15 years later

My twin sons Ryder and Bo, both stood with me as Scott was about to say his acceptance speech after winning the final race of the season. "Just want to say that this is one of my best memories, winning this for my unborn daughter, Jamie and my sons Ryder and Bo, but especially my beautiful wife, Mavy. Thank you." he always wasn't one for speeches, but he glanced at the crowed before leaving the stage and then to me, wearing a Black Sabbath t-shirt and some blue jean shorts. He just smiled at me and our two boys.

We headed to our California home after the race, which sat on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. "So, everyone is coming in tonight." I said, sorting through the mail. "I know, this is going to be the greatest reunion ever." Scott said dancing in the hallway. Ryder and Bo sat on the stairs laughing, "Dad's more excited than you mom." they laughed almost tumbling down the stairs. "I know, but not nearly as happy as Uncle Jasper." I said. "So, does that mean that everybody's coming over." Bo asked. "Yup, kiddo. Uncles and Aunt from across the country." Scott picked him up. "Be careful with my baby." I scolded.

In a matter of hours, everyone was here Jaz and Hayley, who were married fresh out of college, with their kids; Jake and Marsh. Nash and Warren, who both went off to the Marines. Garth and Terri, married and live in the Florida Keys, kids; Garth Jr., TJ and Sola. Fonz and Brax, who made a home in Brooklyn, with kids; Gabby and Mona Lisa. Carr and Marcy made there way back to Seattle, they have two dogs and a baby boy named Eric. Nico, Gunner and Rocket are still causing mischief, but a lot less these days. And now all of them were in the same place, its only been 5 years since we have last seen each other, but it feels like forever.

"I can't believe that you sent Scott to open the door, for me." I heard Nash say as he made his way toward the main living area. "Oh, shut up and help me up." I nagged him. He did as I asked. "Well, if it isn't my favorite sister and my favorite niece." he said, playfully pressing my stomach, making Jamie kick. "She's awesome." he laughed. "Cut it out, you two." Garth nagged us. "Garfield, I missed you too, baby brother." Nash picked him up and hugged him. "Uncle Nash, put him down." Bo demanded. "Well, I guess I'll have too, since you're the sheriff around here." Nash put Garth down, and kneeled down to Bo. "Yeah, I'm sheriff." my little boy said, with a smug grin. "Too bad," Nash picked him up, tormenting him. Bo, laughed and wailed hysterically before returning to the floor and going to tell his brother about it.

Gathered around the large Mahogany dinning table, we all sat together as a family and as we laughed and reminisced the past, we all knew that from small towns to big cities, that we would be together until the end.

That night, everyone was fast asleep, while me and Scott looked at the stars. "Did you ever really think that we would end up here?" He asked me. "No, but I had a feeling, since the first time we met." I wrapped my arms around his neck. "So the first time you saw me, huh?" He had a smug grinn, the same one that Bo made earlier. "Yeah the first time you broke my heart, and it wasn't the last, but we were still together until the end."

I pulled my left hand to his chest admiring the the bands on my forefinger, the dark heart cut diamond and the gold band they were mounted to, "The most beautiful jewel for a priceless one." he told me, the day he proposed. "So small town, how's life treated you?" He asked, his husky voice knocking me out of my nostalgic haze. "I have to saw that it's treated me pretty well, big city." I smiled and rested my head against his chest and listened to his beating heart.

This was it and I knew it, I had everything I wanted and so much more.

I really hoped that you guys liked the story. I really appreciate all of the support.

Personally, this is my second favorite story that I've written, my favorite is between There's only life for us and The Shadow girl books. But nonetheless I love you guys, and all of my stories and all of your stories. I haven't decided yet if I wanted to do a little glimpse into the missing 15, but let me know if I should or if anything is unclear in the story.

I love you guys for all the support and for being who you are.
