TRIGGER WARNING SA
5 YEARS AGO"Okay Philo remember what I said don't wander off I'll be right back and don't talk to anyone but me," Owen says. "But... but-" he cuts me off. "No buts Philo not everyone's nice.... just please wait for me to come back okay." He looks down at me.
"O... okay." He walks away with his friends.
It's a party. Owen wanted me to come to get me out of the house.... to enjoy my teenage years.
I notice a chair next to me, so I decided to sit and wait for Owen.
Strong smells hit my nose causing me to feel lightheaded. I look around me noticing some people drinking, smoking, or dancing.
I start feeling nervous.
Why did you even come?
"Hey, I'm Alex... what's your name?" A boy walks up to me. I look up at him noticing he has a varsity jacket... which Owen has so he plays sports. "h... hi... Philo"
He smiles "Well Philo why are you here alone?"
"I'm... I'm here with my friend... he left." I look down.
Maybe he's nice.... a new friend?
"Mm leaving you alone ... hey wanna grab a drink."
I hope they have juice... what kind of party doesn't have juice? "I.... yeah." I get up following him to the kitchen which is packed with people.
"Hey wait here." I nod. He leaves for 3 minutes and comes back. "Here you go, baby." He gives me a red cup.
"What is it..." I look inside the cup seeing light yellow liquid. "Is it juice?" I look up at him.
"Yeah, baby... it's juice." He drinks his and waits for me to drink mine. I take a sip almost spitting it out.
"I d... don't like I.. it. " I give a sour look. He laughs. "Come on it's not bad.. give it one more shot."
"I... I don't- " he cuts me off. "You don't want to be my friend." He pouts.
"I do." A tear almost comes out of my eyes, but I fight them back in. " Then drink." He urges.
