my eyes. Did she not believe a single word that came out of my mouth earlier.
"We wait until first light, and then we split up and search the shore in both directions," Octavia says and a fire starts. She then transfers it to make a bigger one.
"I agree. Lincoln wouldn't have put this spot on the map unless it was important," Bellamy says as he grabs Lincoln's journal.
"Don't touch that," Octavia says as she knocks the journal from his hand. Bellamy then squats down beside Octavia.
"Come on, O. How long?" Bellamy asks her. He is hurting so bad because he needs his sister.

"I don't know. I can't even look at you because every time I do, I see Pike putting that gun to Lincoln's head. I hear the gunshot. I see him fall," Octavia answers. I feel tears come to my own eyes remembering being right there.
"I didn't kill Lincoln," Bellamy says.
"No, but he is dead because of you," Octavia says as she stands. "And August would have been too." Bellamy also stands and sends a sad glance my way before turning back to Octavia.
"I came to you. You didn't take my help. If you had just trusted me, I..." Bellamy starts. Octavia just shakes her head before kneeling back down in front of the fire. Bellamy walks away and I stand while watching him go. Jasper then throws something into the fire and it turns green. Of course the signal.
